After 20 min of waiting, I get called to the front desk and they tell me they don't have my lab requests from my doctor. They tell me I can keep my appt as long as my doctor's office, who already sent it back in March (2months ago), will resend it again. Also proceeds to tell me that if I came in 15-30 min prior to my appointment time, I would be seen on time. What logic is that? No where in the email or text confirmation does it state I need to come in earlier than my set appointment time. I call my doc office to resend it, they receive it at labcorp 15min later. They continue to have me wait and after a full hour since my appt, I still have not been called inside. They claim they keep all requests for a year but don't have my record from 2 months ago? When I do get called it, the tech asks if I have already given a urine sample, when I tell her I haven't, nothing happens. She finishes getting my blood samples and then says I can leave. I had to remind her about the urine sample, which is ridiculous! There should be a checking system to ensure they have everything from their patient before moving on. This office needs a better way to handle, organize and manage the patients info and wait time because this is unacceptable! I would be better off going to the one in Long Beach or Quest next time.

I was called in by 9:28a, assisted by the phlebotomist, drew 3 tubes of blood, and then out within 5 minutes which has been the quickest service I've experienced even with a room filled of people waiting. The waiting area is much larger than lab corps and other quest locations. Overall it's much cleaner and bigger than any other place I've been. I'll definitely be booking future appointments at this location! Quick, clean, and professional!

However, to check in before the appointment time and not be seen for almost 40 minutes to pee in a cup is insane. The area was in disarray and there were no announcements made regarding the timing of which people were being brought in, unless you went up to someone and asked. The lab tech that assisted me, S. Vasquez, was rude and dismissive. She called my name, I responded, she asked for my registration number and I said it's here on my number and then she asked for my ID, I said it's right here in my wallet (mind you, my wallet is attached to my keys which were in my purse, readily available). I was then told to "wait out here until you get your stuff ready then I'll be back." Hm. Okay? Then someone else was called in by another tech and was asked for the same information, they said it was in their purse and allowed right in. But I was told to stay outside. Then when I was finally let in, I showed her what she asked for then was told to put my purse into their lockbox. I was given my cup and instructions "fill the cup to the line, put the rest of the urine in the toilet, do not flush and only 4 minutes to do so." I was then told to sit down and fill out some paperwork and sign. When I went to leave, there was a purse on top of the lock box. I asked whose it was because I did not feel comfortable touching someone elses belongings. Another lady who was getting labs retrieved her purse, I then went and got mine from the container. I received unfair treatment and left upset and confused. I do not like to give 1 stars because nothing could possibly be *that* bad which is why I'm giving 2 stars. This interaction was definitely 1 star and I will never be coming back to this Labcorp if I can avoid it. Thanks for listening.

And that's not just this location, it's all Quest location's that do that. I've experienced that with the appointment, you'll be seen right away or in a few minutes at this location compared to other Quest Locations where you have to wait several or even a hour which is unbelievable. What I like about this place is that they're quick with their work and have an easy time finding your vein to get your blood. I've tried other locations and they've always had to poke me a couple times just to find my vein or had communication issues. I've never had any problems with this Location as I'd come and be out the door in a couple of minutes.

There are signs that welcome walk-ins but it is nothing welcoming about it. Idk how the standby line is managed, clearly it is not. A staff member also mentioned to standby patients that their service is not guaranteed if they are not called by 4pm. Walk-ins should not be welcomed, it should not be an option.
