I had been needing to get a TB test for my kids school (volunteer) and I just had no idea where to go until someone on our school group chat mentioned this place. Setting the appointment was very easy. Getting there was very easy too. I think they could make the inside look a little better, it looks sooooooo sketchy!!! Beyond. Although it does look like they try to keep it clean, it still doesn't look very clean, looks like a very run down clinic. I decided to ignore that and focus on overall service. Came in on a Saturday morning, didn't have to wait for than 5 minutes before I was seen. The process was super quick. I was out of there within 15-20minutes. With a card and info for me to go between Mon and Tues. which I did. And once again I didn't have to wait, didn't even need an appointment. The girl in the front checked my arm, it was negative. They gave me my paperwork and I was out of there in no time. Definitely recommend them. And will be back in the future if I need them again. read more

So a lot of the time when you have a new job, there are certain things that you need to get done before you start the job. For example, some jobs require fingerprinting and or a health physical and you have to be updated on certain vaccinations, get a Tb test, etc. Instead of going to several different places to get these things done, you can just come to Wellness Mart and get everything done at the same time! Who would've thought right!? I had no idea that something like this even existed until it was recommended to me by an employer. Not only do they offer physicals, fingerprinting, TB test vaccinations, but they also offer CPR & first aid classes, which some jobs also require, and blood tests which other jobs might require, and various other services. The only issue that I had with Wellness Mart is that some employers can be a bit picky as far as how the physical is signed. For example, when I did a physical here they stamped it with their facility stamp in addition to a doctor's signature.However, my specific employer needed the stamp of the doctor, the actual doctor, and unfortunately, that is something that they do not do. I could've just had a super picky person who is looking for things like that because I've never really had an issue before. Before you go to Wellness Mart for a physical, just ask your employer if they require a physician stamp. You don't want to spend the $70 and then get rejected and have to spend money somewhere else. So that's my only issue, they need a physician's stamp for physicals! But anyway, they offer so many other different services. So if you're looking to get things done for your job, I would definitely check them out. You can make an appointment online and then when you enter just check in on the iPad and then you'll be good to go. There is plenty of parking. read more

My boyfriend and I went to wellnessmart yesterday for a TB screening and LiveScan for a cna program we're doing. The two staff girls were really friendly and helpful. They got us both in as walk-ins with no problem, which I really appreciated. They were also so kind enough to print out the forms we had on our phones for us. We were in and out in no time! This place was excellent - Because of the people. I needed a TB test... had no idea where to go etc... luckily this place came up on Yelp. The place is very busy! It was packed both times I went there. So there was a little bit of a wait but it gave me a chance to watch the employees show kindness, understanding and professionalism to everyone. It was really cool to see. It was so busy that I don't think I could have handled the rushing around, people asking questions etc... it takes a special type to be able to handle all the chaos and these fine people handled it with ease. I never saw anyone lose their patience with a customer etc... I did see the employees laughing and smiling and enjoying their work with customers. Professionalism with personality is a rare thing these days. I'll be back to this place the next time I need something that they provide. read more

This review is ONLY for blood draws. If you have small veins, go elsewhere. The phlebotomist did not seem experienced with smaller difficult-to-find veins. They also did not have different size needles- only one size. After poking me in multiple spots, she gave up and told me to go to Quest. I know my veins are hard to find and at times it has taken an extra poke, but I have never had to leave a lab or clinic before with a failed blood draw. (And I have had MANY blood draws) However, the staff was friendly and the place looked like it would be fine for other stuff they do. Two stars. read more

I did a livescan here a few months back for a CCW. The person who was helping me was a young girl who was new and did not know what to do. She had to ask for assistance from her co worker which made me a bit nervous given that these documents are going to a government agency. Fast forward 5 months and the DOJ has not been able to process my livescan. When I called the number to this location someone at a call center answered and was unable to answer any of my questions. She had to put me on hold to message her supervisor who relayed the message that since it had been more than 30 days I would have to come in and pay to redo my fingerprints even if the person who helped me entered in the wrong information. I asked if there was any way I could come in without paying since the mistake was on their end. She said no. I then asked to speak to the supervisor and the answer again was no. She basically said I have to pay the $120 to rescan or go somewhere else. I was shocked. I'm a huge believer in supporting local businesses but when customer service is terrible, and unfair I'm happy to take my business elsewhere! read more

I've been here before and it wasn't a terrible experience...came in today and it was ridiculous. They were packed and there were 3 employees present who were all apparently too busy to greet customers or give directions on their check in process. After standing in line for 12 mins, I was asked if I'd checked in at the iPad...like sir, how would I know to do that and you've been looking at me all this time knowing that I came straight to this line. Anyway, perhaps it's a better process if you have an appt instead of walking in, (mind you walk in service is advertised so eye roll) but regardless I won't be back and I recommend trying another place if you're in a pinch for time. Edit: the employees were decently nice when I was being serviced but they really need to get a system together and greet people. I had to get a last minute fit test for my job and was set up at this location. I'd never heard of it before but it's super convenient! They do all sorts of tests and things here including fingerprinting, bloodwork, CPR certification, etc. (see my photos). When I came in, there was nobody else in line so I was helped right away. In and out within 15 minutes probably. There were 2 people working and they were knowledgeable and friendly! It's a pretty small facility but they can do lots of things here. Much better than waiting for a long time at a clinic just for bloodwork! read more

Staff were friendly and it was a quick appointment, was able to get in and out within 20 minutes. The reason for the 2 start review is because the male staff member who's tall and wears glasses made a mistake with my blood draw. I'm a phlebotomist so I know step by step what the procedure is. He removed the needle out of my arm without taking the tourniquet off first and that is a huge no no!!! I ended up bruising and my arm was hurting really bad afterward. He needs to be re-trained because he could give someone a really bad hematoma one day and I hope it hasn't happened with any other patients. read more

This is a no frills a la carte med service clinic, and I liked how quickly I was able to get the test and have it read 2 days later. I think they fill a very important void in the healthcare system by providing services that you can pay for individually and without an appointment. I was in need of a place where I can get two things done at the same time instead of driving to different places. I needed a live scan and a tb test and I found this place while looking on yelp. I was so happy I didn't need an appointment and walk ins are welcome. Came here around 11:20am on a Friday and left by 12:09pm. I waited a bit because there were 2 people working and both were busy. Got my two things done and came back on Monday to get my tb read. Went in,got my papers signed and printed in less than 10 minutes. It used to be a great place with an outstanding customer service. The nurses Nick and Trey were very helpful and friendly over the 2 years I have been a patient there. It seems that Nick West isn't the manager anymore and that he is no longer practicing there. The place is no longer offering laser tattoo removal services (not updated on their website). I had someone telling me on the phone that the service was temporary interrupted and someone else telling me that the service will no longer be provided. There were obviously annoyed by my simple question and not willing to help. I was finally able to obtain my medical file after insisting because according to them as professional as they seem to be, I do not need my personal file regarding 2 years of uncompleted laser tattoo removal. I had a very good experience here twice. I came to get fingerprinted. They have a plethora of services. My wait time was minimal. I read reviews before I went, and I saw nothing negative. This is a storefront, unfancy, walk-in medical facility where you can get many different lab tests done, at reasonable prices, without the difficulties of a traditional medical or lab office. As a nurse, I really appreciate the way that Nick is so great at patient education. He cares to explain how to practically be smart and protect yourself from diseases. He is knowledgeable in common diseases per locations you are traveling. After searching on Yelp for the most affordable vaccinations, I came across this one as the best in the area. They have other things like livescan, drug tests, cpr classes, physicals and basic travel shots. Yellow fever vaccines are $185 compared to competing prices from $200-400. read more

I had to downgrade this from all the five star rating due to the mistake of a single employee. When I called about getting a yellow fever vaccine I was immediately told by one employee that there was NO yellow vaccine anywhere in CA. I subsequently found out that person was wrong but Trey, said he would inform others about that, so it's still positive but NOT five star. Their website is good and informative. They don't have the substitute for Yellow Fever Vaccine so if you need one go to the Healthy Traveler in Pasadena NOT Healthy Passport in various locations, their Yelp reviews are practically all one stars including mine, it's worth it to go a little farther. read more
