I met with Robert for a (free) design consultation for a job that I subsequently decided not to do, but he was the only designer who had creative ideas about how to squeeze the structure into the limited, existing area. The other designers either thought the job was impossible, or came up with bad ideas that would never have looked right, or would have been impractical. This was one of the hardest projects for any company to undertake as there were many obstacles from Malibu & LA County to deal with.
