The staff at this lab are phenomenal. They are very patient and understanding with my family member. They are kind and friendly. The only complaint I have is that it takes well over a week to get results, even with dr's request to cc me on these results. My family member has weekly blood draws necessary to confirm his dose is correct. Having to wait so long means med adjustments have to wait. read more

Showed up after going to the auburn blvd location since that location had wayyyy too long of a wait. Turns out this location, which their never ending phone tree told me was the next closest place - was "emergency" closed until further notice. This company is easily one of the top 5 worst experiences I've had with any company I've ever dealt with. read more

Meanest, rudest most unprofessional woman I have ever encountered was working at the front. It was my 3rd attempt to be seen at 3 different quest locations. She took pleasure in telling me "we do not take walk ins" would not let me get a word out as I tried to explain that I did in fact have an appointment but that location closed for an emergency. The sign in the door of the closed place directed me to this location. Didn't matter. Wouldn't even let me speak. But most importantly I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THR WHOLE LOBBY. There was no other person waiting or walking in. She just kept cutting me off mid sentence telling me I was a walk in. I can't even describe how negative and bizarre she was. Never again. I will use Lab Corp for all my needs. Gross read more

I went to Quest Diagnostics · 1600 Creekside Drive. Suite 1100 Folsom, CA 95630. Directions · (916) 984-8032 on 9/7/2021 and I had an appointment for 1:30 PM but I had seen it as 10:30 AM so I got there early and checked in and this lady comes out and says that they don't have me on the schedule which is not true so I show her my appointment and she says come back at 1:30 PM. On the website for quest it says that they take walk-ins and she was unwilling to do anything regarding my appointment then she tells me to check in as walk in when I come back. I come back at noon and she again takes me off the list and then again I come back at 1:15 PM which my appointment says to check in 15 minutes earlier and she again takes me off the list and says I have to check in again but exactly at 1:30 PM. This lady wanted to do a power trip over me and I am sure if she had the ability she would have cancelled my appointment and I am so disappointed with quest for hiring such unprofessional people and I and my family will not go back. From looking at the reviews it appears that I am not the only one encountering this person. Maybe quest needs to investigate this person's unacceptable behavior. I am sure they can find out who it is by the date and time line I have given. The phlebotomist that took my blood was excellent. read more

This place is HORRIBLE! DO NOT go here! Turn around! I had an appointment here and still waited 50 minutes to get in to see someone. Britney and Sarah stabbed my daughters arm and caused her to profusely bleed all over her clothes and then onto the car. They didn't get the blood drawn because they scarred her arm first thing. I'm not sure when I'll even be able to go back. Her arm was bleeding for a while and I was considering going to the ER. Do not go here- the girls never said sorry but just tried to put a bandaid on the wound- it fell off because there was blood everywhere. read more

It took over 2.5 hours to get a blood draw and urine sample...even with an appointment! :( They are understaffed, unsympathetic, and only one working toilet that wasn't even clean in a lab that is supposed to collect urine samples. Seriously? I had an appointment but they were so far behind schedule I had to leave after 45 minutes without getting my blood drawn...after fasting all night and preparing diligently for these medical tests. I returned an hour later, and had to wait another 1.5 hours as a "walk-in" though my posted waiting time in the que was 22 minutes. Why? Because one of the technicians had to leave for lunch, so my remaining wait time was essentially doubled after that. I was fasting and starving too...but apparently the customer is the last person to get any consideration around here. Do yourself a favor and schedule your medical tests at a different location. read more

Was seen at my appointment time which was nice. But it is possible that the phlebotomist who drew my blood had never done this before. I told her I had good veins on my left arm and she insisted on doing the one on my right. She then tied My tourniquet very loose. She couldn't feel a vein...not sure sure who could with it tied so loose. She then advanced the needle and no blood came out. She sat there wiggling the needle in my arm. (Very painful) I felt the needle nearly pull out and then re advance. I felt myself passing out. The phlebotomist asked for assistance and the staff literally stood above me just staring....I've had my blood drawn plenty of times with great success I and have been told I have good veins. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I have been using the Quest Lab in El Dorado Hills for the past 2 years. But do to a recent issue, I was only able to get an early morning appointment with the Folsom location. All my recent medical visits continue to require masking, it is stated on the websites, in the office and the staff gently reminds those who walk into the office to please wear a mask and offer a mask when necessary. When I arrived for my appointment yesterday, at least 75% of those in the waiting room were maskless, when I was called back, I coontinued to see the staff bringing the maskless people back into the office. She asked if I wanted to produce a urine sample, and I declined, saying just take the blood and that I did not want to go into a small ventilated bathroom where someone unmasked had just been. I am a retired healthcare worker myself, and I understand it can be challenging to enforce masking, but no attempts were made by the staff to enforce. Last week at my PCP appt, the staff enforced the masking in a professional manner and EVERY one complied. I will not be going back to this location, and wanted to warn others if this is important to steer clear of this location. read more

I spoke with a customer service rep on the phone today and explained how wrong I was about something. This place is very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. My daughter and I both had labs last week and we were treated with the upmost respect. Not only that, the tech who did our labs only took ONE try and was successful! My daughter's and especially my veins are very hard to find. I have had approx. 10 tries in one day at once and another, they had to use an ultrasound to locate my vein. This experience was very calming and allowed BOTH of us not to be as afraid as we are. Thank you to the entire team! read more

I needed a series of blood tests for a physical at UCDavis. They are requiring appointments, but I walked in and they gave me one same day in two hours from when I walked in. When I returned for my appointment, they took me right back, drew the blood (no pain!) and had me back on my way. The UCDavis paperwork apparently has changed and I needed to go back to UCDavis and get the appropriate order for the tests, which was irritating - that is a UCDavis issue though. Quest results were available in 3 business days, and I got a copy of the results in the Quest portal. read more

Online says they open at 7:00. If you call and listen to the hours, it says they open at 7:00. Only the sign on the door says they open at 7:30, which is actually true. Wish my doctor would send me for blood work to pretty much anywhere else because I've never had a positive experience here. read more

So far I'm batting a thousand with poor service from quest. This time I was told to make an appointment inlue of just stopping in and waiting. I went to the website, logged in and made the appointment time. Very simple to do. When I arrived for my appointment I was not listed and I was told I would have to wait for 6 or more people ahead of me. Here's an update. It's now been an hour and 45 min. The waiting room is full with 9 other waiting. There are only 2 workers here and 2 that left for lunch while patience still wait. Shame on you Quest. Simply stated...Quest Diagnostics sucks. Since they are the only place offering this service they have you over a barrel with know options to protect your dignity and time wasted. read more

Don't know what all the negativity is about. I guess each to their own, but I never had an issue. In and out. I made an appt and when I arrived it was not busy so got in even sooner. Super nice and very competent. I'd go here again, even without an appt. Of course you're gonna wait with no appt and arriving first thing in the am is destined to be busy. Just have to plan accordingly or know that there may be a wait....10 out of 10 for me. Everyone here was super nice too. Which is a plus. read more

This location is the worst I've ever been in. While I was waiting there was 1 person ahead of me. Another came in told them she made her appointment 3 weeks ago. They kept telling her she didn't have one. This went on for more than 5+ minutes. they told her she couldn't just walk in. The way she was being treated embarrassed me since I worked in healthcare most of my life. When she asked me I told her I had a appt and just received a check in by text. So she checked and came back to tell me I was 10 minutes late. I was in the waiting room for some minutes before even being noticed. There was a lot of laughing in the back with not one person checking their waiting room. By the time they decided to go to the front desk the waiting room was over full. That's when she told me I was late. That was when she told me I wasn't going to be seen. It's sad that so many rude employees in one office. I usually Go to the office on Prairie City and it's like clockwork. The employees are fantastic every time. Personable, caring and prompt. So I will avoid the 1600 Creekside office, they played around after lunch and didn't take patients in at their appointed times and turned it on the patient's. Amazingly incompetent. I used that office several years ago and nothing has changed. I wouldn't go there. We have 2 Quest Diagnostics in folsom. read more

I wish I could leave a negative 5! Worst service ever! Employees have attitudes and do NOT make you feel welcome there. I came in for lab work and they didn't even draw the correct labs so I had to come back. On top of that they tried to charge me for their mistake! They need New staff. I would recommend you go elsewhere. read more

Not very organized. More than once they messed up my blood work. Never had such problem with any other Quest locations in the area.

Don't go here if you can help it. Never staffed completely. The staff working always tell you "someone else is supposed to be working with me but I am all alone"...woe is me. I walked out after it took 30 minutes to get one patient done. What a nightmare. If I was. It mandated to go there I would NOT, read more

Satisfactory. I go here because it's close to my doctors office. However there is a wait even with an appointment. The front desk girls are rude and nasty, every single visit. The people doing the blood draws have been friendly and gentle though. My last visit, they missed a draw for one of my tests and i had to go back two weeks later for a do-over after my doctor discovered they missed one. Not great. read more

The staff at this location are so unprofessional. They are rude and take patients out of order regardless if they have an appointment or not. read more

Awful lab. Had an appointment and still waited a half hour. Very Curt and cold front desk person who said as few words as possible and wouldn't look me in the eye. Will never return here. read more

The absolute worst !!! Staff is too busy socializing with each other and eating to pay attention or help anyone. Wish I knew how to dr.aw my own blood even if I had to use a rusty nail it would be better. Worst part is there at least 10 employees and management doesn't do a day thing. read more

I don't usually go to this location because they are usually so busy, but today I stopped in on the way out from my doctors appt. They were busy as usual but I had the pure joy of a technician from El Dorado Hills. Her name was Jennifer & she was an absolute angel!!! I did NOT feel the stick of the needle & no bruising! I'm going to try & always go to EDH for all of my lab needs. read more

This is the worst LabQuest office. The service is very poor. Sylvia Rodriguez, the receptionist at the front desk is incompetent. I was stung by a bee and my doctor ordered a Bees allergy test. She turned me away today because she stated that she couldn't check all the bees test on her computer screen. When I escalated the issue, she connected me to her regional trainer, Dustin Herscher who was extremely rude and was not willing to listen. Lab Quest does not care about the patients and would rather turn away people who have a life threatening allergy than doing the right thing. DO NOT GO THERE..... read more

This is the worst lab I've ever been to, wait time was over an hour and we were the first ones in the building! If you must come, don't get the guy (igor?) he stuck me 4 times before having to get one of other gals to finally get me. read more

The receptionist is not very helpful. She tells you the expected wait time is one hour or more. You leave and come back in 40 min, you are told you were already called and have to wait an hour more. What kind of empathy these guys show for people who are on fast to get their tests done? It is Disgusting to face this kind of customer service. read more

Why bother making an appointment? They don't seem to care. Its first come first served at this location.
