Once again Eagle Service Center has provided excellent service on my vehicle. After a state safety inspection at ESC that required new brakes to pass my daughter heard a crunching noise after driving less than 100 miles when applying the brakes. She called to let them know what was happening and they asked her to drop it off that night and they'd take a look first thing in the morning. They found one of the brake components had a factory defect, replaced it and she was back on the road the same day. No charge for the parts or labor. read more

Paul on the phone was rude talked down to customer . Also charged for two workers to come our and a supervisor when only two were out . and I'm sure the other vehicles insurance were charged same. I was referred to Eagle Towing and I was so thankful for it! The dispatcher was courteous and effective, quickly gathering the necessary details and giving me a clear ETA. The tow truck driver arrived on time and was able to secure the car and get it safely to its destination within a few hours ( and may I add not an ideal route on a Friday Afternoon so thank you George!! ) The pricing was extremely fair with no hidden fees. Having to use a tow service wasn't on my to do list but I'm so thankful there are reliable companies like this one to handle the task when it pops up! 10/10 would recommend!! read more

I am not writing this up over Eagle Service Centers towing but over the work done in the shop. I will not send any of my own personal vehicles to there shop ever again nor would I suggest someone else too. I am sure they can do simple stuff like oil changes and all, but anything more complicated I would not trust them with. I took my personal car I drive daily to them for two years. In those two years I have spent over 4 grand on my car and this would be great for a little and then problems would arrive a few weeks to a month later. My alternator nearly fell out of my car because someone from there did not tighten the bolt that holds it in place tight enough causing it to looses and almost fall out. I was hearing a squeak belt and opened the hood and found the alternator just hangout there, luckily the bolt did not have enough space to come out so it barely held on. Just for clarification They were the last people to do work on my car at that time. The next thing I will write about I have done some work on my car and also had it worked on by another shop but myself or the other shop had not replaced it touched this part. I had to replace the thermostat in my car, so I did. When I pulled out the old one first the gasket that was on it was put on incorrectly to the point it was bending the pin forward, mind you there is a whole cut out/slot for the pin to avoid bending or covering the pin. Second they completely put it in wrong. The gasket has two nubs the pop out from the surface of the gasket that are to be placed in appropriate slots, but instead one was in a slot and the other was smashed between the metal on the housing that holds the thermostat and the part the house connects to on the rest of the engine area. All around I would say they are not worth the money for what they fix or worth the money you may have to spend afterward giving them your vehicle. read more

After some bad or mixed experiences with auto repairs after moving to the area, we gave Eagle Service Center a chance and have never looked back. They're honest, don't try to upsell you on things and give you realistic options and timetables for maintenance and other services. To give you an example, a few years back I had another place give me a near $3,000 estimate for my van. These guys came in at half that price, didn't BS me on repairs I didn't need, and get the job done quickly and effectively. They didn't miss anything either, even now I've never had to change half the things the other place told me were essential. They're friendly, respectful and never start the work without running something by me first. This is our auto place and we couldn't be happier. read more

Called to ask if they would be able to take a look at Power steering fluid leak. The person who answered the phone did not mention his name. He was extremely condescending in his tone. When asked about if I could drop off the car, his response was "you can if you'd like". When I asked if there's a charge for checking out the problem, his response was "of course we charge". When asked how long it would be before they could get to the car, his response. "We'll get to it when we can". Answers to some of the other questions were equally condescending. I'm shocked that Eagle Service Center has a five star rating on yelp. Take your car elsewhere for any repairs as this business does not have the adequacy to talk to customers in a respectful way. We have gone to ESC many times for inspections. When my air conditioning went out this week, I called around for service. The folks here mentioned that I should check under my extended warranty first as many times, it would be covered. (I never thought to call as truck is out of warranty). Low and behold, I called the dealership and there is indeed a recall for this exact item. Without the recommendation from ECS, I would never have thought to call. They saved me over $1500!!! I had a slow leak in my front right tire. I brought it up without an appointment. They fixed it within 10 minutes. I asked them what I owe them and they said bring your car back to us in December when your car needs state inspection. This certainly builds customer loyalty. And this is not the first time something like this has happened with me at Eagle service. I am appreciative that they have a Hometown feel instead of those big big box stores. read more

I gave these guys a call because of what I had read on Yelp. I was concerned about my noisy tires but had limited time. They said I could stop by on my way home and they would take a look. I needed new tires. While my son and I waited, they got tires and got us back on the road in less than an hour. This is without a proper appointment mind you. I was very thankful and felt much safer driving without the noise. Will be using them again in the future. read more

A heartfelt thank you to the team at Eagle. Not even sure how to express their kindness and professionalism. We are from Virginia and were in town for a funeral service. Woke up to a flat tire and could not have been luckier to be close to this service center. I called and they were so accommodating and honestly just cool people. We took our car over and explained that we were trying to get to the services - they (all of them - even the manager) dropped everything to help us. They took care of our car and and were genuinely focused on making sure we in good shape to get back home later that day. Best part - my 16 year old got to see a group of amazing people and business owners put a customer (who is clearly not going to bring them more business based on their out of state plate ;) first and truly care. Eagle Service Center saved the day. Honestly. A tow company other than them was called by my insurance agency to tow my car that was stuck in park and wouldn't turn on. It took 3 hours for that tow company to NOT tow my car because of not having the right equipment. Eagle Service Center was called by my insurance company to save the day and they did. Within an hour, they showed up at my car, towed it, and dropped it off at the service center. ALL WITHIN ONE HOUR. It took that long for the other tow company to just show up. Not only that, but Mike made sure to call before he left to ascertain what was going on so he knew how to handle the situation and then called again to let me know he had just finished dropping off my car at the service. My brakes were absolutely worn down to their limit and these guys took me in because they wanted to get my car fixed up ASAP so it wouldn't be a safety hazard. Bob, the most earnest, well-informed and congenial owner, installed 4 new tires after informing us in great detail of the choices we could make regarding affordability, reliability, performance and durability of the tires available to us. I've been on Yelp for a number of years and only YELP when it's deserved. Eagle Service Center is TRULY one of those companies I will YELP about until I'm blue in the face. Here's a brief synopsis of how I got to know this exemplary towing and service center. Well as luck would have it, it was a day with unusually inclement weather and when it comes to owning mechanically sound vehicles, well you can just refer to me as mister Murphy. One of my latest acquisitions was a late model Jeep Liberty that while on the PA Turnpike, started to spiral downhill just as I was getting off the Pottstown / Exton exit at route 100. Having to get the vehicle off the road ASAP, I immediately pulled off into the brand name big box hotels just off the exit. Called my insurance company (as I have roadside assist), and within 15 minutes of hanging up a tow truck arrived with a young SUPER friendly, professional and courteous gentleman by the name of Mike. Without question, Paul Jr from Eagle Service Center directed Mike to take my vehicle approximately 35 miles in the opposite direction of their shop to my residence (I'm known to torque a wrench here and there). Although it was further than my insurance limits allowed it was not $.10 over the price quoted from Paul Jr. (Who was incredibly friendly and helpful by the way). Without hesitation I was promptly loaded up and taken to my requested destination.
