I accidently went to a nearby Labcorp so I was 15 minutes late for my 12:15 appointment. When I got there, the place was empty and the attendant told me I'm only allowed to be 10 minutes late for an appointment so they would not be able to take me. Of course I was shocked -- I asked her to please show some mercy since I was only 5 minutes past the allowed time.....and then some one else came over. Now nowhere on any document that I received did it state that your appointment would be lost if you were 15 minutes late! The other employee that came over said - "no, it's our lunch time". I said that there was no one else there -- couldn't she please just take me now. She replied "No -- it would take an hour to complete the process" I have a lot of health issues and it's not easy for me to just "go to a different location and wait in line" as was suggested by the second employee. I could not believe how cold and uncompassionate these people were to me. I've never been treated this way before and will not coming back. read more

I loathe giving this even one star and If there was zero stars... If you go here you will end up here writing a bad review also. I'm not going to bother with my own personal experience but 3 out 3 bad reviews is a sure sign not to go here. Don't bother with this place unless you enjoy making yourself suffer. Just take an extra 10 minutes and find ANY place other than here. read more

Literally the worst service every single time I come to this office... they are super unhelpful! If you have other options for labs go there avoid this office at all costs! read more

Stay away!! I too had a horrible experience here. The phlebotomist was terrible, did not use a butterfly needle even though I told her my veins required it, and consequently left me with a horrible 3-inch+ diameter bruise that lasted for over a week. To top it off, the blood work was botched, so she called to tell me I needed to come back in and have the whole panel redone. Seriously. And when I TRIED to call to schedule the rework, I could never reach an actual person to be sure they didn't need my doctor to resend paperwork. Even knowing I may have to pay another lab, I won't go back here. read more

Terrible service, rude nurses. I had to go here to get a drug screen for my new job. I didn't choose the facility and I'm happy I'm not going there again! It was impossible to schedule an appointment. They don't answer the phone and the phone service they use for scheduling does not schedule drug screenings. So I simply had to get there during their regular hours. I was there at 11:40 AM. There were about 10 people waiting and nobody at the reception. I stood and waited for a while before I called a nurse I saw passing behind the desk. She was trying to ignore me and finally told me they had no receptionist. "It's just us two nurses" and asked me to take a seat and wait. I WAITED FOR AN HOUR to get in. I don't know why it would take an hour for two nurses to get blood/urine samples from ten people. Eventually when the same nurse called me in, she simply ordered me around with a rude tone and made no attempt to explain the procedure to me. I have never taken a drug test before and I didn't know what to expect. Apparently on a drug test you are not allowed to take your purse or any personal items into the bathroom where you give your urine sample. I guess that's because some people might attempt to sneak in another person's (clean) urine and give it instead of theirs (?). They also don't let you wear jackets or big sweaters, for fear you're hiding something behind it. But instead of explaining all this to me, the nurse just goes "take off your sweater and empty your pockets!". I got confused and asked why. She ignored my question and said "put any valuables in this bag and we'll lock them!". I asked her to explain what was going on and the result was that she got angry, saying that I'm not letting her do her job that she can't take my sample that way. She stormed out of the room and let in another patient. The other nurse came in and used similar language. I said that I do not have the take my test at this location, that I am referred there as part of a job screening and that I would complain on their service. Then the first nurse made me wait several more minutes before she came back in, attempting to be more polite but failing. The rest of the procedure also felt like I was a DUI suspect arrested by police than a customer taking a routine test. The nurse showed me into the bathroom (which had no paper towels, BTW) and ordered me to take a sample cup from a box. She ordered me not to flush the toilet when I'm done and said that when I was done I should KNOCK ON THE DOOR FROM THE INSIDE AND WAIT FOR HER. Apparently they also shut off the water when you're taking the test so I had to wait until she came in slowly to do her thing before I could wash my hands! Gross! When I came into the exam room, the computer screen was on with a list of the previous patients on it. Their names etc. were visible for everyone to see. read more

The phone number on their website is wrong. Takes you to a phone number in New Hampshire instead of Redondo Beach. Then the worker said that their manager has known about since September, it's now January. Drove down here for nothing. Please update your website. read more

Terrible customer service and terrible nurses ! Rude! Rude! Rude ! Not professional! Came to the clinic. Only one lazy woman in whole clinic !, who does not know basics of customer service and can't pull the order which on her sister takes forever to do her job. And she does not know what she is doing! How can you have only one inexperienced person working in entire location! Terrible ! Never again! Just washing money business. Not actual clinic! read more

Well managed lab - very efficient checking patients in. Friendly front desk staff. Showed up on a Tuesday morning - in and out within 30 min. The actually time spent drawing blood was 5 min. Cynthia got great skills - no pain at all - she knows what she is doing. read more

Father went there and the service was horrible. Latania could have been more rude. You would think people hired at healthcare facilities would be smart and kind. Latania was incompetent and rude - probably to try to mask her uselessness read more

This place is so awful! Even when it was not crowded AT ALL, there was such a long wait. And the staff really didn't appear to know what they were doing. If you have an option, use LabCorp just a building over. Such better service. read more

I just got the covid antibody test there today and can't say enough how professional the ladies in the office were. I arrived early for my blood draw, but that was ok. They had me wait in the hall because 2 other people were in waiting room. I was seen ahead of the actual time and was guided out the door where staff opened doors for me so I didn't have to touch surfaces. Bravo! read more

If i could give ZERO stars i would, the female named Cynthia has no regard or interest for patient care! We showed up for our appt 10 mins before, we forgot paper work and walked outside to go get it, we came back in and she turned us away! our appt was at 1:40PM and it was 1:55PM we explained we were looking for the orders, this person CYNTHIA R. had NO EMPATHY, we told her we could not find it but that we had walked in at 1:30PM, she said this was not the case as she was checking ppl in and did not see me (so pretty much called me a liar). She was confrontational, and intimidating. She delayed our care. I am writting this review because this seems to be this labs m.o, when I read the reviews I WAS APPAULD. Seems like we are not the only ones having this issue with this person CYNTHIA R who works at the Redondo Beach location. I ENCOURAGE everyone who has had an issue to reach out to your referring providers office and TELL THEM, REACH OUT TO your health plans and TELL THEM about your experience, they will file a complaint. CONTACT the OIG (office of the Inspector General of CALIFORNIA) who is Roy W. Wesley to file your complaint www.oig.ca.gov go to frequently asked questions and you will see ( how do i report etc) phone number 800-323-8603. At such vunerable times; our country is facing in the medical field WE DO NOT NEED a person like CYNTHIA R. caring for us medically!! I am an intelligent female minority but i dont think she knew that!! read more

After discussing my experience with Quest, I convinced my employer to use a different lab for new hires!

Quest Diagnostics - Phlebotomist did not bother to clean me. Very rude lady - Laboratory Testing Near Me - Redondo Beach, California

Super nice and professional staff. Wouldn't go any place else.

I would give them No Stars. The lady at the front is RUDE!!!!! She could use a class on how to treat people. I came to help my husband I was rudely told to leave. She would not let me explain why I was with him. Oh an being fully vaccinated masked doesn't matter. I will never return to this location read more

Of course you wrote a bad review because you hate needles and anything other than the phlebotomists saying to you that they have a new procedure that doesn't involve needles you will give a bad review. My point, I too HATE needles and have had many bad experiences having blood drawn. Though this particular facility was great at all levels except the wait because I was a walk-in, but that's obviously not their fault who shows up. I had blood taken even while squirming around. Multiple vials and about 45 seconds later I was good to go. No pain. Not fuss. No bad review. ;) read more

I arrived to the office today at 3:30pm and after checking-in without an appointment, I was promptly seated in a room for a blood draw. I had the pleasure of receiving some extraordinary customer service from phlebotomist LaTanya... who greeted me with a friendly smile and a warm demeanor. I advised LaTanya that I disliked needles, was squeamish, and only wanted the draw from my non-dominant arm. She said, "Don't worry I'll take good care of you" and she did. After viewing my arm she had a needle in my arm and was drawing blood and "I literally wasn't even aware of it"... I didn't even feel a prick. And in no time at all LaTanya had five vials of blood drawn and we were done. I was in and out of the office within 15-20 minutes total! So any negative reviews for this business location can be remedied by: a) get an appointment if you are really in a hurry b) have your insurance card with you and readily available c) have "realistic" expectations if you show up with NO appointment at 9am some morning and the lobby is full with others doing the same thing d) be kind and considerate of the phlebotomists, they are doing the best that they can and it is most often the patients that are being difficult. ** Quest Diagnostics Management.... please give LaTonya a pay raise for she certainly represents your company exceptionally... you don't want to lose her. read more

Get here at least 20 minutes before opening if you don't want to wait at least 2 hours to be seen. Even people with appointments weren't seen for over 1 he after their scheduled time. I waited for over 2 hours in a waiting room without enough chairs for everyone. People were left standing and sitting on the small magazine tables. Seems like they only had 1 tech working which only made things worse. Make an appointment and when you check in be sure they know you have an appt. read more

Horrible customer service even as a walk in. I've been sitting here for over an hour and these women work extremely slow. Slower than a snails pace. I'm watching two right now taking no one in there just chatting and walking back and fourth like there doing something when they are not! This company should put in cameras to watch the workers who do absolutely the limited if not next to nothing! read more

Poor communication with office staff. Barely greeted me when I entered. Was told where to go by a staff member who didn't even look up to make eye contact. Would be nice to be treated warmly and greeted by staff. This is a beautiful location but the customer care is lacking. Remember that people are coming to you because they have medical problems or issues. Treat them kindly. Especially when you're not busy. read more

My review is for the staff. These women are amazing!! It was just the two of them running the whole show. They had to check everyone in (nobody knows how to work the ipad with 2 questions), field questions (was i supposed to fast?, isnt this labcorp?, theres no TP in the bathroom), listen to medical stories, deal with insurance issues. Then when they had a chance, they would set people up for urine samples, draw blood, sanitize rooms and god knows what else. They do all this with a smile on their face. It is insane what these two go though and have to deal with!! As far as what to expect...a wait. I assumed the worst and was mentally prepared, so wasnt too bad. Showed up :30 early hoping to get in early, not the case. I did get in at my appointment time though. They make everyone who shows up early wait in car, then they text you. only like 5 seats in lobby and its small, i get it. I was lucky cause when i checked in (via ipad (you need code or phone #), but they needed my insurance/dr paperwork) they were dealing with another women and had me take seat. A flood of people came in right when she was done (not really, she was a lot) and they couldn't get back to me, so i sat in waiting room the whole time. They called me at my appointment time and took my insurace card and dr paperwork. Went to room, and she took my blood. super friendly and nice. Seemed like the only peaceful moments they get. They probably shut down for lunch and have people banging on the door the whole time. Please get these women some help!!! read more

I wish healthcare workers whether front desk or other staff could have a bit of compassion. Most people don't go to the doctor or have lab work for fun. So if they don't hear you call their name or don't know how to work an automated system give them a BREAK! Ask yourself, are you perfect?! A day in and day out job for you is not the same for those coming in for a service! read more

I got my plasma test done here, I hear about it on TV, the service is fast but lacks friendly customer service, felt like a number, also they forgot to give me my results, I'd call after 2 weeks to get them, they couldn't find it at first, I wish people were more compassionate and friendly at this lab, specially during this obvious pandemic that is bringing more business to them read more

The waiting room is so tiny and cramped and there isn't even water for people waiting to do a drug test. They have a board with wait times and it is completely inaccurate. I know this place has a bad wrap based on other reviews, but I had a very positive experience this morning. I'll start off by saying that it is frustrating that it is very difficult to get a morning appointment without waiting weeks. That being said, I got there 30 mins before opening and was second in line. I was there for Glucose tolerance test so had to be there for 3 hours and 4 draws. I was seen by 8:05, and had 2 blood draws and drank my glucose drink by 8:13. My other 2 draws went like clockwork and I was done at 11:13 on the dot. I can only speak for LaTanya, but she was amazing. I had no problems with the draws themselves, and they were painless. I was a pleasure spending my morning with her. Tips: Get there early. If you do not get there early, be prepared to wait. This isn't the ladies fault, it is just the high demand. They moved very quickly and turned the room over a few times while I was there. Bring a book or download a show to Netflix (the service isn't great). read more

Worse experience ever, I had a appointment at 11:15am yesterday to get blood work for a health wellness program for work. I was strongly advised to make an appointment prior which I did and to to bring your paperwork with you, which I also did. All this was planned during my lunch period. I arrived at 11:18am for my 11:15am appointment and was quickly asked to wait outside the door because they had 5 people inside already. Totally understandable. A few minutes later the girl at front desk allowed us in and took our temperature, I waited a few more minutes and checked in manually and once I did the self check in system said I was late over 10 minutes so the girl asked if I had an appointment which I did and she responds well your late, I was totally blown away and reminded her that she was the one that asked me and another lady to wait outside which then made me late further, she again tells me that i was late and would need to wait as a walk in patient. Totally horrible experience. I immediately left and went back to work and reported this to our Benefits HR executives to look into Quest Diagnostics practices which thankfully they said they would. My employer is the biggest Aerospace company in the area and should not be doing business with horrible companies like these. read more

Hello, I went as scheduled to your Redondo Beach location and reached at 3:10 pm. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk told us that they drug test only until 12:00 noon. When I told them we have an appointment scheduled for 3, she said they do the drug test only until 12:00 noon, and then she told us that moreover you came late by 10 mins. I don't understand why does your website give appointments scheduling when your facilities don't do the test at that time? Is there a reason why you would make people leave work for an hour, drive all the way to your facility, and then be told bluntly and rudely that they don't do the tests at that time? The lady at the reception was highly rude and disrespectful in how she treated us. We didn't argue with us, because she appeared to not speak english at all, just murmuring some words in spanish. This was a very bad experience. I had to go to your facility because of pre-employment drug test, otherwise I'll never ever go there again. If you are employing and keeping non-english speakers who will behave rudely with your customers, then you better prepare for a backlash from all your customers. I'll make sure the word goes around.... read more
