After they closed down Diho the grocery store next to it and after so many other boba places opened up I'd have thought Quickly would be gone too. I used to go here about 10 years ago so this place hits home. Back then the milk tea, mango (or strawberry) slush were 99 cents. Nowadays it's about $1.10-$1.20 something. If you add boba or a jelly it'll be about $1.25-1.50. The milk tea doesn't taste like milk teas from other places around the area. It's more bitter as if it's iced coffee or they brew their tea stronger or have less milk. The milk teas and other places around the area are sweeter and milkier. It's just different. They use powder for most of their standard flavors from the menu. The only time I've witnessed them making drinks from fresh ingredients are when I've ordered one of the handwritten seasonal specials on the makeshift signs at the cash register. Quickly is one of the cheaper alternatives for boba in the area. I don't prefer it because I like the milkier sweeter versions at other places but that's a matter of preference that'll vary between people. read more

Quickly's has become my go to stop when I need a drink on a hot day running around. This is a great location, clean, nice staff and huge selection. I love the flavored teas as well as the slush and switch off depending on my mood. The prices are cheap, best value on a huge refreshing drink anywhere, lasts me through the rest of the day for less than $4, I'll be back! read more

There is only a few ways you can arrive to this place. You would have to be really lost to arrive at this destination. It is in a bad location where there is hardly any foot traffic that passes by. There is no way anyone can see that place unless they stop by Vietnam Garden... hahaha.. good luck with that too. I can see why everyone avoided this place and why it's so deserted when I came in. It was so filthy and unkempt. I don't need to wonder why nobody wants to come in. Looking at this place will tell why it's so hazardous. Some of those tables are not even cleaned... and no one is in there! The disappointing part of me ordering a milk tea was that I had a feeling it's was mixed with powder that was not dissolved completely. Then it is added with tap water. Came here with my friend a couple of weeks ago, and the while the milk tea with boba has gone up a little bit, its still way cheaper than tapioca express. The current cost is $1.09 with tax it ended up being $1.19. Still cheap, and I would still come here to just drink milk tea. By the way when are they going to redo this plaza? read more

This place is pretty creepy to me because it's in the corner of a very unappealing plaza, and there are creepy men sitting out front. We ordered milk tea, which was like $1...Watching them make the boba, I was expecting freshly made boba, but nope it was premade in their fridge thing and they just poured it in. I stumbled on to Quickly when visiting Littlie India Grill that is located in the same plaza, saw the advertised 99c Tapioca Milk Tea special ordered it and have been a semi-regular customer ever since. True to its name Quickly has most of its milk tea's pre-made and when you order it is quickly poured it into a cup, sealed and you are on your way. Of-course its cash only considering the miniscule ticket size of their typical orders. The milk tea itself is pretty good. It is definitely on the sweeter side but its not too sweet, the boba is a little hard and not the soft chewy types that you get at more upscale boba joints but it is manageable. Truthfully I have not tried any other drink or food item apart from their 99c Tapioca Milk (which by the way is now $1.10), so I cant comment on them but the special is good enough to keep me coming back for a post lunch drink. read more

I come here sometimes after eating dinner at Kim Tar in the same center and I'm frugal and too lazy to drive to Lollicup or Teastation. I always get the $1 tapioca milk tea, not expecting much. It always tastes like I'm drinkin watered down milk and hard, cold boba but sometimes the drink is actually decent. I probably would never come here if I wasn't eating at one of the restaurants in that center - I usually just come here for a (hopefully) sweet drink fix after dinner. Update: I found a verbose register person and got the scoop. Tapioca Milk 0.99 (boba included-aka milk tea) To add boba to any other drink 0.50 extra each. We will now return you to your normal programming. Like a shooting star, one disappeared tonight. During the day I can get a tapioca milk for $1.09 (after tax) but tonight I got 2 of the 0.99 drinks and it came to $2.77. Sometimes I have heard they charge 0.50 extra for boba, but the time I got the tapioca milk the boba was included for the total price. I'm feeling the russian roulette pricing change is going to stop me from coming here too often. But, even as iffy as pricing has been, each of these were still $1.385 each. Quickly's is a tiny and hidden boba place in the midsts of Artesia, bordering Cerritos. My friend and I come here when we need to get away from the city but need Asian food at the same time. The food is mediocre but cheap so it's worth it for the price you're paying for it. The beef noodle soup is what we always get but I wanted to try something different time time. I decided to order the peking noodles because I wanted something dry and it turned out to be delicious [plus cheap]! It was about 3-4 dollars for food I couldn't finish. It also made a great lunch. Anyway, the milk tea is 99 cents here so I think that pretty much cancels out everything I said since that's the most important thing about this place. P.S. They don't accept credit cards and the bank next door rapes you on service charges. I gotta be honest, my friend took me here to eat dinner cuz they have "the best beef noodles soup!". When i realized she was taking me to a Quickly I was instantly skeptical. Then I read the reviews on yelp and was grabbing for my keys to go home, pick up some chipotle on the way and never look back. But then i got distracted by the stuffed animal claw game and forgot what I was doing. Next thing you know I'm there's a bowl of noodles in front of me and MAN those noodles pack some flavor in them. We also got the pork chop noodles and I was blown away by the melt in your mouth deliciousness that ensued. The first bite was only surpassed by the last savory gnaw off the bone I took before blasting my taste buds with my favorite: taiwanese sausage. Now by no means is this the best food I EVER had but the surprise ninja attack on my flavor cortex these dishes gave me was definitely worth the $6 a bowl I paid for them. Okay I didn't pay, she did. My #1 spot for popcorn chicken and cheap boba. I've been coming here since high school and they have not disappointed me yet. The shop is quite small and the cashiers are very nice.
