Came here for dinner with my friends and enjoyed our experience thoroughly. The food was very high-end and well presented. The quality was top-notch. We all got martinis, and I got a mango lassie. Which was awesome! We got a variety of dishes, chicken biryani, coconut, shrimp, crisp board, lamb dish, butter, chicken, and the chicken wings and scallops. The scallops were out of this world so good!. The restaurant itself is really cute. Great for parties of any size. The service was excellent and very fast. All of the recommendations are server had were amazing!

The food, service, and ambiance was all wonderful! I got the buttered chicken, medium spicy and it was perfect! I highly recommend that with the garlic naan that was hot & crispy and a mango lassi to drink! Update: service can be really slow

Since the establishment was clearly labeling themselves as fancy Indian food, it was very clear that they put a lot of thought into presentation. Most of the food they served looked gorgeous, to the point that some may think they were overshadowing the flavor. But I can confidently say that in terms of flavor, many of the dishes were extremely on point as well. Items like the blackened chicken, the tomato dal, the butter chicken, and the palak paneer were very flavorful. The blackened chicken was juicy and tender, too, on top of containing abundant flavor. The samosas contained an abundant amount of potatoes and peas. I could taste a good amount of tomatoes and coconut milk in the butter chicken, which was very creamy. I could also taste very strong garam masala in the palak paneer, which was a great thing. The butter naan was an excellent addition because the flavorful curry definitely needed more than rice to evoke its full potential, and naan bread was perfect for such. In terms of dessert, the mango mousse was incredible! Its soft but solid texture made it very easy to break up and consume, while maintaining its shape without collapsing. The saffron, milk powder, and cream altogether offered a very integral taste that had lots of depth. I honestly want to try all the desserts on their menu, too, like the coconut pannacotta and the basundi pistachio tiramisu, because they both looked amazing on the menu. While this establishment is not one of those places you visit that often, it is perfect for a date night because it has clean and relatively fancy decor along with flavorful food and can evoke a romantic vibe. I will for sure return here in the future and highly recommend it for those looking for quality Indian restaurants!

Food was wonderful and high quality; the best item was the keema arancini. Enjoyed the lively music and sitting by the fireplace in the winter.

One of my top 3 all-time meals in 60 years of dining throughout the U.S. and Europe. (FYI, the other two were in Illertissen, France and Paducah, KY, if you can imagine.) Perfect for us vegetarians. Mango mousse dessert was a highlight, as was a beet-filled kofta. Super creative takes. Relaxed but professional service. Spacious, bright (in daylight) room.

The restaurant environment is very nice! It's great to hang out with friends or just for family dine out. I ordered those dishes with an Indian friend. So I know they are authentic and also yum! The blackened chicken is a little dry to me. But the cheese appetizer is amazing, like tofu!

Gorgeous decor and setting. Tasty dishes and friendly, efficient service. Great spot for date night or dinner out with friends. Also offers mocktails. Try the No-hito and Butter Chicken. Spice levels can be high for a more bland palate, but medium is a safe bet.

Enjoyed a delicious brunch at Raag. The food is perfectly proportioned and a visual treat, with very good variety. This isn't a typical Indian restaurant- it is modern, upscale, and "progressive" so to speak. Enjoyed trying a chai-tini martini to start with. For mains, our party had various dishes including chole bhatura, Szechuan dosa, dhokla, and noodle dishes. The meal was preceded by a unique sensory aromatic experience on the table! While the dosas were flavorful and unique, these were not the large crispy dosas evoked into memory from traditional South Indian restaurants. All the other items were very flavorful and tasty. Finished the meal with various self serve sweet treats. Really enjoyed this unique Indian meal.

Raag amazed me. This place is full of flavors and surprises. We came here for brunch and ordered several items from the brunch menu. The Dosa was made live and we could see the making. We ordered the Szechuan flavor and they are not shy on the amount of hot sauce on the dose. Chicken Tikka omelet, chicken waffle, puffy bread with chickpeas, cake, all the desserts. I do wish their website gives a clearer menu as we usually try to identify dishes we want to order. Perhaps we weren't looking at the right spot. All the dishes we shared was amazing!! I am in love with this restaurant and we can't wait to come back to try their dinner.

Love the concept and this is truly the only place with a mix of both traditional and modern, fusion dishes in the city! We tried the lamb keema bao, butter chicken empanada for starters which we loved. The bao was our favorite for sure. So unique and delicious! For mains we got the shrimp moilee, eggplant mousakka, and lamb rogan Josh. The shrimp was some of the best curry we've had and I loved the eggplant as well. The pieces of lamb in the rogan Josh were tough and chewy, but everything else was great. I also had a chai which came hot and was well spiced. Overall a great spot and hope to try more of their dishes soon!

Excellent Indian food in the cities. We tried the lamb keema pav, palak paneer, dal, and lamb rogangosh. All were excellent. The service is great and the ambiance is great for a night out.

This place isn't what it used to be like. The food quality has changed a lot. The fig kofta was my favorite but from my recent visit, I did not like the taste of it. The gravy has been changed and so it doesn't taste as good anymore! I did enjoy the mini idly on the menu! Ambiance is great as always. I just wish they didn't change the food recipes. Vegetarian thali was mediocre. The stew wasn't as flavorful and the garlic naan came out not that crispy, which is how I prefer. I hope they go back to their old recipes. Service is good, people are always nice when we go there.

They were super crispy, cooked perfectly and I love truffle with fries. The best part however was the aioli that came paired with it. It had a citrusy, umami flavor that was just so incredible I would have taken a whole jar home if I was able to. Absolutely perfect and can make any dish. The Granada slider was also awesome. It was bigger than I expected and included that wonderful aioli again, along with some greens, the patty, manchego cheese, and bacon. It was delicious and once again that aioli is just perfect and it was a much larger amount of food than I was expecting. I also had the mahi mahi taco as well which was good, but not my favorite. Nightingale was packed, but fortunately, once two patrons saw my face from the bar, they quickly paid their bill and left. My face often compels people to vacate crowded establishments in Minneapolis, and we often find seats. After grabbing the two seats, we ordered wine and a wonderful Amaro-based cocktail. Jules was our bartender/server, and although he was crazy busy, he found time to be gracious to us. We ordered the meatball appetizer, halibut, and the Nightingale hamburger. My halibut was sublime, cooked perfectly, and it wasn't drowned in sauce. Bravo! The meatballs were tender and delicious, but the hamburger was not memorable. It was good, not great. Despite all the accolades above, when the bill came, I was charged two dollars after requesting a cucumber slice for my Pimms Cup. Perhaps the source of this pettiness came from the kitchen, but it wasn't smart, because the $2.00 charge placed a shroud over my experience. I would give them a 8.5/10 The Empanadas were SOOOO good. I'd give them a 9/10 Now to the entrees... dun dun dun So my wife and I ordered the Spaghetti Fra Diavolo it was very very good, it has a little kick but not overly spicy very good balance. I would highly recommend, I can see why it's one of the most ordered items on the menu! I'll add some courtesy bread to go with the pasta 8/10 Overall food experience 9.1/10 The atmosphere was great, lots of windows which lets a lot of light in but at night maybe hard to see inside. Overall atmospheric experience 9/10 Service was good had no complaints and even gave us free desert for my wife's birthday. 9.5/10

Fantastic. We've made Minneapolis our second home and are now looking to compile a list of faves…read morefor when we are here. Martina is an ace with its bold flavored Argentinian cuisine and relaxing atmosphere. We dined on the patio, but whether you are seated inside or out, the ambiance is adorned with green plants, natural wood, and clean lines for a modern aesthetic that pleases today's diner. The food was a pleasure. The secret to the bold flavors is in the sauce. We started with an order of the grilled bread and a dozen oysters. I'll never say no to raw oysters (even on some occasions when I should have), but these were a great experience. The vinegar sauce served with these was a unique version that when paired with a dash of the shredded horseradish and a squeeze of lemon juice, the oysters were a punch of zingy perfection. The salted, vinegar infused butter that came with the bread elevated the dish. I chose the halibut for my entree and it was lovely (halibut is a win in any format). However, I would highly recommend the ribeye. My son got that and I sampled a piece with the accompanying chimichuri sauce and it was heavenly. The oils chosen to create that sauce were very well thought out so it made for not-your-typical ribeye and lent itself to something flavorfully unique. We want to return! Putting this on our list of faves when in Minneapolis/St Paul.
