Beef and shrimp combo
John C.

It's a fast casual Asian Hibachi restaurant cooked to order. Very clean and spacious. Food is ready in about 3 minutes of ordering. Portions are good, unlike Panda Express where the portions are baby-like. The shrimp tempura was just ok. They probably need more seating for single people. Most of their tables are for 4. Would definitely come back for an affordable and tasty meal. Bathroom is also cleaned very well

Quickaway Japanese Hibachi is absolutely delicious! I've tried a lot of carry-out in Baltimore city, but this is by far my favorite! I ordered the chicken and salmon combo with the fried rice and noodles. Everything is made to order, so the quality and flavor is phenomenal! When your order is ready, you can add green onions, sesame seeds and extra sauce to finish your dish. I loved every part of my meal. I found myself coming back the next day for more. The only thing that bothered me was the portion of salmon is very small, but it's perfectly cooked, the skin is crispy and the fish is well seasoned. Today my order was ready within 10 minutes. Which is perfect. But, when it is busy, expect to wait up to 20 minutes for your order. I highly recommend ordering online if you're in a rush. The interior is clean and sleek. Very minimal on decorations and ambiance. This place is really focused on the food but if you make food like this I approve!

The opening for this place has been delayed for months, but we drove by today and saw that it was finally opened! We stopped in for dinner, the service was good, but it did take a while to get the food because it was soo busy in there. My fiancé and I split a chicken/beef plate and some spring rolls, which was enough to fill us. The food was pretty good, portions were great, and for the price, it's a great fast casual spot!

My friend and I ordered everything from the tuna tartare, chirashi bowl, Toyosu nigiri platter, seared otoro and the matchamisu dessert. This was plenty of food for 2 people. We loved the quality of fish and presentation here. The otoro cuts were definitely the highlight of the evening. Seared otoro tuna with endless amounts of shaved truffle on top. Definitely save some room for dessert as the matchamisu was a take on the tiramisu. The mascarpone, mango and matcha were a great combination. The service here was great. Our servers were attentive and we enjoyed the variety of seafood, Asian fusion and even saw some hibachi items. Azumi is a great place to enjoy some cocktails, sushi or hibachi. I highly recommend booking reservations in advance. The bartender did let me know they have sushi making classes and tuna carving sessions throughout the month. I'll definitely be back to try some different cuts of fish and their sushi rolls.

The servings are pretty sizeable - they really love putting their sushi platters in a boat which seems appropriately sized. It all makes for a great date night or small group dinner. It is staple in Fells Point being open for a couple of decades so the people sure do believe in this place. I thought the cuts of fish were very generous and tasty, but I was a little disappointed in the sushi rice. I found it a bit mushy and not seasoned properly. We mainly ordered sashimi or rice-less dishes. The cucumber salad was just that - rounds of cucumber. We got this with Crab Meat, but there didn't seem to be any dressing on it so it was fairly plain. I enjoyed the Sashimi Roll - they are large pieces that will stretch the average mouth to fit. We got a side of spicy mayo and found it more sweet than spicy. I appreciated that the Sushi & Sashimi plate came with small seaweed salad. All in all a great spot I would frequent if I lived in Baltimore - you really can't beat the location that enhances the dining experience.

The serving sizes though could be larger for the price charged. Experience: The ambiance of this place is very genuine. You'll see the chef literally making the sushi/bento right there behind a bamboo/wood aesthetic sushi bar. The presentation of the food and interior is sublime. Wonderful. Taste: Despite the relatively higher sauces, the food itself was simply put, very delicious. The creative use of mango, tomato, and oil contrasted the soy sauce and wasabi very well. The fish itself was also, and this is especially important, the star of the dish flavor. Overall, a very competent and high performing Sushi place. The chef was working at the back of the room and I noted that folks were coming to pick up their food. Accomodating myself at the table, I ordered miso soup and salmon rolls; both were excellent. In fact, my only minor disappointment (by any means, not complaining here) was that the green tea is of those ready-to-be-served teabags whereas I would prefer loose leafs with more enjoyable and balanced flavors. Nevertheless, with such a tasty food and friendly service, I could not be happier for having visited this place.
