I had a smooth and prompt experience this morning. I arrived at 7am and went in through the main entrance as Yelp reviewers have said to do. I went right to the automated kiosk and signed in, as Yelp reviewers have said to do. There were only four or five people ahead of me (I guess they opened the doors before 7:00) and the Quest people started calling people right away. The woman who drew my blood was fast and skillful. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is that my experience was so smooth, me knowing where to go in and where to sign in, not because these things were clearly indicated at the Quest facility but because I had read all the Yelp reviews on this page. read more

The service is good. The place is nice and spanking new. They now do walk in again. Be advised they close from 12-1 and mean it. They are located at the end of the parking lot. You go in through the urgent care door and hang a right and they are on the left. The best thing about coming to this location is the awesome Stater Brothers market in the center. It is over one acre inside and worth the stop. read more

Best Quest Diagnostics I have EVER been too. Clean, new comfortable, fast and competent staft. Quest is inside the Hoag Medical Center but def will come back for any other lab work. read more

Quest Diagnostics - Check in and seating - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Tustin, California

Getting blood work done is never fun...but at least it's bearable at this brand new Quest Diagnostics location! It's located inside the new Hoag Hospital campus at the Tustin Legacy shopping center. There's plenty of parking and the facilities are clean. Staff is very friendly as well and they do their best to make you comfortable. This location does take walk-ins but I highly recommend making an appointment online! Glad to have this new location for all my blood work needs haha read more

Do not go to quest labs because they do not honor appointments. They allow walk-ins as well as appointments. I had an appointment at 11:45 and was required to fast for 12 hours, I was told to wait for one hour even though I had an appointment, which I have to make many days before. It is quite evident that quest labs does not have the necessary staff to take care of the increased number of walk ins. We are in many people waiting and many of them were disturbed, angry, and complaining. My advice is to go elsewhere. Quest is over booking. Their website encourages walkins as well as appointments. The problem is not the staff. The problem is that the office is understaffed. Quest is making its patients wait for an hour when they have an appointment, Rather than have The correct number of lab tecs to serve the over flow of walk-ins read more

After the confusing and frustrating experience I had with another location, I went into this Lab in Tustin near the District. The location is clean and very well-spaced. The nurse greeted me right away and I was able to check in immediately. I was called in right around my appointment time and the nurse who drew my blood was friendly, professional and efficient with minimal needle pain. (I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to needles.) The whole process took less than 10 minutes and I'm glad I came to this location. When I walked in, a woman cut me off as I was asking a question to the staff to complain loudly about how long she's waited and that walk-ins should not be treated the way she was being treated, meaning having to wait. She continued to shout that she had been coming to Quest for 15 years and that the restrictions caused by COVID should not matter for her. I admire the calm and professional way the staff responded to this unreasonable outburst. Yes, current situation sucks, but don't come into a medical office without an appointment and expect to be taken in right away, or demand to be seen ahead of those who come in with an appointment and crowd the waiting room. read more

So awful! I checjed in online at 11:45 and the electronic screen not the person at the desk said anything about my placement, but I see in thee screen 12 min. Then hoes down to 2 min, then goes to 6, then to 8, then to 24, and constantly bounces up and down for 45 min. I wait at the desk for 15 min and I one there. I knock at the door throughout the 15 min, no answer. Finally someone comes out aardvark says not sorry for your wait but you knew you were a walk-in and after everybody else with appointments (huh? Didn't say anything by the check in machine or person). I've been patient to the point. She said it would be at least 15 min more, again huh? There were two people there when I first got there for 20 minutes. I finally left so frustrated! If short off staff or lunch needed, then please let us know! This is not the way to treat customers. read more

My experience was great. I was worried because of all the negative reviews. My appointment was a Friday at 10:30. I was sent a text to confirm when I arrive. I arrived at 10:25 and confirmed via text. By 10:28 (early) they called me back, and I was done at 10:38. Best blood draw I've ever had! read more

The Quest Tustin facility is the place to go if you want the, ("it's not my job attitude") or if you need an appointment somewhere in this life time, at least while your still alive. Next time skip the disappointment of the Tustin facility and go directly to Quest facility in Orange, nice people, no wait time, very efficient. read more

Made a Appointment online a couple weeks ago. Nice building. Plenty of parking. Employees were very professional and courteous. No issues at all. Wait time was minimal. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. New location, but staff doesn't want to work. The attitude is horrible and they make you feel like you're a burden when you should be treated like a patient that's obviously there for health reasons. There's no regard for the importance of the test or why you're there. Management needs to pay attention to the staff they hire and fix their bad attitudes! read more

Utter and absolute disrespect for patients patient time. The online appt line is frustrating inefficient and disrespectful of patients. After ten minutes on the phone I neither have an appt nor service. As a walk-in he 12 min wait has gone up and down at the moment has been over 30 minutes and counting. There are no people at the desk on the phone W etc. and then they want your credit card to bill arbitrarily. Yeah right! Good luck if they charge you wrong. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I've now tried to actually have my appointment twice, and needed to leave both times because there was no way I was being seen due to wait times (over an hour WITH an app). I've never had an issue like this with other Quest Locations, they need to get their sh!t together. read more

My go to lab! I've written an older review a while ago, but I decided to make another one because of the changes they made during covid. I debated on making an appointment or not since I usually just walk in, but I'm glad I did this time. You can set up an appointment online, add in some extra information for check in, and when you get to the location you can wait for a text that's ready for you to come in. On the day of I got a text with a link that lets me check in 15 min prior, and I had the option to wait in the car or in the lobby. So I waited in my car. When I went last week Dec apparently the lobby waiting room was for people with appointments only. If you're walk in you just check in at the kiosk and provide your number for them to text/call when they're ready, and then wait outside/car. I would just ask if this is still the case later on. I got a text saying I could come in less than 10 min after. Walked through the main entrance, got my temp scanned, made a sharp right and went towards the lab. Didn't need to use the kiosk since I added extra information while scheduling an appointment, just went straight to the desk. That's pretty much the only difference! read more

horrible. outrageous prices. rude staff. awful service. waste of time to work with these guys

Came in without an appointment and was seen quickly. Staff was nice and the facility was clean.

Quest has this entire online appointment and check-in system, which is great. I made the appointment, entered my information, and even gave them all of my insurance information. When I got to the location, I checked in on my phone and it told me I had the option to wait in my car, again, great because this is firing Covid-19 times. I get a text and am asked stop come in o my to find that they need to "verify" my insurance card and ID... What's the point of the online rigamarole then? Then, I have to wait in their waiting room anyway. What the heck is the point of all of the online stuff if it's going to be negated by having to do it again? Such as waste of time. read more

Wow. In and out in less than 45 minutes without an appointment! That even included waiting for my doc to resend the lab slip. The woman at the front desk was sweet and efficient. Thanks to Marta for getting into my crappy vein and getting a good flow. read more

Debra is very kind to me and others. She offered help to elderly who had trouble checking in. She also paid lots attention to my 2 hours long test. Others are also very cheerful and helpful. I saw them helped several elderly setting up appointment on site or refereed them to other locations with same day appointment. Overall, it was very pleasant and easy to get tested in this location.Just has to make sure you make an appointment online correctly. read more

So bad! The tech obviously had no experience drawing blood from a child. Why not find someone else on staff who can handle this? Instead of torturing the child by digging the needle around in their arm until you could find that vein? Gross incompetence. On top of that when we first got there the tech read off a bunch of erroneous information, mixing up my child's birthday with the current date. And now my child is traumatized about getting bloodwork done again. Maybe if you offer pediatric draws, make sure you have staff who can handle this. I am sickened by this whole experience. read more

Do NOT bring your babies here! They are not good with kids or with drawing their blood. My 1 yr old's blood squirted across the lab like a fountain because the phlebotomist flinched. read more

Insufficient location information in Quest's appointment reminder email, nearly impossible to get through to someone to speak to over the phone when you have a question you need answered, rude front desk receptionist. Really disappointing experience here, made an appointment a week before and checked in with the code sent. Sat for twenty minutes AFTER my appointment time and watched two walk ins get their blood drawn before me. Was told by the receptionist that I didn't "check in" when I told her I most certainly did she had me try again she tells me "that scanner doesn't work you should have had a message telling you so"!!!! You couldn't have posted a note on the machine saying that? Also, get here at least 10 minutes early and be checked in by that time otherwise you'll get kicked into the walk in cue, yet nothing on the e-mail confirming my appointment stated that. read more

Very fast and the lady was very nice and professional. I got my blood work done here and it didn't hurt at all.

This 5-star review is for Bridget who is a rock star phlebotomist. Bridget was professional, gentle, kind and achieved the best result possible with my idiosyncratic circulatory system. Unfortunately, this location has deteriorated since the original opening last year and has assumed the typical Quest Diagnostics model, including subpar staffing, long wait times, and billing issues. read more

Went to their Location on Newport Boulevard in TUSTIN since their website gave that address. I found out that they had moved to 1500 Kensington which is well and good because they have a sign in the lobby. Drove over to Kensington and there are no signs anywhere for quest diagnostics. If you go to their website it does not show anything and the address is for the entire center which is comprised of seven or eight different buildings. Once we found the place inside the hospital urgent care they were closed for lunch. Quest please get it together and get a website that is up-to-date and a voicemail system that you can actually talk to a human being. Now that I've wasted an hour and my son can't eat for another hour I will come back and waste another hour. read more

my family and friends always go to Irvine locations in the past and always have good experiences. Due to COVID 19 Irvine locations don't offer Saturday hours so we found the Kensington tustin location. But we were very disappointed and will never come back. Even though you have appointment after check in they still let you wait outside in your car. The waiting area is big and empty but they don't allow you sit there. While we waited in the car for longer than expected time but still not get their message notice, we went in to check what is going on, the rude front lady said she texted us already. Since we missed the time slot, we will need to wait as walk in or reschedule. We asked how long is the second waiting. She said any time. I don't understand how they handle this, so unprofessional. Worst experience in my life. Horrible receptionist! read more

They supposed to open at 7:00am. 10 of us waited outside in line and no one showed up. We tried to call but no one answered, 30 mins late of the opening time, the staffs came and said their manager didn't show up and they can't even get in. This is my first time here, and I had the worst experience, this is not professional at all! read more

I cannot tell you what a delight it was to have Veronica as the person who drew my blood. I do not like needles and am uncharacteristically nervous when getting blood drawn. She ROCKED IT -- was incredibly gentle, completely communicative in a way that made me feel comfortable, and very professional. And she's sweet!!! Going forward, I will not hesitate for a second to get blood drawn by Veronica. read more

I've waited more than 2 hours, waiting time kept on changing & worst part they don't have my doctor's order when it was already faxed coz their fax machine is not working.
