Average experience overall, sad to see they didn't have any of the flavors of mavens that I wanted but got a few anyways because I've been craving it. My drink wasn't full of ice so I can't argue it being a little more expensive than in accustomed to(I drink a lot of boba but usually quickly is affordable anyways) in fact I probably could have used a little more ice my drink was almost warm. I got the fried tofu and takoyaki, I know small businesses and franchises are struggling so I won't comment on price but my takoyaki barely had any sauce or bonito, no mayo and no seaweed which I thought was standard.. still satisfied my craving and the employees were courteous. read more

I'm new to this area so I wanted to know where to get my boba drinks from. I liked that parking was easy. The store was empty when I walked in around 12:30pm on a Thursday. It's spacious, orderly, and clean. There's a weird odor though floating in the air. I could not stand it if I had to hang out inside. The menu board seems difficult to follow but there's a menu on the counter itself. The matcha milk tea with boba was very good. I'd still recommend it but they have to find and eliminate the strange smell. read more

I know many boba "lovers/enthusiasts" like me (hah) tend to bash on Quicklys for their "non-"artisan boba, however, their consistent & familiar milk tea taste is somewhat nostalgic for me. Growing up in SF, I've always ordered drinks (but mostly my go-to, Bubble Milk Tea with small pearls) and popcorn chicken from Quicklys for years before all the other chains and popular boba spots appeared. Even now, although more rare, I would still "crave" the milk tea from Quickly. I've always associated Quicklys with their quick and cheap boba, so I was pretty surprised when I paid over $4 for their regular sized standard milk tea here. On top of that, I didnt realize this particular location has Happy Hour on Mon-Thurs from 5-7pm where drinks are $2.99+tax and I literally walked in the store at 7:02pm last Thursday. Although I was displeased with the price, it had the same childhood Quickly's MT taste (just more expensive haha). I would have given 4 stars because of the whole Happy Hour & price situation, but the guy working at the counter was really kind and let me borrow his phone charger. So thank you! (+1 star) I probably wouldn't purposely drive all the way here for Quickly's, but if Im in the area again and craving their nostalgic MT & popcorn chicken, I'll definitely stop by. read more

My family and I live fairly close to this boba location so it's our go to! Still a solid four because everything is pretty good here especially the food. However, the milk teas are always a little light in the lack of tea infused in the drink. I always order a jasmine milk tea but it's lacking a strong jasmine flavor which is why they also use less milk. They use less milk because of the weak jasmine flavor. Other than that, everything else is great! We usually order popcorn chicken, waffle cut fries, our drinks (of course). Good always good. Don't forget to add your spice and kick to your food. Could upgrade to five stars if milk teas are made a little better. I would recommend and try for sure still. read more

Finally a legit boba place close to home! No need to drive to T4 in San Pablo however.. folks bring your patience here, seriously. This business just opened and still working out the kinks like training, boba shortages and POS system issues. This quickly just had their soft opening and I can imagine the grand opening will be just as busy which will happen June 2nd. This quickly serves a variety of milk teas, slushy, flavored teas, premium teas etc.. along with 8+ toppings you can choose from. They also offer snack type foods like their popcorn chicken, lumpia, octopus balls, Jalapeño etc.. which they offer calamari or tofu for vegetarians/pescatarians. I was excited to hear that we have a new boba shop that just opened in Pinole. I was not so excited that it would be the chain Quickly and not a mom and pop new Boba store, but nevertheless, I do like Quickly and grew up drinking it before it got so popular and not as good so I thought I'd give it a try. Upon entering, it was busy, which is great news from a new store that opens up in Pinole. I love that it gives business to the city and I was also impressed with the electronic menu. Some older Quickly's still have that annoying wall menu which is so complicated to stare at. The store was extremely clean, as it should be since it is new, and it played really good music using one of its television and xfinity music. It has a small ice-cream fridge where you can get ice cream sandwiches from which is convenient for those who also want something to eat. Although taro snow was not on the menu, the person at the register mentioned that they were able to make it, which was definitely a plus after I asked. So we got a taro snow, an avocado snow, and a honeydew milk tea and every single drink was made really well. I was impressed with it, even the chubby size had the appropriate amount of flavor, so the person behind the bar making it did not skimp the flavor over the larger size. (Some places add a disproportionate amount of more ice to larger sizes and it waters down the drink) Unfortunately, like most GREAT Boba shops, this Quickly's did NOT have fried calamari (which normally people get and make spicy). This is something that I get almost every time at Boba spots (other Quickly's, T4, heck even Tapioca Express's nasty Boba has Fried Calamari). The staff was nice and its definitely making its way for a new Boba Shop with knowing how to treat customers. Customer service is second only to quality and is super important. So every member of the staff should be trained to recognize this. (Here's my inner 7 years of food retail service and management speaking haha). Overall, I would return here again and try it out because it was to my satisfaction. First time at this location, and the service was quick. I called and was told it would be about 10-15 minutes. I got there under 10 minutes and my pineapple and mango slush was waiting for me. There is also a nice trail close by to walk and enjoy your beverage. And for the parents there is a nice park right behind the building. A Quickly in Pinole! How convenient! It's on the busiest street in town too, San Pablo Ave. Next to Fernandez Park. Good lighting inside, big windows, two big screen TVs, 3 menu screens, a daily specials board, tables and chairs and a sofa. Mixed age group but mostly highschool kids and we were there right before closing at 940pm.. They close at 10pm. I love quickly but I've never had this experience. I spent almost 7$ on a super green tea in the green apple flavor. I though this was going to taste like green apple. I took one sip on the counter and wanted to spit it back out, then I thought maybe that was what it was suppose to taste like so I kept the drink and walked away. I sipped it again on my way home and when I say it tasted like either straight perfume I mean it. I might as well sprayed perfume in my mouth. 5 min later I threw up. I just wanted a refresher Drink. I don't know what those workers did. There was no green apple! Next time I guess I'll be a difficult customer and have them remake my drink because when I tasted that, it was undrinkable I mean it, wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Review based on last 2 visits . Been here a total of 3 times . First time was before grand opening, service & taro milk tea was great . Second visit : 3pm , OUT of large boba. Was told it would take 20 minutes & I don't mind waiting so I said that's fine, I'll wait . Me and my husband are taking a vacation down in this area. We happen to pass by this boba shop, I'm obsessed with boba and I heard CA has amazing boba shops so we took a chance and tried it out! They have a ton of tea options with toppings. You can order from a small size to a hugeee size. Also there is a ton of snack items from popcorn chicken, Icecream macaroons, calamari & etc not too bad on the pricing. So I ordered the regular Japanese Green Milk Tea, iced. I was disappointed they ran out of the honey boba , so I just got the drink itself. My husband ordered the guava slush. We also ordered the lumpia 6 pieces & popcorn chicken as well. Our orders didn't take too long. Service was friendly. Cashiers were helpful. So I tried my tea it was so FLAVORFUL, I love how it wasn't watered down like most milk teas. It had a strong flavorful taste and wasn't overpowering the drink. My husband also said he's drink was refreshing and not watered down as well. Our snacks came along and they pack the bag full of popcorn chicken , i was amazed because usually boba shops are super cheap and dainty about the amount of serving they give but here they give you plenty. Even the lumpia , the cashier gave us way more then we ordered and I was so thankful and surprised. I'd rate our experience a 8/10 Good drinks, great snacks & parking was decent. I like coming to this location. They're never really busy when I come here ~ probably because I avoid those "rush" hour times. Weekends in the evenings tend to be slower, at least from what I've encountered so far. The service is usually quick - staffed mostly by young teens...they're friendly and never rude. My son has been begging me for boba all this week I finally broke down and took him. He was so happy when we got there The lady who took our order was nice and patient with him while taking his order because he didn't know what drink he wanted to get. Unfortunately everything she did right we experienced a horrible encounter with the manager and another customer. A fellow customer was sitting at a table with his daughter who appeared to be about 6 years old. They say at a table drinking their slushes and playing jenga having a great time. This guy came from the back of the establishment and walked up to the customer and introduced himself as the owner and randomly asked the customer his name. The guy was clearly thrown off by the random question and refused to give said owner his name. The owner asked the guy his name and told him he was sitting in his seat. The seat the guy was in was clearly a normal table and booth there was no sign saying owner seat only. The owner then got loud with the customer and told the customer because he refused to tell him his name the customer and his daughter had to leave and wasn't allowed to return again. I witnessed this after spending my money in this establishment sad to say I will never return. Very bad service! We was craving for egg puffs and decided to supports our local business. We even called the store before coming in to make sure that they have it. They sure said "yes! We have it!" When we ordered, the guy who took our order didn't say anything about the machine is broken and it would be in a waffle shape. After received the order, we checked the bag and it was a waffle! We came back to asked the guy and he said "oh, it's a waffle shape but taste the same". The taste of the egg puff on a waffle machine is totally different. Your "waffle" egg puffs does not have the crispy churchy taste of an egg puffs. We ate one bite and had to throw it away. Very disappointed and I don't think I will ever trust Pinole Quickly. The times I've been here, service has always been quick. Maybe I'm lucky as in I always seem to come when there isn't a crowd, but regardless I feel that it isn't as bad as some reviews may say. Quickly is the only boba shop that has so many cup sizes and a large menu with different drinks and snacks. The drinks I've tried are all amazing-- and their lumpia is always so tasty. Their prices however, are pretty high. There's a charge for boba and for a larger size, with each being an additional dollar. That's not including the chubby and super size, which is ever more than a dollar. I understand inflation and all that, but it does sting to have a drink go from 6.50 to 8.50 just for a large size with boba. I know the Sharetea close by is by no means any less cheap, but I feel like quickly is just a bit more pricy. BUT I'm not critiquing it for that, because I understand why. I don't mind paying a dollar for boba if it's good. Many times when I come here, their boba is good. read more

I used to love quickly. This was my first time at this location. Ordered popcorn chicken. It didn't have the full effect as other quickly location. Didn't come with fried basil or the spicy powder or the black and pepper powder. I had to ask for it and it did come in a small container that I had to add in myself. Maybe every quickly is made differently I guess but usually the ones I go to add/ask how spicy you want it etc and adds the basil leafs to complete the full taste. And it's a lot pricier now $7.99! I always go to this quickly when I'm craving like a boba drinks. I mean for a few years now go to this one, I always ordered the fried tofu or the popcorn chicken my favorites. I ordered through door dash just a while ago and was so sad that the fried tofu I ordered was only 6 pieces??? 6.75 for 6 pieces??? Um... Since when??? They use to fill the bags up... If they changed this where it's only 6 pieces they should put that on the menu for customers to get an idea on how much they are being charged for so little amount. I love my drink though read more

Been here 6 or 7 times...service is sometimes a bit slow but hey it's a new establishment and I get it. So evidently somebody broke the complimentary water container. So no comp cups or water available. So, I order a side water thinking At most I'll be charged for the cup...I can handle that. But...nope. I get charged $1 for a water, on top of that a warm water. Okay, wu saaaaa, sure I respect that. The nice girl helping me asked me if it was okay with it being warm so that was cool of here. I asked for some ice in a cup. Was then informed that the ice and cup would be an additional .50 cents. At this point I'm losing my patience, but what am I gonna do, I respect the hustle but geeez. Charge me .50 cents to start with and put some tap water in my cup. I mean what kind of water were you giving away complimentary??? And there were cups there too. I attached a pic of my $1.50 water and cup of ice for reference. Feeling a lil bamboozled to say the least. Little stuff like this can def effect customer morale and I hope that the comp water makes a comeback, cuz I'd like to come back and support this place and not feel like I just got jack moved. Went to the new Quickly yesterday. They are still in their soft opening phase, so be patient! Not all items will be available til their Grand Opening in June. Also, hours vary right now. Lumpia = yummy Thai Iced Milk Tea = Yummy Taro Milk Tea = yummy (tasted like cotton candy to me) Popcorn chicken = a little spicy, but yummy! I have only been to a Quickly once or twice before, not knowing much about the plethora of drinks that they offer. But now that I have one close by, I will definitely be back to try more. read more
