Sent my son to get blood work done for his appointment at 4:30pm. They tell him at 4:50pm he needs his parent present. I tell them I will be there in 10 mins. I arrive at 5:02 pm they threw my son out and locked the doors at 5pm. Not the service I would expect. Would not recommend. There are lots of choices out there read more

I love this location!!!! It's definitely quite a drive down here but afterwards you can shop at Trader Joe's & enjoy the ocean. I rarely wait very long & they have great phlebotomists. They accept on-line appointments or walk-ins. read more

My mother in law, who is 101 years old, went in for routine blood work today. She was the only patient there. The "worker" was very unfriendly and kept her waiting for over 20 minutes while she unloaded boxes of supplies. Finally another "worker" arrived and took care of the blood draw. This was the most unfriendly place. We won't go back there. read more

Very easy. Top floor of the PV Promenade. Check in at the kiosk. Leave your lab instructions in a tray at the front desk and they will let you know when to go back for your test. Deneesa was my phlebotomist and she was exceptionally skilled as I didn't have any pain with the draw. She was very professional and friendly and I hope if/when I have to go back she will be my tech. read more

People who DO THE LAB WORK have been fine in the past. But: Labcorp has cancelled 3 of my last 4 appointment on short notice (as little as 3 hours) by email or text. This includes the last 2 in a row, after I rescheduled last week's. If they don't want to pay enough people to keep things going, maybe they should find a business that does not deal directly with customers. read more

The last time we came to this Labcorp about 4 weeks ago with an appointment, we had to wait. And today we come to get blood work and the doors are locked with a note taped to the door saying they're closed due to unforeseen circumstances. PARKING I recommend arriving from Indian Peak Rd and parking on the 3rd floor. (3rd floor being the highest floor, and 1st floor the lowest) LOCATION INSIDE THE PROMENADE MALL LabCorp is on the 3rd floor. Located 2 floors above the LA Kings ice rink. See my photo for reference. WALK-INS Came before they opened at 9am and was a walk-in customer. Got out at 9:45am, as there were already 4 people waiting in line before me. CHECK-IN PROCESS You check in via the computer located to your right when you walk in. Had to scan the back side of my driver license. After checking in, you need to speak with the front desk where they'll verify your information. There were 3 seats available while you wait inside. BLOOD TEST Lady was quick and efficient, and kindly explained the different tubes she had. My vein was not very visible, so she took a few minutes to help my vein pop out more. She was able to get the vein in one go, and overall I was very satisfied with the whole process! read more

Horrible!!! My young son needed to get bloodwork done. Online it says that walk ins are welcomed, so I took him down there to get it done. I get there, there's a sign on the door that says they are not taking any walk ins. Annoying since I drove all that way for nothing, but needed to get it done, so I go inside to try to schedule an appointment. The lady at the front desk says she can't schedule an appointment and that I need to call a number. So I call the number and the automated person on the other line hangs up on me three separate times and will not allow me to schedule. As a last ditch effort, I go online, since that's clearly my only option. After some glitches and slow loading, I finally secure my son's appointment a week out. The day before the appointment I get a text saying they've canceled my son's appointment because they will be closed. What kind of nonsense is this?! They don't make it easy to schedule an appointment, they only take walk ins when they feel like it, and they cancel people's appointments on a whim. What a waste of time and a horrible experience. Never again will I attempt to go to this location. Avoid at all costs if you don't want them to waste your time. read more

If you need to go to a LabCorp to get your blood drawn, I suggest this new location. After making an appointment online, I checked into their automated check in machine in the lobby. You scan your drivers license and health insurance card; it's quick and easy. After check in, I took a seat. After only a couple minutes, the phlebotomist called me up to the front desk and took my paperwork. A couple minutes later, he instructed me where to go in the back. It was quick and painless. Located on the 2nd floor of the PV Mall. I am not a fan of getting blood drawn, but was so pleasantly surprised by what a quick and easy experience my visit to this Labcorp was. My doctor ordered a blood test and when I called Labcorp to make an appointment, the automated voice message said they take walk ins with no appointment necessary. I had a really great experience at this Labcorp yesterday. I bought two blood tests from a third party online and then arrived here with no appointment. There was no wait and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The women who took my blood was extremely professional. Usually nurses have problems drawing my blood because I have small veins but she did great! It was painless, probably the most painless blood drawn I have had. I came yesterday at around 2:30 and woke up to my results this morning. This place is efficient! read more

Convenient location by the movie theater at the shopping mall. The staff was efficient and I was in and out quickly.

Came here 10 minutes before closing on Tuesday and was able to check in very easily using the computer at the front door. The staff is super friendly and very competent. I have extremely small veins and was worried because I've had difficulties in the past getting blood drawn, but the lady here was a pro and got my vein on the first try. This labcorp hits different. I've been to different lab corps and it is usually a bad experience. I was a walk in, and the front of staff told me accurate times. I had been a faithful fan of Quest Diagnostics, in Rolling Hills Estates, until my last visit there, which was horrible. This LabCorp was wonderful, and the people there were very nice. I had to call my physician to have the lab order faxed in, but they waited and then saw me quickly after it arrived. This is my new go-to for all lab work. I waited in a room for 15m to have my blood drawn and the nurse in the next room a nurse named Gracie was having a long and loud conversation about how she doesn't believe in the vaccine. Wow. Where do I begin. First of all they got my first name and last name wrong (which took a week to figure out). Unfortunately the phlebotomist didn't confirm any of my information, other than Date of Birth, before taking my blood. Additionally, they did not inquire into my physician's fax number, so they could not release the results to me until they faxed my physician the results. After nearly five days of waiting, I called this awful location and spoke to "Marcy," who said she couldn't help me and simply referred me to their 800 number. I tried to ask Marcy some follow-up questions, but she ended up hanging up on me. After spending about 20 minutes with the 800 number, the agent I spoke to realized this facility somehow mixed up my first name and last name. And I am still trying to get my lab results.... read more

Excellent service and they did a fantastic job with my toddler. They only had to poke her once and she was fine. She did cry but she always cries. But this time she stopped after the needle was in and she was totally good after. He was very nice and gentle. This is so much better then children's hospital clinic in torrance. read more

The cleanest LabCorp in town. It opens until 6 which was perfect for me since I had to get blood work done after my work hours. It is in Rolling Hills so the road up is uphill and a little windy. There was no other patients there so I checked in and they saw me right away. read more

I made my appointment online for the 3 hour glucose test. The only option it gave me was for a 10:30 appointment. When I checked in with the young man at the front said he said the timing of when my blood needed to be drawn wouldn't work because of their closing time for lunch or whatnot. When I explained that this was the only time I was able to do it and that this slot was the only one available, he completely accommodated me. He is wonderful at blood drawing and did it effortlessly and gently. Park on the top of the structure, as the lab is on the third floor. I highly recommend this facility! read more

Came here to get blood drawn and they were 25 minutes late in getting to me. The electronic sign in feature doesn't properly capture your photo. If they're gonna force us to use electronics, it should at least work properly. Might as well give us a paper and pen option in case there's a snafu with the electronics. I had an appointment this morning and they saw me within 15 minutes. I checked in twice, once through a link on my email and again when I walked into the office. I dont know if that is necessary because when I walked in I wasnt greeted or instructed to check in again but I did anyway because I saw the iPad near the front door. The young receptionist had a really nasty attitude with me. I overheard her being rude to a Spanish speaking patient as well. The 1 star is due to how this location has no signage or crowd management during Covid-19. My family has had multiple very negative experiences with customers who completely ignore the fact there is a line outside. They limit the # of people inside so an obvious line is outside. I've seen others and I too have confronted people bypassing the line and going directly inside. These people are quite rude and ignore the fact they've been told this is a line. I just experienced this today, where I reminded the line cutter we were all waiting outside in line. His reaction was to make it my fault by saying it was a miscommunication by me. What part of this is the line and we're all waiting did he not get. The line included old ladies and disabled people. And Mr. Hangry thought he was the only one fasting... I also witnessed 2 Karens nearly going to blows, with one Karen accusing the other of slamming the door on her, which she said was assault and she was going to call the police. This location absolutely needs to post clear and obvious signs that there is a line outside. The receptionist unfortunately is not able to see if the incoming person is a line-cutter or was actually waiting patiently. Maybe you should have a sign-in sheet outside since the community has displayed no ability to have any respect for anyone. Ultimately, LabCorp needs to do a better job of dealing with the public that has clearly lost its decency. read more

There are no signs leading up to it but you have to park on the top level of the parking structure then walk on the bridge either on the theater side or the opposite bridge where there is more parking. It's in the middle so parking on the opposite side of the theater is preferable. They close at 6pm but last appointment is probably at 5:30pm because they get a lot of business from the medical office nearby. I went at 2:30pm on a Tuesday. There was only one person in front of me and staff were diligent and dare I say... stringent which was off putting at first but I got in and out of there before you can say Phlebotomist. They have water in the lobby and even have two seats that look like a large person or conjoined twins can sit in. read more

She was competent, kind and focused on making me as comfortable as possible. Getting blood drawn can be a scary and uncomfortable situation. Gracey made the ordeal as relaxing as possible.
