I went in to get the fitting done and they were very quick and professional! I was in and out on a Friday and I picked up on Monday afternoon and it was already completed. The place is a little hidden in the complex but it's next to the restaurant with the green tree fence. I came here to alter a dress for a wedding and my sister came to alter her wedding dress. Hadeel, the owner, is an a amazing woman to work with. Not only is she extremely talented and a perfectionist, she is extremely nice to talk to. She completely changed our dresses, and made them look much better than the original design. When I first walked in the ladies weren't that friendly and then furiously asked me why I was in the shop. I had a few clothing items and I needed them altered. I showed her a few clothes mostly simple stitches. She then told me the bill was $80. That's way to much for some simple fixing for clothes and hemming. This tailor shop is by far the best I have ever been too! I was referred by my mom and let Me just say I will be bringing all my clothes here to get hemmed. I had waited last minute to get my suit hemmed for my sisters wedding and was quoted over $200 at Nordstrom For what I wanted done and Would take over a week and half which I was not able to do due to the wedding being earlier so I gave this spot a try and the owner (sweet Arabic lady) was so kind and did everything for a fraction of the cost and all done in one day! Just an update - went back in early May to see if something could be done with my daughter's school uniform jumpers. She had grown so quickly that I either had to buy new uniforms for just 6 more weeks of school, or try Almas Alterations. As usual, they were able to bring down the hem completely and move the button and zipper on the waist to give my daughter more room. The work was impeccable! The price was very reasonable for such beautiful work. I also brought in a party dress for my daughter - I had bought a couple sizes larger so that it would fit her around the waist comfortably, but that meant the top was too large. Not a problem - the work was wonderful and the dress fit my daughter perfectly. read more
