If I could put 0 stars i would! My HP laptop crashed, and I was in need of a backup of my hard drive. I brought it to quick fix and asked them to back it up to an external drive. when i tried replacing the drive in the computer, i couldn't find where it fit (I am pretty tech savvy, and i had replaced the hard drive a few times on my own with no difficulty). I then realized that all the adapters, and adapter cables used to connect the 2 hard drive to the motherboard where missing! the computer was not touched between the time i brought it there, and the moment i opened it up. Now i am trying to sell the computer, and i can't because not only does it have issues starting up, but now i can't even put a hard drive in it. It's a sunday, my friend was coming over to pick it up, and now i look like an idiot telling him he's going to have to wait until i go back there and ask for my cables back! Update!!! very professional! about 2 hours after having posted the review, i got a call from quick fix, with sincere apologies about what happened. they asked me to come it tomorrow, and try to see what may have happened, and how it can be resolved. This shows real professionalism, and for that, i do believe i would come back if i had another problem. read more

According to Murphy's Law, my laptop seized to work this morning when I had a presentation to go to. I went to Quick Fix in hope to get at least my files out. I was greeted by a technician who I believe was the owner. He was very understanding of my situation and immediately began to help me. He started looking into the laptop and taking it apart. He took it to back and five minutes later he came out not just with the files I was hoping to get but with the laptop turned on and running normal. He saved me from all the extra work of moving the files and trying to do it on a different laptop. I was very happy at this point and on top of this he refused to charge me for the service. Great job on their professionalism , quick service, and knowledge. I hope they do charge customers so they can be around if I need them again. P.S. Apparently they just moved to a new location but my phone navigation app led me to their original place which is two blocks away. read more

I know a lot of about PC hardware and software myself but I don't always have time to debug or to open up the laptop case... so when my laptop blue-screened I was going to just find a computer repair place to simple take out the hard-drive for me and maybe copy the data. I was ready to sacrifice my system drive. I found QuickFix via Yelp which is close to where I live. They also offer free diagnosis if you are not under time pressure. They did the diagnosis the next day and told me it was an software issue and they could reinstall the OS for me and i will be able to see my data drive again. But to my pleasant surprise a few days later they were able to fix/reboot my computer without even wiping out the OS and the other installed programs, saving me a lot of time. They didn't charge me extra even and their price was good. I would highly recommend them if you have a computer issue. read more

I just wanted to recommend the services of QuickFix in Mountain View. I had a seriously infected laptop that had a major impact on performance and would not allow the laptop to backup. I went to QuickFix on a recommendation and I am glad that I did. I had spent hours trying to fix the problems myself and to no avail. Any relief was short lived. I was on the verge of a new laptop purchase. I contacted them by email and they made several recommendations as to what to do. When those didn't help, I brought the laptop to them. I spoke with Rami at QuickFix and he assured me they could fix the problem, They did so in two days and my laptop hasn't worked this well in years. ALL OF THE PROBLEMS WERE FIXED. This place rocks! The nicest guys, took really great care of us and did not overcharge. I took my Dell latitude D820 as it was not turning because of failure of videochip.....Never charged me anything for the diagnostic, which most placing were asking for $70-$90. Gave me the call and told me what was wrong with my laptop and how much would cost. The best thing was, that they never push the me on the point that i should get the repair done from them. Which I really appreciate and respect. ! Quick fix took care of it in a matter of hours and only cost us $140 :) gave it in the afternoon and going to pick in the evening, that was awesome, no waste of time. definitely going to recommend to my friends with any computer problems, and I will be back :) thanks guys! read more

Submitted my Laptop for free diagnostic for some intermittent startup issues. No response from them for 3 days. When I reached shop on the 4th day, they started looking into it. They gave me 2 options , first to replace motherboard (which would cost me more than the laptop amount) and second option that they would try with some other chip which would need 5-6 more days without any assurance that it will be surely fixed. I asked them to return the laptop as I have to travel in next 2 days. After reaching home, when I started using my laptop, I found multiple issues which I wasn't experiencing before like headphone jack not working, machine getting restarted at any point of time, etc read more

Taz was the individual who helped me and boy was he fast! I brought my computer in on a Monday and got it back on a Wednesday. I originally took it to Apple to which they told me it woud take about a week and they would keep my old, non-backed up hard drive. They told me that it would cost be $1,000-$5,000 to get my data back but Taz did it for no extra charge.I got ALL of my stuff back from my previous hard drive! I was extremely satisfied with his customer service, and I could tell he was there to get me the best deal possible. My computer was also filthy and he cleaned it. It looks brand new. I brought my new laptop in to fix the problem of not being able to sign into Windows. Oscar was able to diagnose and fix the problem in 30 minutes, which was what I had hoped they would do because of their good reviews and my past experience with their customer service. But then I had to bring the PC back the next day because I couldn't connect to internet. Oscar said the OS is corrupted and he had to restore it to the original condition when I bought the PC. I'm hoping everything is fixed. If not I know Oscar will take care of t for me. I trust these guys. read more

I got two of my phones repaired from this shop. They are a great to talk to and to explain and clarify all of your doubts. Labor charge is reasonable around $50 for a phone, depending on the situation. If they couldn't repair the phone they won't charge you (similar to all big phone repair companies).
