I needed to get some labs done, but had no time during the week. Thankfully, this place has Saturday appointments. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment, used the tablet to sign in, and was out the door 5 minutes after my appointment time passed. The phlebotomist was excellent, and was able to draw blood with one poke (I'm not always the easiest subject for that task). No pain and no subsequent bruising. All in all, this was as pleasant of an experience as one could have under these circumstances. Great job--I'll be back (if I have to be). read more

Arrived at 10:25 AM to drop off a test sample. Forced to wait for an hour and a half just to drop it off. All they had to do was take it and scan it. Was next on the list and they refused to take it at noon. Now the sample is ruined and we have no test results for a senior citizen with possible dangerous bowel infection! I didn't get the name of the woman who was helping us, but she was so kind, patient, and we had the best service with her. This was our second interaction at this quest and I've had the best experiences with explanations, details and overall feeling like a sense of no judgment and was genuinely happpy to do her job. That goes a long way because you would think with such repetition it would become boring and the enthusiasm would decrease. However our experience was amazing and would recommend this specific facility of quest for labs. read more

Had an appointment, checked in through the link that was emailed/txt to me. Within 5 mins, I was txt that they were ready for me. I headed inside, within 1 minute the phlebotomist came to get me. I have been at this location many times. Very welcoming; fast in and fast out if you have made an appointment. Check in process (if you have an appointment) is via text or your can walk up the 2 kisoks. Open Saturdays, but I highly recommend for you to make an appointment two weeks before. My cardiologist wanted wanted some blood work done right away, so I looked at the different locations to see if there were any openings today before I left his office (it was just after 3PM). Herndon and Maple had a number of openings, so I booked for 420. As it turned out, I arrived at Quest almost an hour early. I went ahead and checked in, and hoped to myself that I wouldn't have to sit there for an hour. Score! A couple minutes after check-in, my name was called! The blood draw was quick and painless. I've never been jabbed so hard. I don't understand why the phlebotomist jammed the needle in my arm. I get lab work done each year and my new dr sent my order to this clinic. I've never been a fan of quest but figured many years had passed so I'ld give it another chance. You cannot call to speak with an actual human. Making an appointment is done online or over the phone... terrible. Once you arrive.. again no humans. You check yourself in and wait to get jabbed. On top of it the employee didn't pay attention to how many tubes of blood would be required so she had to jab me twice. Although she was very sweet her technique is terrible. Went in for my 1 year old. Went in on a Tuesday afternoon on appointment. Only 2 people in the waiting room. The wait wasn't long. it was our turn. The nurse was so sweet and interactive with him. Really took care of not only him but me as well. Very comforting and supportive nurse she was! Very quick and smooth blood draw that my 1 year old did not cry. I was shocked. He took it very well. Just thought I make people aware. Quest diagnostics has a blood test for Vitamin D levels for $29.99, on line, no doctor orders required. Since my dr ordered some other (needed) blood tests I asked if he could just add checkmark to the order for vitamin D test since it's only $29. I would pay. Well, because I went through my doctor and insurance, I now have a $241 bill for a $29 test. I asked Quest to adjust they said no because I went through my insurance and didn't do it on line WTF! I asked if I could talk to someone that would make sense of this they said no and there's NO appeal process for the scam! I asked if this is the exact same test as the online $29.99, she said yes! No shame! It was not a necessary test so insurance doesn't pay. So same time to draw blood for covered tests, same everything and probably seconds to test that portion of my blood and they claim i now owe $241.00 read more

This site needs a better process for checking in walk-ins on Saturday & some additional training in customer service for the gentleman working the front desk. He was more interested in his coffee and making jokes with his coworker than being friendly or helpful. I've been to this site before using a novel insurance through the VA and everything went smoothly but I won't be surprised if I end up with a bill this time. When you have a long line forming outside but 2 check-in monitors, inevitably one line will move faster and end up checking in clients out of order of when they actually arrived. DO NOT GO HERE!! Go to a different quest. The people here are absolutely awful! Rude, condescending & take forever. I came, waited a while (actually went to get food because it took so long) and when they text messaged that it was my turn, it still wasn't my turn. I was rudely commanded to "sit down and wait." Which, I don't mind waiting, I share that to tell you that when it finally was my turn, the lady was so horrible to me that I actually chose to leave and go to a different office no matter how much time I had already invested. This office is not handling COVID safety protocols correctly. There is a woman in here coughing, sniffling, sick as hell, and is inside the lobby with her mask pulled down. Before I realized she was sick, I checked in and said I would wait in the lobby. Upon realizing this selfish b**ch was sick, I immediately went to the front desk to inform them that I would be waiting outside. A blonde woman approached me and asked if I had a question. I began to let her know that I would be waiting outside. She asked me if I had checked that option when checking in, and if I left a phone number for them to contact me. I said no, and before I could even explain myself, the blonde lady cut me off and rudely said "then there's no way we can contact you that your next" and quickly took off from the front desk. I patiently waited for someone to return to the front desk so I could explain myself, but no one has returned. It has been 20 min, and no one as returned to the front desk. I have to get my blood test done today, or I would take off. It's unbelievable how rude the staff is and also how inconsiderate other human beings can be. There are so many older people, who are at risk, in this lobby. And for them to completely ignore and ALLOW this sick woman (who has got to be in her 20s) to sit in this lobby with her mask down and coughing up a storm, is absolutely sickening. I received a call to go back due to this. then today a man younger in age literally jabbed me harder than i've ever been poked in a vein closest to my elbow. There are two things I should mention. First, Roxann treated me with dignity and kindness. She put me at ease! Second, While I was waiting, I saw Roxann helping other clients with checking in without being impatient or demanding. The place was new, it was clean. I got there bright and early. Everyone was nice, even the old couple sitting in the waiting room. Plenty of parking. So what's my problem? Well, they took my paperwork, then asked me to sit. I thought...piece of cake. Then 10 minutes go by.....15....20.....25.....30.....40....OMG did they die back there?......another 10, then another and another. Finally, they asked me for my identification. OMG! Are you kidding me? I gave it over and was asked to wait. I asked, how much longer? She said they were running behind. I responded good natured of course, "To say the least!" So, I started talking to the elderly couple waiting, they were so cute! Turns out they had been there since 1952! OMG! I became despondent. Then I started this internal dialogue--should I just ditch my license and get another or wait it out until Humans finally achieve the ability to use 100% of their brain? Finally, I was woke from a dozing sleep and asked to "follow me". They drew my blood, it took 3 mins. I was given my ID back and free to go. I went in for emergency labs on Saturday after visiting urgent care and they refused to do it. Other people waiting told me they were rude and good luck getting it done without an appointment. The tech was so rude for no reason! Snotty and more rude than I have experienced, the other tech there was horrible as well. I will never go there again. I will use the one on West and Herndon near my home or the lab through Saint Agnes on Milburn and Herndon. They are actually the best and alway my preference. read more

Do not trust this business, go to an outpatient lab at a local hospital or urgent care center. Here is my experience: I have visited four, yes FOUR, locations in Fresno, and have been disappointed at every one of them. I have arrived before the posted closing time to find doors locked (they closed earlier than the posted times), incorrect hours posted online at another location. I have tried to make appointments online, and the website crashed. On another occasion I successfully made an appointment online, but when I arrived at the lab they had no record of my appointment made (even after I showed them the confirmation number). On the same occasion, I waited in the waiting room for an hour only to be turned away because my two hour lab would put the workers ten minutes over their closing time. This business is infuriating. I will never be using this business again, and I advise all of my friends and family to do the same. read more

I used this Quest location a lot when I was pregnant for all of my lab work. I hate needles and the staff was always really nice and accommodating even though I am high-maintenance and cry when I get blood drawn. The location is convenient and parking is ample. There is a lot of seating in the waiting room which is nice. Another plus is that there are a lot of outlets so people who are there for a long time (glucose tests, etc) can charge their phones. I have gone to this location with and without an appointment and am always in and out pretty quickly. I think the longest I had to wait was about 20 minutes without an appointment. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the water fountain in the waiting room has been out of order for quite some time so you have to ask for cups of water if you need it. Scheduled an online appointment for 1 pm arrived early and was met at door, took temp. And was seated inside. A full room separated by 6 feet between chairs. 30 min after my scheduled appointment I was called to the desk to resubmit my info from preregistration online. During the 30 minute wait the blond receptionist had an insulting conversation with a customer where she stated the worst part of The Pandemic was customers attitudes. She basically badmouthed previous customers to the entire waiting room. At the desk she stated that she didn't have my paperwork from my Dr. My Dr. stated that it was emailed to Quest and she couldn't find it. This receptionist stated I needed to call my Dr. because as this has repeatedly happened. (not my problem your system is flawed) She indicated that the Dr. needed to fax it to the Maple office Specifically and that sending it to Quest thru an email has been getting lost. I was livid and told her I had patiently waited for 1/2 an hour and this should have been discovered at my PREARRANGED online appointment. I said I would step outside and call my Dr. and expected to be seen as soon as possible. As I was leaving the office to remove myself from continued exposure this employee said to the waiting room " that's what I'm talking about" to the room....I don't care what you thought of my pointed comments, you are in the wrong for not providing timely service and not having the tools you clearly stated and failed to provide at Quest. This woman needs to be in intensive customer service training or should be fired for her abrasive and vocal behaviors. They billed my insurance company $916.00 for a thyroid and iron level test for my daughter. They are trying to get the biggest bang for the buck as far as cash from the customer. There are several other local labs besides Quest. i will not longer do business with these sharks. read more
