I had an appointment at 9:20a on a Wednesday, got there about 10 min early to check in at their self check in pads. I was called in by 9:28a, assisted by the phlebotomist, drew 3 tubes of blood, and then out within 5 minutes which has been the quickest service I've experienced even with a room filled of people waiting. The waiting area is much larger than lab corps and other quest locations. Overall it's much cleaner and bigger than any other place I've been. I asked if they can simply check if my order was sent here and she rudely states no and that I have to wait to be called . Today i was a walk in. The facility is nice and clean however, Please make sure there is someone with your loved ones who aren't tech savvy. In order to be seen you have to log in through a kiosk. Ive watched so many elderly folks ask for help in both English and Spanish. The other nurses were sweet, kind, and willing to help. This lady however made some feel stupid. Her favorite answer was "WELL I CANT HELP YOU CALL WHOEVER WAS HELPING YOU." Most of the patients in the lobby were elderly Hispanic people. Some didnt know how to use the kiosk or weren't sure how to make their appointments. This lady was rude and definitely made me uncomfortable the way she spoke down on these patients who weren't sure of what to do. I came here a few times when my first choice was unavailable and it's been a nightmare every time. There's usually a person at the front desk but doesn't really help you and just points to the touch screen. I've had issues with a few of their practitioners because they kept saying they couldn't find my vein so instead of asking a coworker for help, they poke you several times until they find it and it's frustrating and a crappy experience. Once, I've asked for someone different because of prior issues and they said either I go through with it or I leave. Their response to customer care is absolutely terrible. There's also ALWAYS a full pack of people at this location which I never understood and the wait time is about 30min to over a hour just to be seen even with an appointment!! My husband had a scheduled appointment for quest diagnostics and his dr sent the labs information by email. When he was called in, they asked for the labs information and he said he didn't have it but he would find it. He was then told by the lab worker that if he didn't have his report she couldn't attend him. He explained it was emailed to him. He showed it to her and she said "that's weird, he never emails lab reports" well he did and here it is. The problem was she wasn't helpful enough to say ok, please email this to us or you can do this and we can continue your lab work. She just said that she needed an actual paper , when he walks away she says "if it doesn't arrive in 2 minutes by email I can't help you" what? She never gave him an email to send it to, she never explained anything to him and he had to ask her for the email and where to send it. By the time he sent it the said his time was up and he could go back and wait in line although he had scheduled that time. The worker was extremely rude and in no way helpful. read more

I paid every time i went in, they slapped me with magical bills that never got sent to my home and I was never notified, then they sent me to collections and refused to do my bloodwork when i went in for work i needed to get done that day for an appointment. They then handed me a phone number and refused to do anything to help or address THEIR failure to send me or notify me of bills I had no idea I had. Add on- they removed my test that I need to schedule an appointment for, now i get to go on a wild goose chase to get my doctor to re submit paperwork for testing. This place is so unorganized their business cards have 563 instead of 562. If you call their phone number there's also zero option to speak with someone to fix anything. For a lab responsible for such crucial data, this place can't even conduct simple tasks as verifying their patients lab paperwork with the prescriber. My daughter has lab work every month for a routine medication but they can't ever seem to get the lab paperwork and will not contact the doctor to get it. The doctor tried to contact them via phone but their mailbox is full. How??? I tried to call as well since I'm the subscriber but the mailbox is full! This has got to be some sort of health violation that I will follow up on! The lab doesn't want to pay anyone to man the front lobby so they just have the phlebotomists come out between patients. Was not a happy camper. Everyone there is usually great. My experience today was horrible. The phlebotomist was just okay when inserting the needle in to draw blood, but when she was done, she actually yanked it out of my arm! It f*@king hurt!! I hope I never get her again. Did a walk in because I couldn't make my appt time. Be prepared for a longer than 1 hour wait time. Technicians will tell you they go in the order of what's on the board and that's a lie I screenshot my name on the board they would pick and choose who they wanted to go and service. Esther was who choose me after the person that was after me was chosen by a bald technician my name was deleted from the board then put back on the board and the name behind mine was removed because they chose her first even tho I checked in earlier. Side note I seen when you chit chat with the technician as names are being called they will get you in earlier than your time if you're not a dark skinned person. Ask that technician she should remember me because I brought it up during the appt time because my name doesn't match my insurance. Then I'm not sure if she wanted me to fake everything because I brought my license and insurance and scanned it into the system at check in. I only come here because I live across the street. There is ample parking here and the best part if they take COVID seriously. The location is very clean and seats are arranged with social distancing in mind. The place smelt like bleach, and when I asked why, the person drawing my blood said they want to make sure everything is sanitary and clean so that no one could potentially get sick from COVID. The lab tech was extremely friendly! Unfortunately, a big difference from other quest locations. The office is really old and looks dirty. But professionalism is what matters to me. If you don't have an appointment just be prepared to wait 2 hours or so but if you're lucky you might get in sooner. It's just the way walk in works. I helped someone with a 10 am Apointment check in at 10:04 and it told him he was 10 min late telling him to reschedule. Then I helped someone else check in at kiosk as well and no confirmation is given after you go through all the steps wether or not your effectively checked in. This visit could've have played out better but the technician was unpleasant, lied to my daughter and mocked her complaints about it hurting. I made the huge mistake of bringing my 8 year old asd daughter here to get her blood drawn. I've never had any problems with her getting her blood drawn and or getting shots. She's very intrigued by it and tolerates pain well. The incompetent phlebotomist was unsuccessful in her first attempt to draw blood and proceeded to try by moving the needle randomly from left to right. I've had the unfortunate experience of having that done to me and it's undoubtedly painful. She blamed my daughter for tensing up for the unsuccessful draw but she only tensed up after she began to move the needle. I could go on because this unfortunately was just the beginning of a horrible experience but I'll end with don't bring any pediatric patients. read more

So...I arrived for my 8:10am appointment this gloomy Saturday morning. I checked in on my phone. Easy peasy. I was there for less than 5 minutes before Anna called me in. This is where the wheels appeared to be falling off. Mind you, Anna and Quest were fantastic. My physician did not send the work order for lab work. Oh no! Anna allowed me to get a hold of my physician's office and they were able to send the order to her. The place is extremely busy. Many people do not make appointments so they have to wait. Anyone who has been to Quest knows they are busy, especially on Saturdays. Anna processed the order, performed her hub and had me out of there in less than ten minutes! Thank you, Anna! I would recommend this location to get blood work done and have the results in a timely manner. I went to this place twice because of the efficiency of the blood work process. I previously went to the downey location and was extremely disappointed by the wait time (20-30 minutes despite scheduling an appointment time) and the delay in results (more than 3 days after my appointment). My experience here was total opposite to the Downey location. I walked in with no appointment (both times) and got my blood work done pretty quickly. Best part: the results were to my doctor within 24 hours!! Will be coming here again to get blood work. Also...the people were friendly and informative. Two thumbs up! read more

I have had my blood drawn twice for my pregnancy and I have received great service both times. Well, you be the judge. Parking: this location shares a lot with LA fitness and del taco. You may not always have parking right in front of the lab but there is plenty of availability. Intake staff: Most of the gals up front are very nice and efficient at making copies of insurance information and other records. Cleanliness: I never found this location to be dirty but this last time I went, the waiting area smelled like urine. Phlebotomist: Candee has been beyond exceptional during both my visits. The first time I visited, my left antecubital space was already all bruised up from my ER blood draw 5 days prior. The ER phlebotomist was rough and did not care. Candee was very gentle and found a tiny spot right in between the bruises to obtain the blood sample. The best part is it did not hurt at all with the butterfly. I departed the lab but when I was almost home. Wendy in the front called to report there were more labs to be drawn and they did not see the additional order script. I had to go back. I requested for Candee again since she already knew my situation. I did not have to wait long since they missed the script the first time around. Candee saw me again and apologized for having to stick me twice. Thank goodness her draws are painless and did not leave a bruise. Today, I went back for my second trimester draw and Candee was there again. Painless procedure. I hope she is able to stay at this location since she did mention she was only a temp. She is really personable and very good at what she does. (10 stars for Candee) I will continue to request her as long as she is available. I just wanted to start this off by saying that I have gone to this location many times because it is the closest to my house. I usually make appointments online. This review is for a previous experience. Check-in is completed using one of three iPads. You have to check-in even for drop-off (and you still have to "wait your turn"). There have been times where a supposed quick drop-off turned into at least a 45-minute wait. There is not enough room for people to sit during peak hours. Many patients elect to wait outside. When they call your name, you better be inside because no one will go outside to call you. The front staff here can have attitude. I had come during the week to drop off a urine specimen for my father and had to wait more than 40 minutes. I checked with the staff around 20 min when the counter was empty and was basically yelled at to "just sit down and wait your turn." When it was finally my turn, I was asked questions about whether the specimen was smelly and why the quantity is huge because "normal" people don't pee as much. The receptionist put on gloves to take the sample, but instead of taking it themselves - it was in the brown drop off bag, she asked me to place it in the collection room myself. Not sure if that's normal protocol. As a health care professional myself, it is easy to understand why some patients are noncompliant to their medications or physician appointments if they have bad experiences at some point along the continuum of care. read more
