Leland and Manny were fantastic to work with -- honest, responsive, and incredibly detail‑oriented. The crew was professional, fast, and left my property spotless. The new roof looks beautiful, and the fence is solid, straight, and perfectly built. It's rare to find a company that combines craftsmanship, integrity, and great communication, but Veteran Built truly does. I'm thrilled with the results and would absolutely hire them again.

The quality of work was excellent, completed on time, and I felt the price was more than fair for the work done. His crew was respectful of my property and cleaned up completely when done, not leaving any debris behind for my trash. We've actually had two big storms since the repairs were done and my roof is still in excellent condition. I can't recommend Leland and his team enough!

Initially, I loved Darren and RGC but after about 6 months of the flat roof replacement, the issues…read morebegan to persist. The roof is not sloped nor has even the slightest pitch and so we effectively have a swimming pool on our roof. The leaks have continued for a year or so now while RGC did come out to "fix" the issues initially, the shotty work has caused significant issues and has impacted the well being and health of multiple people, including my child who is an infant. We have now had to relocate temporarily while we have the water damaged dry wall and insulation removed, as well the entire roof replaced. It was certainly not worth the price that RGC quoted nor the hassle of continuing to work with them. We tried our best to work with them for repeat issues but the volume of issues and pervasiveness of the issues far outweighs any benefit and demonstrates the lack of quality that RGC offers. I would highly encourage anyone reading to not use them for any type of roof repairs or replacements. A five year roof shouldn't be disintegrating in less than a year. We have had multiple roofing companies come and inspect their work and all of which came to the same conclusion, poor services rendered and complete shock on how old the roof is. I certainly recognize that a flat roof would retain water in some areas as it is flat; however, this can be counteracted by appropriately sloping and pitching the roof, as well as using quality materials and experienced personnel. It's unfortunate, truly. The roof is now about 2.5 years at this point, RGC seemed to get more serious and responsive to the issues once other parties got involved. So I can't knock them for responsiveness after the fact. I have all of the documented correspondence and picture/video evidence if RGC would like to dispute this information as inaccurate as it's pretty damming. At the very least, they should accept accountability for this extremely poor service and seek the appropriate course of action. Edit on 9/19/2023: I wanted to provide a little bit more information. The roof was initially replaced in September 2020, within a month RGC was called back out for repairs because water was leaking through the roof. RGC was great to work with at this point but as the months and years went by it just became worse. I found some images online of RGC promoting/advertising the roof replacement back in September-October 2020 which is what it is, since there weren't pervasive issues up to the point. But there's an April 2023 video of the same photos/videos dating back to the 2020 period that one of the owners of RGC has up which is wild, because they are well aware of everything dating back to 2020 and posting it as if the roof is even mildly salvageable is beyond me. You get what you pay for, remember that.

Save yourself the headache. Brock is the definition of unprofessional, unreliable, and…read moreinconsistent. I was referred to Brock by a close friend and realtor when I first bought my home. I needed a drywall repair before moving in, and she recommended him. Brock and his crew came out and completed the job. We exchanged numbers, and I told him I'd reach out for future projects. And I did multiple times. I hired him to replace my kitchen faucet, bathtub showerhead, tub stoppers, and even a toilet seat. Most recently, I paid him to do a wall paneling project and paint my walls. No issues driving to my home then when he was being paid. Fast forward to me reaching out about the same drywall he originally repaired it's now cracked and clearly wasn't done properly. Brock came out, looked at it, and said he'd take care of it. Since then? Nothing but dodged calls, broken promises, and a month of being strung along. Eventually, he told me my home was "TOO FAR" (a 47-minute drive, mind you) and that I should find someone else. But somehow, that drive wasn't too far when he was cashing checks for every other project I paid him for. Interesting. I even reached out to my friend the same one who referred him to let her know how unprofessional this situation had become. She spoke to Brock directly, and he told her he had nothing but nice things to say about me and that he'd be calling me to schedule the repair. That was over a week ago. Still nothing. No call. No follow-up. Just more avoidance. Brock had no issue taking my money when it benefited him, but the moment the work required accountability, suddenly I became "TOO FAR" and not worth the follow-through. This kind of behavior is why people are hesitant to trust contractors. Brock clearly doesn't value integrity, communication, or repeat clients. If you want someone who stands behind their work and actually respects your time look elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone.

We originally selected our own materials from a retail outlet but after visiting Allgood Remodeling and Construction's showroom, we found exactly what we were looking for, which made for an extremely competitive estimate. In our living area and stairway, they installed porcelain tile and laminate flooring, respectively. In our back yard, they built a large finished and shingled pergola and in our kitchen, they installed new cabinets, granite counter tops and tiled backsplash. Each portion of the work, from demolition to the finishing touches, was carried out timely and efficiently and the workmanship was outstanding. Adam and Jason were great. They explained everything, the products and materials, process and schedule, we were informed every step of the way. Jason was there every day to provide oversight, answer questions, and ensure the job was done right, which was INVALUABLE. If something came up, he was there to ensure any issues were IMMEDIATELY resolved. They 100% delivered on their commitment and they did so for an extremely fair and affordable price. We will happily utilize their services again for future home improvement projects.
