I have not had Quiznos in over ten years, but back when I lived in North San Jose it was one of my regular spots. My favorite was always the chicken carbonara. After moving to the East Bay I thought they were all gone, so I was really excited to discover there is still a location in Hayward. Of course I had to order the chicken carbonara and it was just as delicious as I remembered. The flavor brought me right back. The only thing is that Quiznos can be a little pricey and I wish the sandwiches had a bit more filling. Even so, I am glad this location is around and I will definitely be coming back. read more

Quiznos - Chicken carbonara - Sandwiches Near Me - Hayward, California

Got the chicken carbonara on rosemary parmesan last Thursday around dinner time. The sandwich was overtoasted in the oven, so the bread was crunchy, charred on top, and didn't taste very good. But the sauce and toppings were as delicious as usual. Yummy sauteed mushroom, bacon, melted cheese, and buttery alfredo sauce. Service was so-so, sufficient but apathetic, and the wait for my order was less than 8 minutes with no other customers in sight. Also, the workers were closing up, bringIng the outdoor tables inside more than 30 minutes before closing time, so dining outside wasn't an option on this lovely summer afternoon. read more

I got the Tuna Melt on the Jalapeño Cheddar Sandwich, looks slightly skinnier than other competitors. But it was delicious! I also can't believe Quiznos still exists!!! They don't do marketing enough for this place to get packed. read more

Quiznos used to be ubiquitous in the early 2000s and I used to be a regular at their SF locations. Anyway I happened to be in Hayward around lunch time so I decided to check it out. The menu had the all the subs I remembered in the past and ordered my go-to a Chicken Carbonara. It still had that yummy taste I remembered from the psst with the sauce and the chicken and bacon bits. Rosemary Parmesan bread was tasty too. My only complaint was the tator tots had zero crunch on it. read more

Great customer service, very welcoming and clean environment. The food is so much better than subway and togos in my opinion. Ingredients taste fresh and high quality. Wish there was more around tbh. read more

I LOVE QUIZNOS. I'm so sad most of them have closed. Their sandwiches have an extra flavor that I haven't been able to enjoy at other restaurants. I hope this location stays open, it seems pretty busy when I visit. read more

It's sad to see all the Quiznos disappearing around the area, but thankfully this one is still up and running! It has a huge parking lot next to a couple of other businesses. We came in on a Sunday and it was very empty(I believe during the weekdays the surrounding businesses take over!) The restaurant itself is pretty small, but has enough tables and even has some outside. It's a typical Quiznos setting. Everything is very clean and organized. The people were really nice and quick! I ordered a chipotle chicken sandwich and it was actually really good! I'm always used to getting the meat ball sand which but I wanted to switch things up! It had a really good sauce and even a good sauce proportion to the meat and other toppings! Would recommend if you're craving some good ol Quiznos in your life! read more

Covid-19 rules are enforced here and that's just the first part of why this shop gets the Yelp 5 star treatment! Next is the owner of this store. I met him when the store opened. We haven't been there for a very long time and decided to get Quiznos for dinner. French dip on white mmmm. I ordered double meat on an 8". This was a great choice. Wife ordered the same only regular. Buddy Boy ordered a 12" the Bacon Honey Club. Hot and tasty is what it was. They have a whole bunch of tasty HOT sandwiches and let's face it. Did you ever eat a sandwich from a sandwich shop that was hot BEFORE you ate Quiznos? They certainly forced every other sandwich shop on earth to at least offer hot. The website is easier than other places and I like the man who owns it. I am sure it hasn't been easy owning this place for 14 years but he's done a great job. We were glad to be back and will get back soon ! Yay! read more

I never understood why Quiznos struggled so much. They are one of the better chain sandwich shops around. Subway is not good. They are hands down better than Togo's. They have fun and memorable marketing. They make their own tasty bread. They have good ingredients. Prices are fair. I like the manager / owner (I think?) guy that works here. Fun, proud, a good leader. They seem like they have a high turnover rate for other employees as I rarely recognise anyone and they always seem to be in training. Their menu is a bit wonky, but once you get past that and find your staples, it's a solid establishment. They love the throw ranch dressing on a lot of sammies. Not that you need to go with that, but it is a bit wonky nonetheless. I'm stuck on the traditional or pastrami. Always very satisfied and of good value. A great local establishment. Wish there were more around! read more

I like the $8 foot long lobster sandwiches. It taste delicious and they make it your way. I come to Quiznos only for the lobster sandwiches. A great deal compared to other lobster sandwich places that charges ridiculously from $12 to $14 for a small Colombo size (6 inches). read more

Quiznos - Size of my delicious lobster sandwich combo. - Sandwiches Near Me - Hayward, California

Wow! What a ridiculous experience. I placed my order online through the app for a honey mustard chicken sandwich. When I arrived I was told that they were out of chicken and out of steak so I had to pick an alternative me to make my sandwich with and I had the option of ham or turkey. I chose turkey and assumed that I would get a honey mustard chicken sandwich with the only thing switched being the chicken and the turkey. I ended up getting a sandwich with no bacon and I questioned whether this was the honey mustard chicken sandwich with only turkey instead of chicken and I was told yes. I asked what about the other toppings that come on the sandwich, shouldn't they be included as well? I was told that was the sandwich I was getting. I said, what about the bacon and another toppings? He lied directly to my face and said that they did not have any bacon left. I saw the bacon earlier and questioned him and said no there's bacon right here and I pointed out to him. Then he said, "oh you want bacon?" It was obvious that this location is extremely cheap and they want to cut whatever corners they can cut and not even make sandwiches the proper way. they don't have any problem lying directly to a customer's face. My review may not help you make a decision whether to go here or not but I'm sharing it more for my experience than anything else and for feedback for the store. read more

Best sandwiches, always fresh and tasty. They have the nicest owner and staff. The only downfall is that i just hate the unsafe location.

I've been coming to this Quiznos since I first moved to Hayward in 2017. I thought I had built rapport with the employees since they'd recognize me during my visits but tonight I rushed there to order dinner before they closed at 7pm. I arrived at 6:50pm which I understand is close to closing time but 10 mins is still plenty to place one more order. At 6:50pm they already had all the signage turned off and chairs on top of the tables. I knocked on the door because it was the employees I see regularly but they both looked at me and looked away, completely ignoring me. Had it not been the Quiznos I go to all the time I wouldnt care but I thought I was cool w/ the staff but they shut it down early and didnt even acknowledge me. Ill never go there again. read more

10 out of 10 for the sandwiches 7 out of 10 for the staff: This score comes from the fact that I have ordered online and come into the store to learn that no one ever looked at the fax machine and the order was not made. So now iPhone my order in. It's usually about 85% correct. Otherwise the staff is quite friendly. And the sandwiches are superb. read more

Update I filed a complaint to Quiznos and got a call back from Widi a couple days later saying he wanted to rectify the situation. I finally got my sub coming here for the third time when I could've easily gotten it the second time around. Placed my online order and they closed early. They confirmed my order the next day but I never got my sub. I tried calling them many times and it goes to voicemail. Finally went back to them a couple days later and the manager Widi just kept saying he couldn't do anything and crawled back into his off read more

Safety illness concern. Observed the sandwich maker using the same gloves to start my sandwich (grabbing bread, toppings) and then handled the trash can (swiping away the toppings left on the board and into the trash) and then NOT switching out new gloves to start another sandwich. Luckily the other half of my food was made by another person after the bread was off the oven conveyer. I can't say I will be visiting soon. read more

I didnt know Quiznos were still around until I walked into this one. Friendliest people behind the counter. The gentlemen behind the counter remembers me and we usually chat for a bit, and the ladies behind the counter usually make my sandwiches and they always do a wonderful job. I have zero complaints. Would for sure recommend. read more

I got two sandwiches here--first one was chicken, and I watched as the lady took unappealing pale pieces of chicken and stuck them into boiling water to heat up... I thought I would be safe with steak, but no, this time she goes into the boiling water and pulls out a ball of steak meat...no idea how long that had been there. It was really unappealing. The sandwiches were a bit soggy (even the paper they were wrapped in was wet) and they just tasted like the sauce that was put on them. The bread was unusually limp. I don't know if this is typical of Quiznos but I remember having a much better experience a different location. Why would someone come here when they can get a fresh deli sandwich at the same price? Anyway, one star added back because the owner was very nice and apologetic, and agreed to refund 50% (because we had eaten half the sandwiches before giving up). On the other hand, the lady at the counter wasn't welcoming. If you must come here, tell them not to boil the meat! read more

Finding a Quiznos in 2020 is literally a "challenge." There used to be two Quiznos super close to my house on Whipple Rd in Union City but are long gone. The owner Widi is one of the nicest, friendliest most caring persons on the planet. When the last closest Quiznos to me on Eden Landing Rd closed, he allowed the employees from there to come work in his shop. The food is always good and fresh while the employees are very nice/welcoming. In addition, the prices are not bad at all. With a $1 coupon, I am able to obtain a large Chicken Sandwich for less than $10. I know they probably wont last forever, but I will continue to come until then! read more

great sandwiches, a bit pricey for the amount but they taste good. Make sure to bring napkins as they only give you 3 if those... and if you eat inside the store ....probably will need more. Quiznos - inside the store - Sandwiches Near Me - Hayward, California

The good: Very clean. You can sit outside, pleasant. The bad: Roast beef dip was really tasteless, both the meat and the dip. A waste of 9 bucks. Service was just adequate. Server seemed like she'd rather be somewhere else. Conclusion: Been here before. Each time it feels like they are trying to give the least, food wise and tastewise, for the money. Maybe it's just me. read more

I love this Quiznos. Granted, there aren't a lot of Quiznos around, but even if there were, I'm pretty sure this would still be my favorite! Widi, the man who works here and I believe is a manager, is extremely nice, courteous and lemme tell ya, the man can make a sandwich!! I dont know how, but whenever he makes mine, it always taste better. I think he's not stingy with sauce or meat... But it's also made with love, like the ingredients are carefully placed in the exact places you would want them. I usually get the chicken carbonara, and it was on point this last visit we had! There's another woman who works here that doesn't seem nearly as happy to be here, but she is good at making the sandwiches too. Never got her name. I highly recommend everyone get the app, because I almost always have a 10% off from the app, and when you earn rewards through the purchases you make over time, you get points and can redeem these for sandwiches. I think we have redeemed them for at least three free 8" sandwiches in the last year. This location is always clean and has never been super busy on any of my visits here. We drive about 15-20 mins just to go here. We are going to be moving in the near future and we looked up if there's a Quiznos around there... There's not!! I'm heartbroken. read more

Dumb girl didn't want to honor the $1 off sandwich with Yelp check-in because they need "A code to type in". Clearly you're not trained right on how to do your job; all you do is just TAKE OFF A DOLLAR LIKE THE MANAGER DID WHEN HE CAME TO THE REGISTER. Then have the nerve to say it was "Expired" because she saw the timer counting down. WOW. The link to the paper coupon/page doesn't even work from a mobile phone anyway. Onto the sandwich, It's been a very long while since I've been into a Quizno's so I sort of forgotten how things are made there. I was wondering why there was an oven between two sections. I asked for a tuna; I assumed she would make it cold. She didn't even ask if I wanted the bread toasted or anything like that before she put the condiments I requested on the bread and PUT IT THROUGH THE TOASTER. TELL ME WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND TOASTS MAYONNAISE?! If she would have TOLD ME it goes in toaster to get to other side for the rest of the ingredients I could have better been informed. She is horrible as customer service and clearly doesn't like her job. Lucky for her the sandwich still came out okay. Back to the first issue: Code or no code, your business is affiliated with Yelp, and the check-in is apart of the offer. Awesome eatery! Lobster fest was great my favorite was the Lobster Scampi! Happy atmosphere great lunch spot.

Not impressed with this location at all the girl who is in charge ring me up at the register and she was so rude and had no personality whatsoever. I'm a Subway gal but my fiance turned me onto their peppercorn sandwich. It's really good. I rarely eat at Quizno's and found myself needing to eat something before grocery shopping. The sandwich was great but too pricey for a sandwich. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. And patient while I was trying to remember which sandwich the fiance liked. The restaurant was clean and organized and well stocked. I love the unlimited availability of peppers. Mmmm! read more

Do not EVER waste your money at this place. This location has been steadily declining over the last few years, so I had transitioned to better sandwich shops. However, my favorite shop was closed today, so I decided to give it a try after about a year. I ordered a regular sandwich with extra meat for about $11.00. When I got home and opened the sandwich there was about a teaspoon of actual meat in the sandwich. This was supposed to be extra meat? This sandwich was all bread and lettuce. Fortunately, I had my own lunchmeat at home to ad. I guess this owners COVID response is to cheat the customers. I should have known it was bad because it was lunch time and there were no other customers in the shop. This place should be closed as a service to the public because they are stealing from people. STAY AWAY, this place needs to be CLOSED! read more

Worst service ever! Me and my friends placed orders using the app on Friday. We get to the location to see a sign saying the store is closed due to system issue. If the system is not working then make sure it doesn't take orders.. I call next day (Saturday) it seems there still closed. I go on Monday I am told I can't get the subs I paid for. This is cheap way to make money. I am going to make sure the Quiznos chain knows about this rubbish service! read more

The co-worker and I use to be regulars here for lunch every Friday when they used to have their Sammies specials for $2. This was when the Sammies flat bread was smaller in width then they have now. They still have it, but the bread is bigger and flatter. Regardless.. I still LOVE Quiznos! They pretty much know us here because we like our sammies extra toasted! I usually go with the Bistro Steak melt sammie and Chicken, ranch, and bacon sammie (used to be called the Alpine Chicken) with the meal. They switched up the names for the Sammies but they are still the same. I've also signed up for the email list and visit Quiznos with the lunch coupons. I've just recently had a small turkey ranch and swiss, with a drink and chips of only $2.99 plus tax! There flatbread salads are yummy too! Especially with their Red Wine Vinagrette dressing at the counter. Can't really go wrong with anything! read more

I'll make this short and sweet the food is not bad by any means but what I'm most annoyed about is that the two women that were working with speaking Spanish in front of me the whole time not engaging with me as a customer only to ask what I want on my sandwich and they were telling a story to each other I'm not really too sure what they were saying but for the five minutes I was in there they did nothing but speak Spanish back-and-forth and they won't really worried about me in there I found it annoying because as a customer and they didn't engage with me at all read more

Not really been a huge fan of quiznos in my time. If I could, I would prefer one of the other sandwich places. However, this one always sparks our fancy because there is a starbucks and a safeway within walking distance. We usually do lunch/coffee and then head to shop. This location is decent. I think the workers try hard to make the customers happy. I think that the manager is a nice guy. He keeps a good stock of fresh veggies to choose from, and he is always in high spirits.
