    Long lines

Super long lines, no where to sit and no one to speak to if you have a questions. Everything is automated.

This woman is mean, rude, and clearly has no compassion

Today i was a walk in. The facility is nice and clean however, Please make sure there is someone with your loved ones who aren't tech savvy. In order to be seen you have to log in through a kiosk. Ive watched so many elderly folks ask for help in both English and Spanish. The other nurses were sweet, kind, and willing to help. This lady however made some feel stupid. Her favorite answer was "WELL I CANT HELP YOU CALL WHOEVER WAS HELPING YOU." Most of the patients in the lobby were elderly Hispanic people. Some didnt know how to use the kiosk or weren't sure how to make their appointments. This lady was rude and definitely made me uncomfortable the way she spoke down on these patients who weren't sure of what to do. So I made an appointment else where because she definitely made me not want to be there. Smh

Clean establishment, friendly staff but they don't offer employer drug testing.. walked in, got that information walked right out.

First, let me say this place was amazingly clean, and even had refreshments in waiting area. The young lady at the counter was friendly and professional. You hand them your ID and health insurance card... and the rest is done on your phone.. so easy!!! I don't feel the wait was very long, especially for a weekend at an urgent care. I was seen rather quickly and my entire visit, including X-rays, results, medications and paperwork was just over an hour. I think I take longer at my regular doctor sometimes!!! Everyone was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The doctor explained everything to me, they gave me some shots to get thru the day... and I think this was an amazing experience! Highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

Unfortunately, 2 days after visiting, my experience left me frustrated and scratching my head. My main complaint is I was prescribed fluoroquinolone antibiotics (Cipro) for a sting ray sting, without any mention about the well documented risks associated with lasting tendon rupture and collagen matrix disruption. It was only once I'd done my research that I had to call to see if we can switch. One of the PA's (Paula, also exceptional) took my call and even said she was glad that I caught that and did not understand why I was prescribed Cipro when there are much safer alternatives out there. When I had gone in, I was also given a steroid shot to help with inflammation and left in the room for some time. I started to get quite nauseous and felt close to fainting. I had to step outside and call for someone, just to be told "yeah this happens often, forgot to warn you" and "you beat me to checking in on you." What's worse is I came to find out combining fluoroquinolones with corticosteroids (steroid shots) have been documented to a FOURTEEN (14!) FOLD increased risk of tendinopathy and tendon rupture (D. Baggio, M.R. Andana-Rajah, 2021). Why on earth would you combine a fluoroquinolone and corticosteroids? If there are safer antibiotics, why fluoroquinolone alone? The whole experience just feels medically untrained or professionally careless. I'm completely bewildered, and quite frustrated.

I was greeted by a woman at the front desk and taken cared of in the best way by my phlebotomist. I didn't get his name but he did so well with keeping me calm. Unfortunately, I was initially ignored for about a minute, despite standing there clearly needing help. When I was finally acknowledged, I was told, "If you checked in, you need to have a seat and wait to be called." I explained that I was seeking assistance because I was unable to complete the check-in process. While she did eventually help me, her demeanor was not welcoming or friendly. During the check-in process, I was asked to manually enter my insurance information. My primary insurance was not appearing in the system, so I selected "out of pocket" just to complete the check-in. I debated whether I should ask for further assistance because I was already uncomfortable with the interaction. However, I eventually decided to approach Dayleen again to see if she could upload my insurance information. This time, after explaining that I needed help, I was told she was busy. It was unclear whether she wanted me to wait or return later because no guidance was given. I noticed another employee, Pauline, assisting a patient, so I asked if she could help me when she was available. Pauline was kind, professional, and gladly offered to assist me after she finished helping another patient. While I was waiting, Dayleen informed me that Pauline would not be able to help me because accessing my information would require pulling up my account, which could not be done until I was called back for my blood draw. She also stated that they could not "push me ahead of everyone else" and that I needed to take a seat and wait. At no point was I asking to skip ahead or receive special treatment. I simply needed assistance with my insurance information. When Pauline returned, I explained what had been communicated to me. Pauline reassured me that helping me was not an issue. I then expressed that I felt Dayleen had been rude and unprofessional throughout our interactions. Dayleen responded by telling me to "stop and calm down," which came across as aggressive and confrontational rather than helpful. Due to the way the situation was handled, I requested the supervisor's contact information. Dayleen provided it, but her tone remained confrontational. I greatly appreciated Pauline's professionalism, patience, and willingness to help despite the circumstances. I also want to give special recognition to Sam, the phlebotomist. Getting blood drawn makes me extremely nervous, and Sam went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. He engaged me in conversation about my personal life to keep my mind off the procedure, remained friendly and compassionate throughout the appointment, and had a very gentle touch during the blood draw. His kindness and professionalism made a significant difference in my experience. Overall, Pauline and Sam are the reason I am giving this visit 3 stars instead of 1 star. Both provided excellent customer service and demonstrated the level of professionalism and compassion that patients should expect. Unfortunately, my interactions with Dayleen negatively impacted what could have otherwise been a much more positive first experience.

Booking an appointment ahead of time is definitely recommended. My appointment was at 10 a.m. During check-in at the kiosk, it gave me the option to reschedule due to their busy schedule or to "continue." I chose to continue and told myself I'd wait about 20 minutes before considering rescheduling. Surprisingly, about 5 minutes later, I received a text saying, "Your Labcorp technician is ready to see you. Please proceed to the Labcorp check-in area and your name will be called shortly." I went to the lobby, where the front desk staff verified my information and told me they'd be with me soon. My name was called a little over 20 minutes later, and the actual blood draw took less than 5 minutes. Arrive about 15 minutes before your appointment so you'll have enough time to find parking. Friendly and professional staff overall.

After 20 min of waiting, I get called to the front desk and they tell me they don't have my lab requests from my doctor. They tell me I can keep my appt as long as my doctor's office, who already sent it back in March (2months ago), will resend it again. Also proceeds to tell me that if I came in 15-30 min prior to my appointment time, I would be seen on time. What logic is that? No where in the email or text confirmation does it state I need to come in earlier than my set appointment time. I call my doc office to resend it, they receive it at labcorp 15min later. They continue to have me wait and after a full hour since my appt, I still have not been called inside. They claim they keep all requests for a year but don't have my record from 2 months ago? When I do get called it, the tech asks if I have already given a urine sample, when I tell her I haven't, nothing happens. She finishes getting my blood samples and then says I can leave. I had to remind her about the urine sample, which is ridiculous! There should be a checking system to ensure they have everything from their patient before moving on. This office needs a better way to handle, organize and manage the patients info and wait time because this is unacceptable! I would be better off going to the one in Long Beach or Quest next time.
