When I am in the area, I come visit this place and visit the bakery right across the street from it (which as a really good 3-bean bun but they always run out so go early!) whenever I'm in Cerritos. Quickly has always been so friendly and their boba is pretty good too. Last time I was there, I went w/my grandma and my grandma isn't a big fan of boba and cold drinks, so I ordered a red bean slush w/boba. The lady was so nice about it - she made too much and put the extra in a cup for my grandma - service was nice and we found out that the old couple (owners) work from open to 12pm, so that's when you want to go. They make better tasting boba, give you more boba, and are very friendly (especially the wife). The drinks here are all very cheap - they have a special 99 cent deal, used to be 69 cent but 99 is cheap enough already (milk tea, mango slush? i forget now)! i've never had the food there, but it all smells and looks good - they have a good assortment of finger foods! read more

They get 2 stars because their boba drinks are decent and so is their food. However, service and knowledgeability of the staff is also very important in my eyes to ensure good business practices. I walk in, and haven't ever been to this particular Quickly before. I first ask the guy at the register about the drinks and he begins to answer me, then just ignores my question. I try to ask again, because maybe he just didn't hear me. He ignores me and states off into space. It made me feel like I wasn't speaking English or something. Very rude. I was the only one in there with my coworker and it felt like it was the slowest service ever. Another customer eventually came in, but he was ignored much like I was earlier. Most people go to Quickly's for their bubble tea. I come for their Beef Noodle Soup. My mom comes for their beef noodle soup. It's inexpensive and usually lasts me for two meals. It's not heaven in my mouth good but it's good enough. The beef and tendons are very tender and not hard or chewy. The the broth is very flavorful. The noodles are average. All in all a pretty decent bowl of beef noodle soup. Their passionfruit green tea is pretty good too. But, that's pretty hard to mess up. read more

This is the worst treatment I've ever gotten from a restaurant owner. I walked up to the counter to get some delicious popcorn chicken and stood there, waiting for someone to take my order, while the employees were doing the dishes, making tea, kitchen work and what not. I assumed they were busy so I stood there for a solid five minutes. It wasn't that much of an issue for me because I thought they'd get back to me after they were done making the food or cleaning the dishes. What pissed me off is that when one the employees finished washing the dishes, she went to the counter RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, took her keys and left the place. Now I'm thinking, "Are they doing this on purpose?" So I wait another couple minutes until I see the person before me take their food. As I expect the employee to turn around and face me, she turns away and goes into the kitchen and stays there. Fed up, I just left the place and here's the best part: Someone walks into the restaurant as I leave and the worker takes his order right away. This place is a joke. 10/10 recommend that they change their name because they're obviously not "quick". read more

I will echo other people and say that the people behind the counter are kinda nice. They're hospitable and seem genuinely concerned for your well being. Also, YES, you can get quite a large bag o spicy fried chicken bites for cheap. Thats where the perks end. Yes, its in the BACk of a strip mall away from traffic and there was NOBODY there when we came in at 9pm. We left the car unlocked the entire time we were there. The flavor assortment is kinda...lacking. Like I said, Im sure its cuz im used to thai and pho places that serve boba, that now their selection seems small to me. Like, they dont have that avocado slush, its avocado milk. Probably a nit pick, but then.. I order a thai tea and it seriously tasted like a milk tea with orange food coloring. I dont remember it ever tasting this way at a quickly, but there it was, a BLAND orange milk. not good. They forgot boba TWICE in the same drink. The lady sealed and resealed the drink but kept forgetting the boba. Not a huge problem but kept trying to get us to re-pay for the boba she didnt put in WTF? They're not willing to stamp on stamp cards that you didnt order boba on. We ordered 3 drinks, 2 had boba and she only gave 1 stamp. She wanted to argue about it to but then caved in when it was about to escalate. Yes, its a petty thing but why would she withold a stamp so vigorously? I used to frequent many a quickly, but I just dont anymore. Its really sad that its on the decline, I love the broken english website, the grotesque orange coloring, the taiwanese magazines, but Im really unsure about its future. They have good side dishes to munch on, so far i've tried: -french fries (like any other deep fried french fries, good but bad for your health) -popcorn chicken ( i hesitate on getting this sometimes cause its like gambling, 50% of the time you know theyre chicken is fresh and the other 50% you can just taste that its been sitting in the fridge/freezer for awhile) -combination platter (calamari, popcorn chicken, shrimp balls, etc) Good environment to come and chill with your friends and i have yet to try their other dishes. read more

I love the fried tofu here. Popcorn chicken is pretty good. Orders can take a while sometimes, so I've gotten used to it (fried tofu is worth the wait). I usually come here for the cheap milk tea prices but it they raised the price a little (still a good deal though). I'd say my only issue, other than the wait time, is that the portions for popcorn chicken are different each time i get it. The workers are nice, with the exception of the chef. He gave me a little attitude once when it was just him that day, but I'll take it as him having a bad day. If you haven't already, definitively try their fried tofu! read more

During those early high school summer breaks, this was go to spot to get my boba fix. When you're freshman on a budget and with no job, the 2$ milk tea comes in handy. I remember I would always come directly here after I do my night time run at artesia park. The milk tea and smoothies were so and so but you get what you pay for. They always serve snacks like popcorn chicken and French fries. I would sometimes order the fries also and I remember them being better than the other places near my house. It's been awhile since I had the drinks but recently I dropped by for lunch. I ordered the chicken and rice meal and it definitely filled me up for the value of like 5$. You want cheap, quick boba milk tea? This is it. I've been coming here for many years now and it's one of the most delicious teas I ever had. Not too sweet, not watery and you can actually taste the tea. Their Taiwanese sausage is pretty good and popcorn chicken is amazing. Price was average. I got a large Thai Tea, with boba, no ice (so they give me more tea if I get no ice). My total was $3.76 exactly. For a regular it would have been $3.06. For a regular without boba it would been like $2.50 or something like that. Don't let that sign confuse you. They do have tapioca tea for like $1.50 but that's it. And even then that is without the boba. It's not the best boba here but it's for the price it's still good and it's cheaper than many of the boba places here in town. Your cheap pick-me-up!!! Milk Tea & their Sesame Slush (Milk/Tea option) are always my favorite!! Prefer their milk teas over Dolphin Bay's b/c they aren't as sweet / filling. But it is still worth your money. This location is more of a hole-in-the-wall place, has 5 to 6 tables and is home to regulars who consistently come out of familiarity, and possibly boredom. This place may be hard to locate at first because it's way in the back of the plaza. But this could actually be a convenient thing because it allows people to lounge around and rot in the parking lot, not to close to the main streets. I see this place as almost a Chinese snack shop. Nothing too amazing, but still worth the cheap prices, convenience, and simplicity. The owners are also very nice. But a down side is that most, of their drinks are made from powders. So if you're not into that, you'll most likely not like watching them pour the powders out, etc. and make the drink in front of you.
