Came back today for one of my least favorite things to do...have my blood drawn. I was surprised that I was able to get an appointment when I logged into the website 2 days ago. The phlebotomist told me someone must have canceled when I mentioned it to her today. I arrived about 40 minutes early, but wasn't seen until close to my appointment time as other patients who walked in after me must have had earlier ones. As I watched interactions between staff and patients, I noticed some improvement in service. They must have read their reviews and were a little friendlier. My phlebotomist was skilled and didn't leave me with any bruises. Hopefully I won't have to go back for another year.

Turtle SLOW EMPLOYEES! NO RECEPTIONIS available. Quest got rid of receptionist.

I had insurance change and Lab Corp is no longer in their network. Came to Quest to get a routine annual blood work. I will be changing my network back so I can return back to Lab Corp and Eff this place! Supposedly they do not take walk ins anymore even though their recordings and advertisement say walk ins welcome. They only have 2 patients in the waiting room and keep telling me it will take a while to get to me because they have to take appointments first... basically trying to persuade me and turn me away because of 2 patients in the lobby, lmao! They are so slow it takes them almost 20 minutes to complete one patient which usually a normal blood draws take 5 minutes to complete Monday mid morning, there were 2 nurses and no front desk receptionist to help you at all! If you're a walk in, you have to wait until all the patients with the appointments get seen first. At the slow rate they are going and patients with appointments keep coming in you are pushed back and back and back! That's exactly what they told me. This place is so S.L.O.W. and R.U.D.E. employees with no empathy!! But kill them with kindness and sometimes it works. I get it, it's not all their fault. They are probably understaffed. Blame the corporate, Quest Diagnostic.. they got rid of receptionist because they are cutting back but yet they are busy with lots of patients with only 2 nurses. They close for lunch hour. Wish they would be more efficient like Lab Corp. Shaking my head!

I came here for a routine lab tests. [Parking]: Easy and free designated parking garage. No issue finding a parking at 8:45 AM on a weekday. The office is located on the 3rd floor. [Check-in]: I booked an appointment ahead of time. I initially tried to check in via one of kiosks (have driver's licenses or government issued ID ready), but I noticed somehow my check-in was a walk-in visit (visitors can see the status on the overhead TV screen). So I checked in again using the link given on my text message instead (Labcorp will send the link 24 hours in advance) and this time it worked wonderfully. Checking in using kiosks can be a big risk as the visit could turned an on-time appointment into a nightmare walk-in situation (could be waiting for hours) - so use the link given via the text message! [Note]: Friendly phlebotomist and staff at the front counter. Phlebotomist recommended drinking a gallon of water before the blood drawing - two glasses of water before sleeping and two glasses of water after waking up (drinking water helps phlebotomist having an easier to find veins). [Conclusion]: I was able to complete the whole process in 25 minutes. Expect a solid 4-star experience if everything is executed correctly from scheduling an advanced appointment, checking in via the link on the text message, and arriving on-time.

I asked when I might expect to have blood drawn and they told me I could go to another station and they had no idea of my further wait...after already waiting here 45 minutes. It seemed pretty rude and unprofessional. EDIT: Thanks for the reply and concern. I called Rhonda, who is the supervisor of the this draw station. She stated that the issue this morning was due to COVID-19 creating issues, which I'm not sure is necessarily valid. I appreciate that the Pandemic creates obstacles, but the lobby already limited to only five people with the overflow safety protocols in place. It appeared, based upon what I observed, the office was understaffed since usually there are three people working. If only two people are working and both are focused on the admin, with nobody drawing blood, a delay is inevitable. What I also noticed is that instead of processing the paperwork of one patient at a time, they were not taking patients until batches were completed. There were five people waiting in the lobby and I estimate approximately ten waiting outside or in their vehicles. About thirty minutes into my wait time, I overhead a call made to Rhonda asking for help. Another staff member arrived at the point when I was there for one hour. Rhonda told me that she pulled that person from another very busy draw station. I'm not here to suggest how to run this business, but it appears to me the facility was understaffed. Rhonda's said the solution to this issue is she will tell the staff not to quote wait times, but I believe that may create more customer-service issues. I would consider maintaining a minimum three-person staff for the morning rush of fasting patients, which hopefully would help create a more reasonable flow. I'm sure the poor diabetic who came in after me who wasn't feeling well from fasting would appreciate it, as would I.

I had been needing to get a TB test for my kids school (volunteer) and I just had no idea where to…read morego until someone on our school group chat mentioned this place. Setting the appointment was very easy. Getting there was very easy too. I think they could make the inside look a little better, it looks sooooooo sketchy!!! Beyond. Although it does look like they try to keep it clean, it still doesn't look very clean, looks like a very run down clinic. I decided to ignore that and focus on overall service. Came in on a Saturday morning, didn't have to wait for than 5 minutes before I was seen. The process was super quick. I was out of there within 15-20minutes. With a card and info for me to go between Mon and Tues. which I did. And once again I didn't have to wait, didn't even need an appointment. The girl in the front checked my arm, it was negative. They gave me my paperwork and I was out of there in no time. Definitely recommend them. And will be back in the future if I need them again.

So a lot of the time when you have a new job, there are certain things that you need to get done…read morebefore you start the job. For example, some jobs require fingerprinting and or a health physical and you have to be updated on certain vaccinations, get a Tb test, etc. Instead of going to several different places to get these things done, you can just come to Wellness Mart and get everything done at the same time! Who would've thought right!? I had no idea that something like this even existed until it was recommended to me by an employer. Not only do they offer physicals, fingerprinting, TB test vaccinations, but they also offer CPR & first aid classes, which some jobs also require, and blood tests which other jobs might require, and various other services. The only issue that I had with Wellness Mart is that some employers can be a bit picky as far as how the physical is signed. For example, when I did a physical here they stamped it with their facility stamp in addition to a doctor's signature. However, my specific employer needed the stamp of the doctor, the actual doctor, and unfortunately, that is something that they do not do. I could've just had a super picky person who is looking for things like that because I've never really had an issue before. Before you go to Wellness Mart for a physical, just ask your employer if they require a physician stamp. You don't want to spend the $70 and then get rejected and have to spend money somewhere else. So that's my only issue, they need a physician's stamp for physicals! But anyway, they offer so many other different services. So if you're looking to get things done for your job, I would definitely check them out. You can make an appointment online and then when you enter just check in on the iPad and then you'll be good to go. There is plenty of parking.

After a couple of years of being on the bioidentical hormones I was diagnosed with polycythemia. What this means for me is that it is imperative that I stay well hydrated as well as have a therapeutic phlebotomy every four months. Long story short, my blood has become sludgy due to too many red blood cells. With the thickening of my blood, my healthcare team has become increasingly concerned that it may be harder for my blood to pass through my blood vessels. For this reason (as well as my lab results) it is necessary that I have 1 unit of blood drawn every four months. At first, I turned to a particular blood bank to have this procedure done, but was only turned away, discriminated against, and rejected for being a gay man. When I heard about Allied Wellness Services I was elated... and then, when I heard about them offering mobile phlebotomies, I knew that this was definitely something for me. I had my first mobile therapeutic phlebotomy this past week and it was so easy, convenient, and economical. I found Trina to be warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. All that I had to do was make the call and set up the appointment, Trina did the rest. It was done at my office at a time that worked for me, and we were finished within an hour. Thank you Trina and Allied Wellness for being such a Godsend.

I literally had blood drawn and I didn't even know they stuck me. For over a decade I've had to get regular blood draws from several facilities and many many blood draws when I had cancer. I got needle anxiety from all that poking but I always felt minimal or no discomfort. But today Jorge seemed hellbent on making me feel uncomfortable and insignificant. 1. Rushed me when I was opening my purse to retrieve the ID and insurance card he already asked for 2. Did not acknowledge said cards when I handed them to him. He snatched them from me and walked off without a word 3. He did not ask which arm I preferred for lab draw. In all my entire life as a human being the person who takes my blood ALWAYS asked which arm they could use. Even in a busy Emergency Department they take the time and space to ensure my patient rights and autonomy are honored. I was stunned into silence. But luckily for Jorge he chose the correct arm. 4. He setup and jammed the needle into my arm. No warning. No preparation AT ALL. He just stick me and I was in a lot of pain. I wanted to cry or yell or yank my arm away. I didn't. But I did let him know k was in a lot of pain. He didn't apologize or even seemed like he cared. 5. I asked why didn't he tell me that he was going to poke me. I don't like needles. Having survived cancer and all that poking and poking left me wary of blood draws. EVERY SINGLE BLOOD DRAW BEFORE TODAY has included anticipatory guidance. Jorge said he hadn't heard of it and some people prefer to be poked without being told in advance. I explained that anticipatory guidance is important and he should've given me a choice to have a gentle warning instead of an out-of the-blue painful jab. Another patient overheard our conversation and she wholeheartedly agreed that anticipatory guidance is important. She even explained what it meant since Jorge claimed he was never taught this concept. 6. Jorge shows me a blood tube and asks me to confirm my name. By this point I have no trust in this man. He seems hostile for some reason and is short with me. I'm still upset from his painful treatment of my arm. I ask to visually inspect the tube label closely since I didn't have my glasses. Then I ask to see the remaining tubes which he hands to me....lies them on the table ... when I ask to inspect all of them. I don't trust him and wary of his attention to detail at this point. This review will not be a surprise to him because I told him this was the worst blood draw ever and I've dealt with constant poking with cancer. I was forever being poked and it made me never want to see a needle again. Not because of pain but just emotional wear and tear of that phase in my life. Today when Jorge hurt me it made me feel unsafe because I wondered if had deliberately held back gentleness or a technique to prevent discomfort and anxiety. He was in a funk and I paid for it. If he had further complaints the lab draw station should seriously consider if he's in the appropriate role. And ithe other patient gave me a pittying look. She concurred that she prefers anticipatory guidance to help prevent anxiety and feat of being poked. But nope. Jorge only responded that some people don't wanna know. Well I do and that's my right
