Other than that, I consistently paid premium prices and trusted this salon (specifically Eleanor). Last month, I brought my daughter in for a keratin treatment. Both Eleanor & the owner clearly explained that it was not 100% guaranteed to get her hair to be straight and that it's a process that requires maintenance. I understood the risk & agreed to proceed. Eleanor spent about 2 hours on my daughter's hair and the cost was $200 + tip which I willingly paid. After one wash, her hair returned completely to its original frizzy state. I took photos & called to speak with Eleanor--not to ask for a refund, but simply to understand what happened and discuss a possible solution. Instead, I was met with unpleasantness, unprofessional attitude & defensiveness. Eleanor said, "I spent 2 hours on my feet doing your daughter's hair & we told you it's not guaranteed." I calmly repeated that I wasn't asking for my money back--just an explanation or guidance. I never called back again to discuss the keratin treatment because I felt she was so defensive and they will not offer me any other solution. A week later, when I called to book my usual root color appointment, I was told--after checking Eleanor's availability--that I was no longer welcome at the salon. After 7 years of loyalty and spending a significant amount of money, this is how I was treated for simply asking a question. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for long-term clients is extremely disappointing. I do not recommend this hair salon to anyone. Their customer service and sense of loyalty to long-term clients are far below what you would expect from a professional business.

Tomy spent approximately 15-20 mins with me, never asked my preferences and insisted 'anyone can cut hair'... but my hair simply got what amounts to a trim I'm capable of giving to myself. I saw a couple of decent reviews for this place and the owner reached out to offer services when I posted in a Facebook group looking for the service, so I went. On my first appointment, the salon was small but fine enough. The owner and her daughter were unprofessional just screaming across the salon about their business. I was under the impression I'd get my treatment one time here and find somewhere else in the future because I didn't love the vibe. About a week later, I realized that my roots were NOT straight as they should be. There seemed to be a crease in them. Magic Sleek is very expensive so I should be happy with my outcome. I sent pictures to the owner and asked if she could fix it. She made a big deal about finding me a time (when I offered to come in at different times) and finally she "made time for me". When I arrived this morning, she could not be any ruder. She made me feel so awkward and uncomfortable. She continued to BLAME ME for doing something wrong like "scratching my hair really hard to rub the product off". She had already put product in my hair when she started being rude, otherwise I would have walked out and tried to find somewhere else to take me. Her and her daughter continued to scream across the salon to each other. She then kept telling me how she called the Magic Sleek company and they said it was my fault too. By this point, there was no point of continuing to argue with her because you can't rationalize with irrational people. She then talked about me to other patrons WHILE I CAN STILL SEE HER. Her color skills are amazing. I'm usually sitting in a chair for hours while they do my color. It's like she has been doing my hair for the past 18 years. My daughter, 14, went to them for an up-do and they took their time matching a picture perfectly. I would recommend Visage to anyone who knows what they like. In and out service and very reasonable compared to the prices out there today. The appointments are extremely flexible. They fit me in, last minute, many times and the parking is a plus.
