She truly listens to her clients and delivers exactly what you ask for. I highly recommend Coco for any alterations. She is talented, professional, and such a wonderful person. I couldn't be happier with how my wedding dress turned out. Thank you, Coco, for making my dress absolutely perfect and helping make my wedding day so special!

I came to Miss Coco's Alterations to alter my bridesmaid dress that I got off Azazie. I went in…read morewanting just a hem, but after consulting with Coco, she suggested tightening up the shoulder seam so that the bust of my dress didn't sag as much. I had read the reviews before going to her, so I was aware of Coco delivering a day late on alterations. I went in on June 18th to get my dress altered, and Coco told me to come in on July 2nd to pick up my dress. On July 2nd, I actually called her beforehand to confirm that my dress would be ready. She asked me for my dress color and then said to come by any time before 5pm. My dress was not ready. I drove over, and Coco told me that she was still working on my dress. She also mentioned that the person who usually steams all the finished pieces had already left for the day, so she needed an additional day. I was fine with her needing extra time, but I wish she had said that over the phone before I made the drive. I thought that was inconsiderate, especially since I had already been proactive about calling beforehand to confirm that the dress could be picked up. Nonetheless, the alterations turned out nicely. The hem of the dress worked beautifully with the heels I chose, and the tightened shoulder seams made the dress fit much nicer. I felt so confident wearing this dress at my friend's wedding. The hem and shoulder seam adjustments totaled $80. I don't have a frame of reference for the average cost of alterations for formal attire, so I can't tell if it was reasonable. I would definitely recommend getting your clothes in earlier rather than later to accommodate for any potential delays.

(This place has moved! So it is not closed, I posted their new info at the bottom of my review)…read more This is not my first time here. (I found this place after a yelp search) I saw photos and reviews of future brides literally trusting this place with the most important clothing item in the world.. their wedding dress At my first visit, I brought in a Versace cape. it was on sale, except it was 3 sizes too big. I was a little nervous since this cape did have embroidery and heavy detail on the sides, so I knew it was going to be hard to do, but she said it wouldn't be a huge issue. But she did see it immediately and pointed out she could only take it in so much so it didn't ruin the embroidery pattern. She gave me a quote that was under 100 dollars (so, it was totally worth buying on sale even though I knew it was 3 sizes too big and would need altered) (she literally saved me thousands) She called me about 2-3 days later for pick up, and she knocked it out of the park I came back in for more alterations and I was immediately greeted by the owner,Kim, who is so warm and friendly. She's extremely honest about what CAN and CANNOT be done. And, gives you honest prices. She really aims to get the job done and up to everyone's standards to make sure everyone is happy. She's so professional yet so warm and friendly. I seriously love how talented, Kim is. I brought in a Gucci cardigan that had a little snag in it that was turning into a BIG snag. She was honest about the fact she couldn't do much. I told her it did not have to be perfect, I just did not want it getting worse. She actually called me same day and told me it was ready for pick up. The job she did was FLAWLESS! And she charged only 20 dollars Then, my third visit. I needed these items done. -light blue dress that needed taken in because it was a size too big -a sheer maxi dress that needed taken in all over and about 9 inches taken off the bottom -blazer style dress that needed taken in And a couple other items. However, I noticed the owner, Kim, who was there for 20 years had already moved. Please, spread the word. If you or anyone you know, needs some tailoring by highly qualified professional with tons of experience and family owned. I'm extremely sad this tailoring staple in OC has moved due to the rent almost doubling. They have been around for 20 years. She did say she would be doing some work from home and at other locations (fountain valley) -I'll definitely bring all my summer dresses that need fixed *their statement We have relocated to a private Fountain Valley studio! She has a YouTube channel that my…read moreMom watches all the time and it's the reason why we went here to get custom ao dais for my brother & SIL wedding. 1. Made an appt with her ahead of time for 10am on Sat. Got there at 10, store was closed. My Mom called her and she said she's on the way. Waited 20 mins. When Dung got there, no apology or anything for being late. 2. We put in an order for custom ao dais to be made in Vietnam. She wrote down measurements and we sent her photos as well. Said she'll put in the order after Tet since they're closed for 2 wks and that she'll let my Mom know in a month on the price once she hears from Vietnam. Over 1.5 months passed, no word. Mom calls her and Dung said she completely forgot our order. On top of that, she asked my Mom if my Mom remembered where she wrote down our measurements. Huge red flag if you have to ask your customer where you put your own notes. 3. Very unapologetic about the whole situation and this is for a wedding, which we were on a timeline for. At this point, we didn't even want to go through with her. Poor customer service that you forgot and did nothing to try to make it right. 4. At the appt, my Dad also came in and told Dung that my Mom is a fan of her YouTube videos. She was quiet and said nothing. You'd think for someone who has a good following on YouTube that she'd be a bit more grateful to their customer, but from the very start she was distant and cold to us. Overall, just a horrible experience. Especially when this is for a wedding.
