Very fast response time, efficiency, and solid work. I came a day before my trip to get 3 pairs of pants altered. 2 pairs needed alteration at the waist and another for length. I asked for same day pick up and they were able to accommodate that. The lady at the counter was able to help me quickly and figured out what adjustments I needed in less than 5 minutes. I brought my pants in at 11am and they had it done by 4 pm and they fit really well. For the service and work, the prices were very reasonable! read more

I posted this review on Google but I would like to do the same for Yelp: Great business with awesome staff and service. This is my go-to place for any alterations and dry cleaning. I pretty much go here every week to get my work clothes dry cleaned and I have not encountered any issues.

The owner was so sweet and helpful!! She literally made my day by helping me create my Coachella outfit !! She's so talented

Charm did such a great job replacing my broken zipper on my silk dress! The zipper replacement is flawless; it's feels more sturdy than before, and still sits invisibly. You wouldn't be able to tell it was ever broken. I told Charm that I needed my zipper fixed quickly and she was able to accommodate me. The ladies who work here are so sweet. read more

I've been going to Babe for years for my dry cleaning and tailoring/alterations and they always deliver. So very sad they are no longer doing dry cleaning services near me. Hope they bring this service back as I don't trust anyone else with my dry cleaning. I went to someone else and they ruined my clothing. For now, will have to go to them for my alterations and tailoring needs. read more

They are great! Worked on a very timely manner. And prices are practical and reasonable

I brought in a formal dress with three layers of fabric that I needed many changes done to and Babe really did a wonderful job! They added beautiful sleeves, fixed the plunging neckline, completely changed the lace-up back to a zippered back using material that they had cut from the hem (I also had needed it shortened) and just overall transformed the dress in all of the ways I asked for. I loved the results and I got many compliments on my dress at my event. The prices are really reasonable and they texted me back when I had questions. I definitely recommend Babe. read more

I decided to pick up my clothes from this cleaner yesterday one last time since they are not very reliable when it comes to being at their establishment. Before I left my work in Irvine, I called the owner to make absolutely sure that they were going to be open at 4 - 4:30 pm that day. I even mentioned that I was talking specifically about their location at Euclid and Cerritos Ave. The owner said they were going to be open. When I got to that location at 4 pm, there was a note on the front door that said "I'll be back soon". UNBELIEVABLE! I called the owner to express my disappointment. I had to wait another 15 minutes before someone finally came so I can retrieve my clothes. One of the hallmarks of a good dry cleaning establishment is punctuality and adhering to stated times of operation. Another hallmark is being able to trust the word of the owner. Obviously, neither of these tenets happened. This establishment is primarily a tailor, that pretends to be a dry-cleaning business. I cannot speak about their tailoring business, since I never tried it. However, I can say this about their dry-cleaning business--they are NOT punctual, they DO NOT adhere to their stated hours, and you CANNOT trust the words coming out of the owner's mouth. Yesterday was the last time I'll go to that establishment for dry-cleaning services. I would never recommend this establishment for dry-cleaning services. read more

After cancelling our wedding, due to Covid, we spontaneously & lovingly decided to have an intimate ceremony/elopement on what would have been our actual wedding date. I went in a week before with my wedding dress in hand & the moment i met Charm she was so wonderful ! My dress is gorgeous and she made it fit perfectly . She did the following alterations: * brought in the sides * brought up the halter * inserted new pads * hemmed the length She did all these alterations in a matter of 3-4 days and was always available via phone. She also offered to steam my veil. Such a sweet person and I'm so thankful i came to her thank you so much ! " Give credit where credit is due " read more

I was looking for nearby places on yelp to get my oversized jeans tailored. Bebe cleaners was the only one that opened later, so I decided to go. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm so glad I came here. The seamstress had me try on my jeans so she could make correct measurements, and she asked me to leave my jeans so she can fix them, and gave a date as to when I could pick them up. The pricing was very reasonable, which I appreciated. I believe it took around a week. I called the day I was supposed to pick them up, and she said it was ready. I came in and tried them on, and they fit perfectly. The stitching was amazing and well done! I'm definitely coming back, no question. read more

Charm is the sweetest person. Her and her team are all very skilled! I've been going to Charm for my regular clothes and decided to see if she could alter my wedding dress. It was PERFECT! The length was exactly where it needed to be with my heels, and the bustle was also perfect. I wore the dress for my entire wedding and felt so comfortable the entire time whether it was walking through grass, doing my first dance, or jumping and dancing the rest of the night on the dance floor. I felt so beautiful! Thank you, Charm! read more

Took my graduation dress and another formal gown to get shortened. We paid at drop off. Took about a week or two, which was fine. At pick up, the lady gave me the dresses and sent me on my way without mentioning ANYTHING. When I got back home, I decided to try them on to make sure they were a good length. The formal gown was nice; it was still a little long but I planned on wearing heels, so it was okay. The attached photos show my graduation dress. There's the main skirt with the colors and pattern, as well as an under skirt that's just plain black. I noticed after I put it on that it bunched up in the front. I attempted to smooth it out, but it just wouldn't budge. I took a close look and saw that the under skirt was sewn on top of itself in the middle. I figured it was just a mistake - fine, I'll just take the thread out and it'll be alright. Nope. As soon as I took the thread out, there were two HUGE holes. Not little cuts in the fabric; they were two, uneven gigantic holes. I could pretty much put my whole hand through it - fingers spread and all. They thought it would be a great idea to just cover it by sewing the rest of the skirt over it and not tell me anything. I paid around $100 or something to have them cut jagged holes and do a sloppy repair job. On top of this, the lady was sort of rude at drop off. She just pointed at the curtain that's at the front, insinuating for me to put the dress on so she can measure. I would give this zero stars if I could. Luckily, my mother was able to repair the holes so I could actually wear the dress for my graduation and not be uncomfortable with a bunched up under skirt. I decided it wasn't even worth it to go back, considering she probably would deny it and say it "wasn't there" at pick up. read more

I WAS a regular here during wedding season. I am rewriting my review because this business eyeballs prices. Also depending on what day you go prices are higher during the weekends and I know this because I came for myself and for my daughter's dress. The dress came in bigger than expected so I needed it tailored so of course I'm going to bring it to my fave tailor. But my tailor doesn't work on Sundays so these two younger girls do. Just to sew the straps is $7-10 To cut off the bottom in total is $20-25? What does that even mean? It's $5 to hem jeans but it's more costly to do a little girl's dress straps? Bye girl. I'm never coming back on the weekend. This is not a nail salon you don't weigh in prices and keep going up. read more

If you're looking for a tailor to trust with your wedding dress, come see Charm, who will take care of all your wants and needs. She's reasonably priced, more than half of what you will pay at the big chain bridal stores. I needed my dress to be made into a two-piece so that I could dance more freely with a different skirt for my husband's and my first dance. Charm has an extreme attention to detail and her work shows that, especially to preserve the delicate lace. I'm so happy with my dress and felt so beautiful on my wedding day. Be assured that you'll be a satisfied customer, just don't wait until last minute to get your dress tailored so you have enough time for fittings. She can do last minute based on some stories she shared with me about other brides but save yourself the stress :) read more

Impeccable work, kind people working here, really complimentary and affordable. I can't say it enough. They will do great work for you. I brought in a dress that was too large but also had delicate embossment over it. Babe and her staff took in the dress from both sides and then resewed the embossment. It fits perfectly, and the quality of work is lovely, Thank you so much! I will certainly be back and bringing my business here for all my alterations read more

My evening dress was done perfectly and promptly! I had a long evening gown covered in sequins that needed to be shortened since I am only 5'3". The measuring was quick and easy. I would highly recommend Babe tailor for all your tailor and dry cleaning needs. read more

Needed last minute alterations and they were able to guarantee finished gown on time!

Charm is one-of-a-kind. She pays extreme attention to detail. I have always had my dry cleaning done with her. However, I had my first tailor service done with her recently. I took my maid-of-honor dress which had a detailed sequence and was going to be a challenge. Charm went above and beyond and when I tried my dress on, it fit like a glove. I am very excited to be wearing this dress that could not have been possible without Charm and her amazing team. She truly cares for her clients and performs with a high level of experience. The fact that 'Babe Cleaners and Tailor' has been around for a long time speaks to the strong clientele they have built over the years and the level of service they offer. I will continue coming and recommend anyone who needs an exceptional cleaner or tailor service to come here. If I could, I'd give them 10 stars. Thank you Charm! read more

I came here last minute (one day before my maim event) to get my dress altered. Let's just say my dress was very difficult for many tailors to accept because of all the tassels. I flew in from New York that same day and can straight here because I urgently needed to find someone because the next day I was attending a 20 year award ceremony and was receiving an award. She took my dress and made it look better than it was when I first tried it on. I'm so happy I came here because she really did wonders and spent her heart and passion into. Thank you so so much for your help and great tailoring skills read more

My boyfriend always takes his pants here when he needs them hemmed or even tailored and I needed my pants done because my zipper had broke. They said his clothes would be ready 3/5 by noon and it was exactly a week that they needed. I went to pick up and she started she made a mistake that she needed an extra day and I said that we couldn't wait since he would be out of town for work. I took took my pants in and tshe said they would be ready the next day early morning with my boyfriends stuff ready to go so I thought okay perfect its fast and efficient and I'll try going in early morning. When I got my pants back the zipper was fixed but I could see the seam coming apart around the zipper area. Strings all over the place and yet again the same area is falling apart. Yeah it was fast but I just paid $10 for nothing. Felt like $90 was a rip off for all the trouble and miscommunication. read more

Stopped by here based on the 5 star review and figured I would help out a local mom and pop shop, boy did I make a mistake. I couldn't be more disappointed with the way this came out. I instructed Babe to put two matching patches on either elbow to cover the ratty frayed ends. Originally I wanted a thick brown material to accent the denim and to be a little more durable to prevent further weathering however she said she couldn't do it so I settled for a matching denim. I dropped off the jacket on Saturday and was told to come back in a week, I thought that seemed a bit long for two patches but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was busy. We returned a week later and were told that it was not finished so she told us to return Monday. I work during the week so I had my girlfriend pick up my jacket on Monday and it was still not ready so she told her to come back in a few hours. Upon returning to pickup the jacket she found that Babe had done nothing of what I wanted. She had sewn internal patches with mismatched centering and uneven stitching all throughout the exterior and the very reason we even wanted patches (to cover the frayed holes) was completely ignored because the holes were still clearly visible. When my girlfriend asked why she didn't do what I asked she replied, "he asked for just a patch over it but that's not what they wear now. This is better". If I had refused to do what a client wanted and just did whatever I wanted I would be fired. Had she have not ignored what I wanted and just told me she didn't want to do it I would've happily gone else wear and I wouldn't be writing this review but instead I'm out $25 and my favorite jacket is ruined. If you have a nice dress and want minor adjustment or just need something dry cleaned this place could probably take care of you but if you need anything for men or anything more complex I would advise taking your business elsewhere. read more

Great job at tailoring all the dresses I've taken and dry cleaning is never an issue.

Great service at a great price. Needed some last-minute alterations done to my costume and they came through in the clutch. In 2018 I went there to get some pockets sewn into my Spider-Man costume and they did a wonderful job. came back this year in 2019 for the same operation on 2 new Spider-Man costumes and they did fantastic work. They also stitched up the back after a ripped and reinforced it. Great people! read more
