Came to visit for the first time at this location. It is unorganized waiting room and so many people. Most of patients don't speak English, so they should have one person in the waiting room to help patients! read more

Cool check in now. They'll text you and ypu can check in in your car and you can wait in your car until they tell you to come in. I checked in my car, it said check in complete then a few minutes later I was called in. That was quick, safe and was put there in less than 15 minutes! They have free parking too read more

I visited this location and I was impressed!! Marissa helped me and she was very professional, understanding, and you could tell that she actually cares about you. They should hire more people like her! I was waiting for an official survey request from quest lab but I have not received a link to survey, therefore I want to say that she made my visit very smooth. The type of care she provided was amazing! read more

This Quest office is in a medical building next door to Van Nuys Hospital. The building has signs requiring masks, as does the office itself. The three people in the waiting room were NOT wearing masks, as well as the UPS driver dropping off a package. I asked the staff about this (they were wearing masks) and they said Quest DOES NOT ALLOW them to force clients to wear masks. NEVER GOING BACK THERE. read more

Wait time was 45 minutes with an appointment! There was at least 20 people waiting in waiting room. After we were told to check in an employee comes out and kicks everyone "who doesn't have a chair " out of the waiting room. The phlebotomist took forever once in. She was huffing and puffing the entire time while processing my order! This place doesn't have enough employees for the number of appointments booked! Horrible experience read more

Just went here for the first time!! I do get squeamish with the thought of getting your blood drawn haha. Luckily, Lupe & Shayna (I believe that's how it's spelled) helped me out so much!! :) lupe was super friendly and helpful and so was her partner!! I appreciate them both for enlightening me and making me laugh too!! Also.. everyone please wear a mask and respect the workers read more

This place should be closed! I have been going there for many years and it was terrific, but I have not been there in over a year. Now this location is terrible from A to Z. First, I started writing 0 star review while sitting and waiting for 45 minutes to be seen. The window was shut down and the door was locked. There were two phlebotomists on duty and one person in front of me. In the mean time two other patients came in. I asked on of the phlebotomists how long will I wait, since there is no one here? She was rude and said "appointments first". Then finally the other phlebotomist took me in. She was semi courteous and I felt like she tried to make up so I wouldn't raise any complaints. I thought to myself, I will delete my review, 45 minutes waste of time but getting it done. WRONG. It has been 10 days, I have not gotten my CBC results, Called 866 number, got nowhere. Couldn't speak to supervisor, customer service etc! I was told that the location probably lost my blood sample and I was not billed. So partial lab came in but the main one did not. Do I trust the partial? NOT! Never again will I go there. read more

Writing this review for my husband . I asked him to rate his experience and how he was treated I made an appointment for him online , It went through and he showed up to his appointment. He said after his blood was was drawn he felt his arm hurt. At first it looked like a light bruise and he couldn't lift up his arm . He felt uncomfortable since he had to drive for work . The next day the bruise was bigger and painful . And it lasted for more than 2 weeks . Please to the ones who draw out blood , be more cautious and careful with the patients. We know young people want to get experience but teach them how so we could all feel at ease when getting a blood drawn . Thank you for understanding. read more

Unfriendly staff who probably hate their work Just cold as ice. Would it kill you to smile. I think they were efficient as far as giving me the tests I needed but other than that a bad vibe read more

I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I walked-in with no appointment. Keep in mind, mornings are full of people who fasted and want to come early to be able to eat breakfast after bloodwork. They take a break for lunch so time accordingly. I paid out of pocket using a third party site called Personalab, who utilizes Quest because my medical is Kaiser and they're asses about providing lab work for outside purposes. I got more than 4 tests done for 250 bucks. Not bad. Directions+Parking:Make a left onto Sherman circle. It isn't the first building in the front. I would recommend parking in the parking structure behind the first building. The Quest is located on the first floor in suite 101 near the Pharmacy. I used personalabs to book/pay for my lab work. Made me able to just come in and give them my first and last name. No forms to fill because I already did so online. They were more than able to accommodate my lab requests : CBC, CMP, HIV, All the Hepatitis panels, etc. The phlebotomist was sweet and efficient at her job. No complaints there. read more

I have been here pre-covid and the staff was wonderful, but today I went to get my bloodwork done and it was so bad I walked out. Literally, I would rather die of some undiagnosed disease than deal with all the hoops you have to jump through to get blood drawn here. I tried to make an appointment on the phone but the number was automated and it wouldn't let me make an appointment for that location. When I got there, the parking lot was blocked on the enter side by the gate, so I drove around but the parking around the front was for compact cars only and very tiny. I drive a mid-size car so I couldn't squeeze in anywhere without trapping other drivers. I finally followed someone into the parking lot through the out lane, and risked getting hit by oncoming cars. The office didn't have a sign, just a piece of paper outside on the wall. I had to ask the pharmacy if they moved. There was a line of 12 people outside and the door was locked. Some of the people said they'd been there for about 2 hours, just standing there in the hallway. There were no chairs. I knocked on the door and a guy said we had to wait. I had been there before so I asked if we could at least have some chairs because some of the people were elderly or sick, and I had been working all night before I got there in the morning. He said no. I asked how long we had to wait and he said he didn't know. About five minutes later he let everyone else in, but said I had to wait. I assume it was because I spoke up about the lack of chairs. 4 other people came to knock on the door and he let all of them in. 20 minutes later, he let me in. Everyone from the original line was sitting in a chair. He called all of them and the people who came after me before he called me. Finally, 30 minutes after I arrived, I got sent to the back, and they asked if I had fasted for 12 hours. I had never been told to fast, but that was the fault of my own doctor's office, not them. She said I would have to fast and come back on Monday. I told her it's impossible since I work overnights Monday to Friday. I can't fast and do a physically strenuous job all night. I do schoolwork on the weekends and they aren't open then anyway. She said I'd have to wait for a day off. I told her I would rather get sick and die than spend my only day off every two weeks getting jerked around by her power-tripping doorman and fasting for a blood test. Screw it. This is the third time I've regretted going to the doctor. Being sick is easier than dealing with health care. read more

This is the absolute worst testing center, with unprofessional, uncompassionate, rude staff. They refuse appointments, they yell at their customers, they go home early locking the doors. This place is the same an embarrassment of quest diagnostics corporation. This place should be closed forever and everyone should get fired. Don't ever come here if you value your health and sanity. read more

No window for customer service. They sealed off the one they had so they dont have to intereact with anyone

I have never been to a medical office that has such a rude front girl. She was on her phone the whole time. I had to help a lady with her daughter to help check in while she just sat there(not even my job but the girl just sat there and did nothing thats why im posting this cuz it was irritating that i had to help her when im assuming thats what she is in the front for) . Than an elderly couple came in asked for help and all she told them was you see the questions answer them. Honestly how do you guys have a front girl with such a horrible personality. You guys should have someone with a more professional personality and at least someone who is more welcoming to your patients. I see all the reviews here but what I just saw and experienced is one of the most unprofessional experiences experienced ever specially towards the elderly couple who asked for help. I don't need an automatic response like the one you guys provide to all the other bad reviews that you will contact management team. You guys really need to go into this location and see for yourselves. On side note your girls inside the ones actually working are super friendly and professional. read more

Rude employees. Came as a walk in. I knew I had to wait longer without an appointment. I was fine with it. After an hour of waiting one of the techs came out and all I wanted to ask her was if I could use the restroom and she looked and me and closed the door in my face. Lovely read more

I would not take my dog to quest next to north ridge hospital. I was treated like a piece of meat, the so called attendant jabbed in the wrist, which was not necessary did not realize I was bleeding from the wrist until I got in my car, also they do not use a stretch bandage only the piece of gauze and a strip of scotch tape which fell off before I got in my car . The hours say they are open to 5:00 pm. There's a note on the door that say they now close at 4:30 effective February 2022. The hours on the internet say until 5:00 and the recording says until 5:00. My husband had to rush at work to make it by 5:00 for a very important blood test. Now he has to go Monday and hope the blood work comes back in time for his surgery. Thanks Quest Labs. read more

0 Stars If I could! Went in today to get my bloodwork done & the lady who brought me in was EXTREMELY RUDE her name was Vanessa. I called her out for not paying attention to my orders, and when she was proven wrong went back and gave the NASTIEST attitude, 0 compassion even after she was not doing HER job properly. The location was on (Sherman Way suite 101, VAN NUYS CA.) avoid her if possible. read more

What is this? The signature of a professional named Ana R. you'd never know I had blood taken today from the looks of things here. So calm, so smooth and so reassuring I felt completely relaxing under her steady procedure. We talked about how I prepped for the morning, what I drank, ate and prepared myself for the extensive testing my doctor had sent me for. She was ready with a compliment and that made me feel good. For a Senior I cannot tell you what it means to have the younger generation cheer us on because more often than not we look to our peers to do that. So kudos to her for that!! A big thank you to Quest for employing such a fine young person as a phlebotomist in your Van Nuys location to serve that community she is your asset. I look to her to lead your team to success in the future as she truly is a super star in the making. Don't miss seeing this one Quest she sets the bar for you!! Thank you Ana R for making this senior's day, today. Keep going!! read more

My first time here and went here for blood work. I went 15 minutes early and after checking my temperature the lady asked me to check in then have a sit. I entered the confirmation code that I received when I scheduled my appointment, and didn't need to do anything else as I already prefilled the papers online. There were 3 ladies in front of me but I was in within 10 minutes and out in 5 minutes. The lady that took my blood was very gentle and she was a pro. I can't recall her name but she had long curly hair and glasses. she was very sweet and talkative ! The parking was alittle busy but I'm sure there are more parking spots available if you go further down read more

Rude staff. I had been here before had a great experience. Came back today for simple blood work that I had done here a month prior. Staff informed me I would actually have to sit here for an hour after drinking a drink to have blood work. I told her I had an appt upstairs if I can take it and come right back she said no! I told her I had this same thing done a month prior and they allowed me to go to my appt upstairs. All she said was no no with a rude attitude. I understand they have policies but I was literally in the same building going to a doctor appt. I had done it before. Just overall horrible staff! Won't be coming back! read more

It was my first time to this location, always been deathly afraid of needles but today I finally did a blood draw that didn't require the little "butterfly " needle. Been to the Van Nuys branch on Sherman Way several times, and have never had a bad experience. My favorite tech is Aralia. So efficient. Temperatures taken upon check in, check in was easy and just scanned my QR code, easy building parking, and kind and efficient staff. 100 percent recommend! Our appointment is 3pm but still had to wait over an hour... because they are short staffed. Clearly they overbooked. Shouldn't they have canceled people's appointments in anticipation of being short staffed? I noticed that the staff were also not the usual people. They used to be so efficient.. when the Philippino staff was working here. Management must have changed hands. I hope this is not going to repeat in the future or we are looking for another lab. Turns out they supposedly had only two phlebotomists and the regular staff people were getting surgery so they're out of commission .... Come on! The whole damn staff getting surgery! That's BS! Its a combination of poor management which there is none and slow employees. read more

Lacking a receptionist and adequate staff this facility misinformed me regarding wait times and then closed the doors on me prior to 4:30 closing time. This was the most unprofessional medical lab I have ever encountered. They did better in the past but have been going steadily down hill for a few years. I will try other Quest Diagnostics facilities to see if the chain has maintained or lost its integrity. Sad that this place has fallen from its prior efficacy. read more

In and out in a jiffy, and the nurse didn't have to poke me six times to get my blood. She got three vials done in like 6 seconds.

I think the one star I gave them is too generous, but it is the minimum allowed by the software. Quest's customer service team is beyond incompetent and frustrating. The most arrogant front desk so unprofessional, the provider didn't say we need to schedule appointment otherwise we would have, my dad walks-in at @4:30 pm they weren't busy at all and the front lady sai Oh No we cant see you,You needed and appointment we explain to her we had spoken to some one earlier and told us to just walk in, we begged her to please see us since my dad had got out of work early and to please see him she said oh no my son is waiting for me outside and i have to go and just close the door at us. My husband took my daughter to NEVH to get blood drawn for testing about something we are concern about. I get a call back from NEVH claiming that Quest ended up cancelling our little girl's blood test all because they made a mistake. What kind of parent wants to hear that their child will have to get blood drawn again all because of unprofessional staff who obviously don't care about patients. Now we have to do this all over again like it's some kind of joke ! Would you like having your blood drawn more than 4 times again all because of staff's mistake ? read more

I made a same-day online appt for 430p on a Friday. I waited about 15min to be seen. Yesenia was SO nice and also had a good sense of urgency that made you feel like a priority. She was juggling lots of tasks (intake, paperwork, drawing blood herself, etc) but did it with a smile. She seemed to remember regular patients by face and name. Parking was easy and free, although the unit itself was a bit tough to find from the North building, without much signage. Lab was really clean. It made an experience I was dreading not so bad. Definitely not what I expected. read more
