I showed up early/on time. I waited 40 minutes to be called for my appointment. When I checked in no one told me I wasn't suppose to use the restroom/urinate. I used the restroom while waiting. When I did see the technician I'm told that I must have a full bladder to do this procedure so now I'm told to drink 2 large glasses of water and wait Again. No one tells me it's going to be an hour before my bladder is 'full' so now I'm waiting an additional hour on top of the 40 I've already waited. When I asked why no one let me know about The full bladder needed I was told there was a voicemail left and I should have gotten that. They said I should also know which test I'm getting...now mind you no one bothered to circle the test I was getting on the paper so that I would Know. I said I understand but I never received the voicemail only an email which I used to confirm my 10:05 AM appointment. I said that it would have been nice to mention when checking in. The way I was treated by the receptionists is not what I expect from a professional office taking my money for a service. i understand everyone has bad days but todays bad day was at my expense and with no regard or apology from anyone working in this office. Worst place ever, even if you have a month old appt they gonna keep you waiting for ever.

The staff here need some education in service. Went last week for an ultrasound and watched as at least half a dozen people came in thinking they could get x-rays, only to be told that the message stating same on their voicemail was incorrect. Well, FIX YOUR VOICEMAIL! How many people need to waste their time coming to you for services they correctly assume you will render only to be turned away? Also, my wife was told unequivocally to make sure she drank 32oz of water before her ultrasound, which is difficult and uncomfortable. When she gets on the table, the tech says that wasn't needed AND that she needs to 'get rid' of the water before they can do the ultrasound. Pure laziness and incompetence on the part of the office staff. This could have been easily avoided. read more

I had several X-rays and my mammogram done at this facility and my service was excellent. In the front desk, Hilda pleasantly greeted me and checked my insurance co-payments. She also gave me payments options which was wonderful. I was a walk-in and was told the wait would be 45 minutes. 45 minuets later, LeeOn the imaging tech escorted me to the back and performed my tests with ease. Everything was complete within 10 minutes and I left with a CD of my images. I was so Pleased with my care that I made an appointment for my mammogram the following week. I arrived and was escorted back at my appointment time. Jill, the mammogram technician, performed my tests with clear instructions and gentleness during the images. Everything was complete within 15 minutes. This is a great imaging center for X-rays and mammograms and I highly recommend this facility. read more

When your doctor refers you to this facility, in order to make up an appointment, you have to call a central scheduling department in the Philippines. These people at the scheduling department are rude, uncooperative, and you cannot understand what they are saying. They are very impatient and if you ask them to repeat themselves they become really hostile. It took me an hour to schedule a bleepity bleep-appointment. They insist that you use some kind of an app to take a picture of your referral and send it to them electronically and then they ask you for all of the information that is on the referral form that you just sent. If your doctor refers you to this facility, DO NOT call the number on the referral form. Look up the number for Pacific Imaging at the address on the form and call the facility directly. The people at the facility are very friendly and cooperative. If it weren't for the fact that this company uses this third-party scheduling system, I would give this facility five stars easily! read more

Not much I can say about this location. Parking lot is inconvenient, desk staff cold and uncaring, the changing room was dirty with used gowns lying on the floor, and the imaging equipment looked old compared to other facilities I've visited. Very difficult time scheduling an appointment and got conflicting phone calls telling me I was scheduled, to make an appointment, I was removed from the schedule, in back on the schedule. That part alone left my head spinning. When you walk into the building trying to find the office you almost need a map. Very poorly marked and when you enter the waiting room you wonder if you're in the right place. Other than that i got my MRI and survived the experience. But when I returned 2 days later for my results and the receptionist neglected to give me the last (and most important) page. Had to call, 15 minutes on hold, and they were nice enough to fax the missing page to me. read more

I am really upset with this office. I scheduled an MRI two weeks before hand and the day before because I missed one call in the middle of my work day they cancelled my appointment. I even called them back before the end of the day, so basically if you don't answer one phone call they go ahead and cancel a super import appointment that is hard to get. I would not recommend them at all. read more

I called to make an appointment yesterday, I was provided with an appointment for today. When I get here in a very rude manner Irene advised that the appointment doesn't exist. I drove 45 mins just to get here, a side from the mistake they made, the Irene was rude about it. I asked for Corp phone number which she denied. She stated they're not allowed to give out the phone number. I called a different facility in Downey, they apologized and laughed at the fact the this facility failed to provide me with the information. The manager should be embarrassed of her staff and they're lack of customer service skills. As an manager to a Medical office, I will never refer any patients to this or any Radnet facilities. I'd rather go with one of the competitors: UMIH, Expert MRI, Pegasus, Simon Imaging, etc. I'll also let other Dr offices and law firms I work with know the lack of customer service and unprofessionalism from Radnet. read more

What a waste of time! I've called last week to get appointment for X-ray... .They told me no need to get appointments you can walk in. So I went there at 1:00 pm on Monday and they said the Xray staff is not working ,come back some other day. I went there today(Tuesday) and saw lots of people are waiting for Xray,I filled out the forms and went to sit on the chair.TV was too loud that was bothering so much (it was talking about cancer and covid). I asked them nicely to lower the sound and they ignored so I did myself. Then one of the staff who was sitting behind the glass came out and yelled don't touch the TV with attitude just like a pig. Well,.... ..... who are sitting behind the counter, if you want to hear The loud BS on TV, you can have the TV where you are sitting and make it loud! Not your fault. Had to go here through workers comp and according to my Dr. they performed a sub par MRI on my knee. He said it wasn't a good enough quality to see what was going on in my knee. Apparently it was a "thick cut" imaging instead of a more definitive "thin cut" (more images closer together) MRI. Plus they stole Beach Cities Orthopedics name. Normally I don't write reviews, but this place deserves a review - for having the worst care ever. Three people at front desk... no customers upfront. They do not and will not look at your signed form and will leave it untouched. Another patient gets up in the front to give them their form. They receive it with both arms and greet this person with a thank you? You guys probably think that I'm paranoid. But I am super curious on what goes on with the three people's head. I've read all of the other reviews, and I'm a little baffled. My setup for appointment was relatively easy, they did text me to confirm my appointment, which was fine. On appointment day I arrived half an hour early as they requested. The girl who did my MRI was was very sweet, and did everything possible to make sure that I was comfortable while in that MRI tube. Everything went as smooth as can be and I would say I was in and out in probably an hour, to an hour and a half. For me it could not have gone any better. Also if you have to in the tube, not only use ear plugs that they give you,but ask the girl to put a towel on both sides of your ear to dampen the noise. The added cushion helps against the somewhat loud noise the MRI puts out. I have not received the final written results of my MRI nor have I gone to my doctor yet to have him analyze it, but I'm assuming all will be well. This place might get the MRI done but their corporate policies and local office policies are separate. They do not communicate and blame each other. It took a lot of time working with scheduling to get my appointment. I got the confirmation text for my allotment which I replied to as confirmed. After that text they called to confirm but since I did the confirmation through text I didn't call back. I show up for my appointment to which they told me they gave it away because I didn't call even though I showed them the confirmation text. They refused to give me my MRI for my set appointment and couldn't get me into the another one till the following week. This is needed to be able to move forward with a surgery and there is no care or compassion that their making some suffer due to their incompetence. I tried to make an appointment for my son at this awful place. It turned out to be impossible as the staff there had no clue what they were doing. One staff member would tell me they had all our info, then the next would tell me they had nothing and the other staff member was lying. Then I would be placed on hold for 45 minutes only to then be told they would have to call me back. After LITERALLY six hours of this disgraceful treatment I told the manager to forget it, I will not have my son handled by such disgusting people. Horrible customer service at the Redondo Beach office. I was told X-rays are walk-in so I walk in at 2:07 and was told a 30 min wait. After an hour waiting, I go to front desk and they said, sorry 5 minutes...after 5 min, sorry 10 minutes (you get the picture, just jerking my chain). Another patient waiting overheard me and said "GOOD LUCK! I had an appt at 2 pm and I'm STILL waiting!" (an hour later). The clerk heard him and said "oh sorry sir, your appt was at 3 pm not 2, he had been given wrong info and had been waiting over an hour for nothing! That was the last straw for me, I got up and walked out. I will NEVER go back to this location. The only reason I went was because it was close to my house. Run by a bunch of unprofessional Mickey Mouse morons who don't know their @ss from a hole in the wall. And it wasn't even that busy!! Stay clear from this location, they are ridiculously slow and stupid. read more

I've been here a few of times and have had no problems. Setting up an appointment is easy, the office is very clean, and the front desk as well as the techs are friendly. All you have to do is treat them nicely. I've never had any problem parking. It does get crowded in the waiting room at times, so I suggest trying to get an early appointment which solves the wait time problem that people have mentioned. read more

The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. Scheduling was a breeze, thanks to Paul. When we came in for my husband's MRI, they took us at precisely our appointment time, no waiting whatsoever. Everyone was professional and the facility is clean, modern, and has plenty of parking. This location was previously called Pacific Imaging, and both my husband and I were patients several years ago when it was under that name, and were quite pleased with the service and treatment then as well. Waited in waiting room for 30 min. with my girlfriend who is pregnant. She has been fasting since last night. When she is called up they give her something to drink and then she has to wait another hour before they can draw blood. All of that is understandable except; why is it that they do not give you the drink when you first arrive at check in? Our total wait time is an hour and thirty minutes when it could have been an hour. Common sense to give the drink to pregnant women when they first arrive as not eating is bad for their baby. It would also be more efficient to get patients in and out quicker and have less people waiting in the waiting room. How is it that this process has not been thought of years ago. Overall everything is as expected when coming to this facility. read more

We were sent here by our ENT doctor for ultrasound on our child. Front desk was cold and seemed to care less if we were giving them our business. Technician was straight up RUDE. There are professional ways to say things or explain them to clients. This lady was curt rude and gruff. As if we were "bothering her". I just went for my first MRI. I have to say how amazing the staff is here at Beach Cities. I expected to feel like a number here, and I am thrilled to say that was not at all the case. I'd like to especially acknowledge Adolfo and Max. Adolfo scheduled my appointment and handled all follow up. He was warm, friendly and professional. He also very quickly and efficiently handled my paperwork. Once I checked in, they took me right away. My tech was Max. He was great - super chill, but professional. He immediately made me feel at ease. He was sensitive to my comfort and was great about communicating what was happening next. I came in for a MRI and the technician was awesome and he even brought me a little blanket because I was cold. I brought my mom for MRI and xrays, I was a little nervous at first for my mom because she was in pain and can barely walk, technician was so gentle and careful with her. Just got done with a CT scan there this morning. I've never had to get any type of imaging diagnostics done before. So I was pretty nervous. But, the front desk staff, including Michelle, was super nice. My tech, Leon, was absolutely fantastic. He talked me through every part of the process and made me feel really comfortable. He was constantly giving me feedback and checking if I was ok, which I really appreciated. Though getting these tests done are not on the top of my fun list, they made the experience as efficient and painless as possible. read more

I contacted this imaging center to set up an appointment and gave them all my information needed. My appointment was scheduled first thing on a Monday morning. It was scheduled almost 2 weeks in advance. I had to take off the morning from work for this appointment and also not eat any breakfast - but when I showed up the front desk told me my appointment had been canceled. The Manager was not there yet for me to ask why this happened, so I called back later that day. I believe his name was Paul and when I finally talked to him he told me that they called my insurance company earlier the week before on Tuesday to verify things and there was an issue, so my appointment was canceled and he called me and left a voice-mail. Problem was I NEVER had a missed call or a voice-mail from this office! He was very rude to me and acted like it was not his fault or his problem. I asked him what number he called and his response was "the number I just told you". Which was interesting because he never repeated my number to me before that. He then told me the number and it was correct, but I never had any missed calls or voice-mail. So I call my insurance company and spend 30 minutes on the phone with them. They keep records of who calls and when so I found out that the office called my insurance company late in the afternoon on the Friday before my appointment and that was it! The manager lied to me about when he called my insurance company and obviously lied about calling me and leaving a voice-mail. They really dropped the ball on this one. He did not want to take responsibility for his mistake so he just blamed it on me. The whole experience was horrible and I missed getting work done at my job and making money. Updating my last review since today's experience was so bad compared to my my previous experience. This time I had to get an x-ray. Their X-ray department is walk-in only. You cannot even schedule an appointment. First, it took me a good twenty minutes to find parking. Then when I finally got into the office, I was told there would be a minimum 1 hour 45 minute wait. This office also takes a TWO HOUR lunch break, so no way was I going to chance the minimum 1 hour 45 minute wait and then have to wait another two hours. This is on top of having to drive an hour just to get to this place. Who has time to waste an entire work day just to get a simple X-ray taken? Horribly run X-ray department, other than the front staff being courteous. read more

Went there for an MRI on my back. I was nervous because the last MRI I had I felt like I was in a coffin. Beach Cities was different. I don't remember the tech's name but he was great! He made me feel very comfortable. I had on a headset and listened to some great music. The tech talked to me every few minutes to see how I was doing. Totally put me at ease.
