From the moment I arrived I felt like the person is trying to make my visit hell. Not just give me terrible service but actual made me feel uncomfortable. I was sent here as part of a study, not by a specific doctor but by a medical group that was unfamiliar to me. The front desk guy was literally looking at my order online but refusing to acknowledge it. He wanted to know the name of my doctor, of which I had no clue as I never saw a doctor. Insisting on collecting my insurance information even after I was told my insurance was not involved. He had all my information, was looking online at my appointment but being as rude as he could. Kept asking me more and more questions to why I didn't know who the doctor was. Then, the receptionist is the same person who draws my blood, that makes me very scared as he seems pissed off at me. I never was rude, short or anything else, I think he just hated his job and he is the one that draws my blood, I wonder if he is the one who cleans the toilets as well Never LABcorp again! I was told I had to repeat the entire blood draw because my original sample and results could not be located. This is more than an inconvenience--it is alarming. What happened to my blood sample? Was it lost, mislabeled, or discarded? Patients trust Quest with sensitive medical information and specimens that can directly impact their health and treatment. Losing a blood sample is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about quality control and patient safety. No patient should have to wonder where their specimen went or be forced to repeat testing because of an internal error. I hope Quest investigates what happened, improves its tracking process, and provides accountability so this does not happen to anyone else. And the staff doesn't take this matter lightly!

She came to my home for a blood draw and made the entire experience smooth, quick, and stress-free. She was right on time, extremely professional, and incredibly gentle--found the vein on the first try and I barely felt a thing. Jessica has a warm, calming presence and explained everything clearly. I really appreciated how efficient and kind she was throughout the process. No more struggling to get a timely appointment at Quest or LabCorp and sitting in their waiting rooms. Would give ZERO stars if Yelp allowed it…read more Booked a mobile blood draw in advance. She confirmed TWO HOURS before the appointment (photo attached), I replied that we were all set--and then she pulled a Houdini. Except Houdini usually showed up before he disappeared. No show. Two unanswered texts. Three unanswered calls. And still--not a text, call, apology, smoke signal... nothing. Apparently I unknowingly booked the premium disappearing-act package. I took time off work and had a 3 PM deadline to overnight the bloodwork, so her vanishing act left me scrambling and completely screwed up my afternoon. I understand emergencies happen. Although apparently "I need to get my nails done today" qualifies as an emergency serious enough to ghost a client. And obviously sending a 10-second cancellation text would've been reckless--can't risk smudging the polish. Priorities. Thankfully, I found another mobile phlebotomist who accomplished what apparently requires supernatural abilities: she answered her phone AND showed up--with less than 30 minutes' notice. Apparently reliability isn't a superpower after all--it just requires basic professionalism. And Houdini? Still missing. No apology, no explanation, no acknowledgment whatsoever. Luckily, that's one disappearing act I'm perfectly happy never seeing the encore to. Apparently the "mobile" part of mobile phlebotomy means you'll be the one running all over town trying to find someone who actually shows up. If you're looking for reliability, communication, or basic common courtesy, I'd suggest making all three disappear from your expectations before booking with OC Coastal Mobile Phlebotomy. I ended up using Single Poke, and the difference was almost comical. They answered, communicated, and actually showed up--with less than 30 minutes' notice. There's probably a reason they have 35 five-star reviews. Turns out the real magic trick isn't disappearing--it's actually showing up for the appointment you confirmed.
