I didn't have an appointment so I walked in hoping they get see for labs. I waited about 30 to minutes and got my lab work done. Happy to have been seen that day. read more

Labcorp is a laboratory testing office and this is one of many Labcorp locations in Los Angeles. This Labcorp location in Redondo Beach is pretty busy as the Beach Cities Health District is located near the office. I came here for a routine lab tests. [Parking]: Easy and free designated parking garage. No issue finding a parking at 8:45 AM on a weekday. The office is located on the 3rd floor. [Check-in]: I booked an appointment ahead of time. I initially tried to check in via one of kiosks (have driver's licenses or government issued ID ready), but I noticed somehow my check-in was a walk-in visit (visitors can see the status on the overhead TV screen). So I checked in again using the link given on my text message instead (Labcorp will send the link 24 hours in advance) and this time it worked wonderfully. Checking in using kiosks can be a big risk as the visit could turned an on-time appointment into a nightmare walk-in situation (could be waiting for hours) - so use the link given via the text message! [Note]: Friendly phlebotomist and staff at the front counter. Phlebotomist recommended drinking a gallon of water before the blood drawing - two glasses of water before sleeping and two glasses of water after waking up (drinking water helps phlebotomist having an easier to find veins). [Conclusion]: I was able to complete the whole process in 25 minutes. Expect a solid 4-star experience if everything is executed correctly from scheduling an advanced appointment, checking in via the link on the text message, and arriving on-time. read more

This location continues to provide poor, disorganized service. I made an appointment for September 14 and received several notifications asking me to confirm my appointment, including a final notice approximately one hour prior to my appointment time. When I arrived, the lab was closed due to A/C maintenance. I received no notice from Labcorp about this closure, only continued confirmations that my appointment was on schedule. This type of rude and unprofessional approach has been consistent with my experience over many years at Labcorp. I continued to give the benefit of the doubt, but it is apparent that care for patients, including a small courtesy of notifying us when they need to close for unforseen reasons, is not something they are willing to do. There are several other options, and I strongly suggest those who want reliable, courteous service look elsewhere. read more

Every time I come here, I question why I come back to this Labcorp location. Even with an appointment it's been a 30 minute wait. The gal at the front desk is rude and unhelpful. Cuts people off while talking, points to a machine for elderly patients and tells them to scan in, and then when they don't know how she's condescending. read more

I followed the reviews for walk ins and got there around 8:40 checked in which was horrible the front desk lady told me not to listen to it. I waited till almost ten then said to cancel it. I noticed there was a system to take people they liked because walk ins some walzed right in no appointment. Some appointment like me had been waiting a long time. Towards the end the lady said if no more walk ins come before you have all these people in front of you. I was talking to my dad when this lady said surely she means no more appointments in front of you. Don't go here it's a mess! read more

I've been going to Labcorp in Redondo Beach for years and for a time every other month. I have small veins and it can be a painful experience but here at the Redondo facility they have been wonderful, I appreciate the gentle care they have taken with me. Phlebotomist is great. Front office staff rude. They tried to turn my 14-year-old daughter away 30 minutes before closing because they wanted to leave early. This is one of the only lab Corp locations that stays open until 4. Local schools get out at 3:30. I told receptionist we had already checked in so she frowned and let us go to the back. I saw her turn away the next 3 clients to enter the lab. read more

Made an appt for 2:30. Here on time and blood orders already here Place so jammed, no seats available to sit down Said running behind by 2 people with appts. I would not recommend this Labcorp location to anyone. The front desk staff member (the nurse or receptionist with pink/fuchsia hair) is extremely rude and unprofessional. Last week, I brought my father in as a walk-in for blood work. We waited over two hours, which was frustrating enough, but what made the experience unbearable was watching this staff member treat people so poorly. She openly argued with a patient who was simply asking for information--in front of a packed waiting room. It was uncomfortable, embarrassing, and completely inappropriate behavior, especially in a healthcare setting where patients should feel respected and cared for. Instead, everyone was forced to witness her attitude and lack of professionalism. Today, I returned to drop off a urine specimen for my father, and once again she was dismissive, rude, and mean. It costs nothing to be kind, yet she continues to choose the opposite. If she dislikes her job that much, she should not be taking it out on patients and their families--especially vulnerable people who come here for important medical needs. Healthcare requires compassion, patience, and professionalism, and unfortunately, this staff member shows none of those qualities. Until changes are made, I will not be recommending this Labcorp location to anyone. -510 N Prospect Ave, Ste 305 Redondo Beach, CA 90277 this is the location to avoid. read more

PROFITS BEFORE PATIENTS ... expect to wait over an hour even if you have made an appointment. One person is expected to manage the patient flow, so obvious they are overwhelmed and therefore lacking ANY customer service skills. Not even an apology for the long wait. Unfortunately, most medical groups contract with Labcorp, leaving patients with no options. Big corporations strike again! read more

as long as you arrive 7am. Otherwise the wait is crazy. Not enough chairs, a 90 year old man was standing in the hallway ‍. The machines to sign in did not work... they did it the old fashion way (worked better) The Lab techs were pleasant. She did say they are ALWAYS busy tho so either make an appointment or go first thing in the morning! read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. I took my son in for an appointment today, and the nurse asked me if I was babysitting my own child. As a father, that comment was incredibly offensive and inappropriate. Fathers don't "babysit" their kids -- we parent them. It's disappointing to encounter that kind of outdated mindset in a healthcare setting. I hope this is addressed, so other parents -- especially dads -- don't have to deal with similar disrespect. read more

I had an incomplete blood draw from Labcorp El Segundo - not sure of root cause but their staff was good too. For my second draw on Prospect Ave the expert technician used a slim 22 ga BD needle and almost did not feel it and they drew the blood quickly and effectively. Very happy with this visit and wish everyone the best. Thank you LC RB and LC ES. read more

I was seriously negative about this location for various reasons previously described. I've since been here several times and they are doing a good job at at social distancing, easy check in, requiring mask wearing and sanitizing stations between patients. Walk in patients were handled well and did not have long waits. I was there at 10 am and at least 8 walk ins were registered. Appointments, however, are best. All in all much improved. My results were transmitted to my doctor the next day. read more

I regularly go to the Labcorp at 510 N Prospect in Redondo Beach and I will NEVER go elsewhere! With appointments I am taken care of from between a few minutes to immediately every time! EVERYONE is efficient and caring from Desiree T. in the front office to Sabrina taking my blood (a challenge with my tiny veins). I hesitate to write this as it could increase the "wait time," but they are absolutely the best. I can't thank them enough. Paul read more

I made an appointment for my blood work. Since I wanted an earlier appointment. I had to make it about 3 weeks in advance (they are totally booked for earlier appointments). When I arrived on site, I texted them to let them know I was there. I immediately received a text back stating that my technician was ready for me. As soon as I walked in the door, I was taking in for my urine sample and then taken to a blood draw station. A few minutes later, the tech came in and drew my blood. I was literally out within 10 minutes. The staff were very pleasant. It couldn't have been a better experience. read more

I waited 3 hours for bloodwork. I'm diabetic and fasting. I eventually ate the emergency banana in my purse because my blood sugar was so low from waiting. I let them know many times that I felt sick and needed to get my blood work done soon so I could eat my banana. My glucometer on my arm was going off and no one cared. This place is awful and I'll never go back. Everyone was complaining. Terrible! read more

Had the greatest experience here yesterday. I took me about a month to get an early-morning appointment for routine blood work. When I arrived there were only two of us there, and I was taken almost immediately back to a chair. Was out of there in less than 15 minutes so I could go on about my day! One weird thing, and this is not related to LabCorp, but the parking structure for 510 N. Prospect is very odd. There doesn't seem to be an elevator anywhere and I ended up walking up the ramp which specifies not for walking but the stairs were dingy. It would seem me that a medical building would have an elevator? read more

Long waits and no communication. Told me an hour wait and was longer then 2 hours no good

This office is located in the 510 Building on the third floor in Suite 305, not to be confused with the 520 Building, Suite 305, which is Quest Diagnostics. I intentionally went to Quest not realizing my Doctor had sent me to this LabCorp office. I really like this office because I was the only one in the waiting area when I walked in. How can you not love that? It should mean your wait time is going to be next to none! As soon as I was processed in, I was told I could go to cubicle 4 and get my blood work done. Yay! The phlebotomist found my vein on the first attempt and I was out of there within 5 minutes. That is a rare thing in my world. This office is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful! I can only imagine on any other day or time that this place gets quite busy! They do have a good number of chairs for patients. Also, there seems to be a lot of lab workers behind the desk, so I am hopeful that they get people in and out within a reasonable amount of time. Depending on my co-pay bill which I will receive in the mail, I would most certainly like to return here for future lab work! read more

I've visited four other LabCorp locations in the South Bay and this one is by far the finest. I'm happy that they open on time and during my last visit, they actually let us in the waiting room 15 minutes early. They make sure we met the prerequisites (insurance card and that we were fasting). I don't have to wait long before my name is called. I like that these folks are extremely competent and friendly. They are able to get the job done and not cause me to have ill after-effects. If you arrive before they open, bench seats are available. read more

Had a good experience here. I checked in on my phone at 3pm for my 3:30 appointment and waited outside the building. I got a text at 3:15 that a tech was ready for me, made my way upstairs and when I walked in a friendly employee greeted me by name. It was just another short wait, 10 min max, until I was let into a room. The technician was professional and I was out of there in another 10 minutes. read more

If you are fortunate enough to get Valerie to do your blood work here, she is simply THE BEST! Valerie is friendly, very detail oriented and professional, socially comforting through the process, and quite frankly is so skilled, when I had my blood drawn, I did not feel the needle going in, or while the test tubes were changed during the draw, or coming out at the removal. A very painless and pain-free process, quick and convenient. The wait time was minimal after signing in. You can make reservation appointments too. I like the new office on the 3rd floor Suite #305, it has a bright happy decor. read more

I'm only docking one star because no one likes to get blood drawn. And if you do well I won't judge but that's not normal :). When my pediatrician told me my kids needed a blood test I was like OMG how the frick do I get kids to get blood drawn :( ugh. Yea I bribed them, but we had a great experience with our technican. In fact the kids were amused. My younger son was scared but she let me sit with him the whole time. We even took home our rubber band that makes your vein pop out when they wrap it around your arm (whatever works)!! I would come here again if I had to for myself or my children. Both of their kiosks are out of order. They did not put a sign in the door letting patients know. Therefore, we were waiting forever to be called! TERRIBLE communication skills. It wasn't until someone, with an appointment, went up and asked when she would be called. She had already waited 50 minutes!!! It was obvious that the staff was frustrated by their tone on voice and their body language. There should be a lab tech for every drawing station. There needs to be a greeter or someone notifying patients of delays or equipment not working. Extremely poor customer service. read more

The people at Lab Corps in Walgreens do not return phone calls. In person, they are not helpful and borderline rude.

If I could gives these folks a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. I attempted to do a walk in blood test at Quest at 520 Prospect and was told that they would not be taking any more walk in patients. At 1130? I have been using Quest for over 8 years. Never had anything happen like this before. This is when Iphones are the best. Checked and found that LabCorp had a lab 200 yards away and were in my plan network. No crap. Walked in. Was greeted nicely. Signed in with this high tech machine and was having my blood drawn within 15 minutes. All. Just. Easy. I even give them points for making the needle go in easy.
