After leaving the store, I noticed my receipt showed the roller grill items did not ring up according to the posted signage. The signage stated one roller grill item was $2.29 and each additional roller grill item was $2.00. I bought five roller grill items, which should have totaled $10.29 before tax, but my receipt showed $10.58 before tax. I went back inside expecting a simple correction, but the situation turned into an unnecessary argument. The original cashier argued with me and referred me to another employee. The manager on duty, who identified himself as Zion, also argued with me at the counter. At one point, he first agreed that additional roller grill items after the first one were $2.00, then retracted that and said he should not have said it. I had to explain the math multiple times, and Zion even tried to tell me I had been charged less, which was not correct. After the issue still was not resolved, I walked him over to the roller grill signage. Even after seeing the posted signage, he continued to argue that the register rang it up the way it rang it up. The situation escalated further when I made a comment that this is O'Fallon, not St. Louis, meaning I expected better customer service and did not expect to be treated like I was trying to pull something over on the store. Zion responded sarcastically and would not let me explain what I meant. From my perspective, he turned the comment into something it was not and made the situation feel like a public spectacle near the counter. Another employee also became involved, and when I asked if they thought I was dumb, that employee responded, "yup." At that point, I felt extremely uncomfortable. Eventually, I was given a cash refund for more than the small overcharge, but Zion hesitated to give my receipt back, and I could hear employees continuing to talk negatively about me as I walked out. This should have been a simple posted-pricing correction of less than one dollar. Instead, I felt argued with, dismissed, embarrassed, and treated like I was being dishonest. I am leaving this review because the customer service and handling of the situation were completely unacceptable.

They have a self check out so I don't have to stand in line and really when I'm having those antisocial days it's kind of perfect.
