Awesome padthai, takes time to get the food but worth the wait. Would recommend it to people who want to try some Asian food read more

The food here was awful. The pork curry was watery and dull, and General Tso's chicken was tough and dry. Unlike the food, the service was great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Given the terrible food, the price was unduly high. Our bill averaged out to around $14 per person. read more

This place looks really small from the outside however the food is amazing!! This place isyou favorite place to go to for Chinese food because it's so authentic! I got their seafood fried rice and salt and pepper squid and it was amazing!! read more

Found food and service to be very poor. Bland food but large portions except for rice serving. Food was lukewarm and whole restaurant was so cold we had to wear our coats. Will not return! read more

I usually don't write reviews unless I have positive things to say. However, so many people have given high marks to this place, which I think are undeserved. The service and environment were fine. Really. The food, however, was really bland. Hot and Sour soup, fried dumplings, and General Tsos Chicken...all bland and salty. Maybe we just hit a bad night. read more

Food was absolutely fabulous. Did have to wait a while, there were several large groups ahead of us- so expected a wait. Probably best Chinese food I have found north of San Francisco. We had honey walnut prawns which were amazing. Can't wait to go back and try the eggplant. Probably should take 10 people so can try more at the same time. Well worth the wait. read more

Ordered take out at 7:15pm, told 30-35 minutes, arrived at 7:45...no food until 8:23...awful service and no attempt to provide us with drinks or anything while we had to sit and wait more than 30 minutes...won't go back read more

Was hoping this place could become my "go to Chinese place" but unfortunately it is not. Stopped by for lunch, ordered sweet and sour chicken and sezchuan chicken lunch special with a hot and sour and egg flower soup. Soupss tasted funny asked what was in them waitress said she would have to go read the soup mix can for ingredients. Said they but it at the Asian market. While the Sweet and Sour was nice and crunchy the sauce was poured directly from a bottle and the green peppers and onions had not seen a wok being raw. The sezchuan chicken was over curried and pasty not very satisfying. While reasonable priced and not horrible it was poorly done and disappointing. We won't be back. read more

We drive over to Corvallis from Lebanon just so we can get the delicious Fish in Black Bean Sauce and hubby gets the same only with shrimp. This dish is amazingly scrumptious and served with a cup of rice. We love eating there and I highly recommend it to everyone who likes Chinese food. Service is outstanding too. read more

Best Asian food in Oregon hands done. Me and my wife moved out here from NY and this place can go toe to toe with any Asian restaurant there. My parents have lived out here for over a decade and they were singing the song of all the so called Chinese restaurants out here until last night when we brought them here. Try the chicken lo mein and the wonton soup, best I've ever had. read more

Now that my favorite little Chinese restaurant (Bento) is closed, this place has taken over the top spot. It is deserving, though. As authentic as you can get. Both food and service has always been great. Now, I base my Chinese food experience on what I've had either in San Francisco Chinatown or my mom's home cooked meals (I'm Chinese American). I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We ordered pork belly fried rice, Singapore noodles and hot and sour soup and were extremely pleased with all of it. The quality as well as quantity make the cost of the dishes worth it! read more

Heard this place was the closest to authentic chinese food in Corvallis. So my friend and I decided to try out the place. The quality (taste) of the food was not up to "Authentic" standards, it's a bit more Americanized. Price for dishes are reallyoverpriced for chinese food. On the bright side, good atmosphere and good service, staff is friendly. read more

Never ate here, but I called earlier and the girl asked me to hold. I could hear that she was talking to someone about her brother going to college and the guest's job. (A lot more details.) I was on hold for 10 minutes listening to their conversation. I don't know how long she would put me on hold if I didn't hang up myself. I don't know how the food tastes, but they definitely do not respect their customers. Would never order from here again. read more

We called in a carry out order. We were told 30-35 minutes. When we arrived we arrived 30 minutes later and paid for our order, we were told 10 more minutes. We proceeded to wait over 40 minutes in the restaurant for our order. We were never offered even a glass of water while we waited. Won't be back. read more

Wanted to try something new and was not disappointed. Food was delicious. Especially loved the beef short rib soup. It had a tiny touch of celantra. Sweet and sour was delivered with the sauce on the side so nothing got soggy. And Mongolian beef was flavorful and a perfect ratio of meat to onions. Will definitely order here again. read more

The food here is very good, even if the service can sometimes be hit or miss. I enjoyed the honey walnut prawns here as it is one of few places that offer this dish. Other food options are also very solid and worth the money even if it is slightly on the higher end for college students. The portion sizes are good enough, some dishes are on the smaller side. It is definitely one of the better Asian restaurants in the area. A majority of the international students, as well as myself prefer this place to many other choices. read more

Some of the worst curry I have ever had. Ordered take out and not only were they out of steamed rice but the curry was so watered down it was almost transparent. My roommate ordered the mapo tofu and something used in it was spoiled, making the whole dish pungent with a horrible after taste. Never returning. read more

My hubby loves this place. I liked the food and was happy to see actual Asian eating there. I know it's crazy but don't trust an Asian restaurant that has no Asians eating there. read more

Seriously, very good food. As one reviewer mentioned, not laden with sodium/msg. I grew up near NYC and lived in SF for years. The flavors here are impressive. Definitely coming back! read more

Queen's Chopstick - Happy Family & Honey Walnut Prawns - Chinese Near Me - Corvallis, Oregon

Went here for the first time with my family that was visiting. The food was okay... Not anything to rave about, but definitely not the worst food in Corvallis although it was overpriced. The service however was atrocious. We understood that it was busy when we came, but the waitresses looked visibly annoyed when we would ask them for basic things like chopsticks or rice. We never had our water refilled the entire time we were there. The wait time for food was nearly 50 minutes. A group of Chinese students who came in and ordered about 10-15 minutes after us got all of their dishes before us as well... It seemed like the kitchen was putting a priority on their food which is kind of messed up as a restaurant. Overall, I probably wouldn't come here again. I had hoped that this place would be my go to Chinese restaurant in Corvallis, but it just falls short in too many areas. read more

I can not figure out why this place has any bad reviews. This place has the best food, and the best, most down-to-earth, non-gimmicky service I've honestly ever had. Ok, so if you like more "Americanized" Chinese food, order off the regular menu. If you want Traditional, adventurous Chinese food, ask for the "SECRET MENU." I honestly can not say enough good things about this food. And I will say that the servers are so genuine and knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming....it can't be beat. The only reason I can think of that there are some poor reviews for this place, is that those people want to keep it a secret! This is the best restaurant in town, honestly. So glad we have this in Corvallis. read more

Queen's Chopsticks would have to be the restaurant with the highest quality and delicious dishes in Corvallis. The prices are a bit high but you truly get what you pay for. The food and it's sauces are savory and delightful, vegetables fresh and tender crisp cooked ( not overcook and soggy). I had the Happy Family, which has a variety of meats and seafood, vegetables and tastes delicious. There are other good Asian restaurants in Corvallis but I find the quality of the food and how it's cooked is inconsistent, I think depending on whose cooking. At Queen's Chopsticks you can depend on the same high quality food every time. read more

Amazingly great food! Nice decor, not too bland and not too much flair. when I went there for the first time, we ordered platters of Pad Thai, Sweet and Sour Chicken and a large bowl of Hot and Sour Soup. The Pad Thai was exactly like it should be, slightly sweet and tangy. the exact same story with the sweet and sour chicken; crisp with not too much sauce and not too little. The hot and sour soup was pretty good considering that the restaurant was very busy(a little watery for my taste). The service was excellent, they were checking on us like every ten minutes and my water never ran out. Plus, you can also get spice trays. where else in Corvallis can you get spice trays?! All in all? I absolutely give them 5 stars! read more

The chicken with garlic sauce was so salty it was inedible. Even my husband, who pours salt on everything, couldn't eat more that one bite. I picked up 2 lunch specials to go, hoping to have food for 2 meals. The portions were quite large, bit we ended up splitting the general tsao's chicken (decent) and throwing out the inedible, over-salted garlic chicken. The hot and sour soup was only ok, and the brown rice was dry. Overall a waste of money and a disappointment. Does the chef not taste what he's cooking? Inedible. Wish I'd eaten in so I could send it back and demand the chef taste what he is making. read more

Love this place. food is amazing and staff is nice. Interior is great. Food is authentic and amazing quality.

We appreciate their healthy choices and their generous portions (with the exception of sweet-and-sour sauce, really wish that tiny tub was bigger!). They have many authentic choices as well as some Americanized versions. read more

Service and meal was excellent! One of the better Chinese restaurants in Corvallis. I have a blog where I review it in greater detail and more photos. Please visit it if you want to get more information! https://hungrybeaverblog.wordpress.com/2015/06/04/queens-chopstick/ read more

Food is very good, and portions are very decent sized as well. I feel like it is more on the pricier side than it should be, but when you're the only really good Thai restaurant in Corvallis I guess it should be expected. read more

I struggled between 1 and 2 stars for this place since the food itself tastes pretty okay, however the service is atrocious and I was charged $15 for some spinach and 6 prawns. Honestly don't eat here there are so many better options. Basically the main points are -food is super over priced -seafood sizzling rice soup has maybe 1 shrimp cut into about 8 pieces in it -had almost empty water cup the entire time with no refill -panang shrimp is $15 for 6 piece of shrimp and some spinach -our waitress forgot about us so we had to waive a different one down -when flagged down she was noticeably bothered and made no effort to hide it -I spent $23 and Im still hungry -when she took my card to pay she forgot about it and didnt bring it back Dont eat here read more

The cook(s) smoke outside and throw cigarette buts on sidewalks and pavement. When I asked (him) them politely to dispose of them in waste containers they attempted to physically assualt.me. Rude and outright belligerent. Never has an employee at any business been so beligerent. I was a regular customer and plan never to frequent Queen's again. read more

After reading a lot of excellent reviews we decided to have lunch here today. Frankly we were both very disappointed. The lunch menu is pretty limited with very few beef options so my husband had to order Mongolian beef from the dinner menu.It was pretty pricy for lunch. I ordered kung pow shrimp with fried rice and hot sour soup from the lunch menu. The hot sour soup was absolutely the worst I have EVER had. It was grayish looking with zero taste. Just awful. And the fried rice was just steamed rice with a touch of soy sauce. That's it...no vegies or anything. My husband's dish came with steamed rice but he ordered the fried rice also. When our check came they charged him $1.50 for the fried rice. Never going back. read more

I just had their sizzling marinated beef. I thought it was pretty good. Had a lot of flavor and spiciness to it. I'd recommend this restaurant. read more

So far the best Chinese food we've had in Corvallis. Yummy sesame chicken.

I may have slightly higher standards since I am from the SF Bay Area. However, after seeing some good things online, I decided to give them a try. I am only giving them 3 stars because I didn't have much of a chance to try food. For their prices, I was expecting something a lot better. When I am sick, my absolute favorite thing to have is wor wonton soup. I gave them a call asking if I could make an order to go. They said yes. I asked if they had wor wonton soup. THE PERSON ON THE PHONE HAD NEVER HEARD OF WOR WONTON SOUP. I said "you know, wonton soup with vegetables and meat and shrimp and stuff in it?" And the person on the phone was like "...uh, we don't have that, but we have wonton soup with vegetables in it." I said that's fine I will take an order to go. Being sick I drove down there , got my soup, then got home. I was rather disappointed. I was expecting soup broth with some simple vegetables like broccoli, celery, carrot, mushroom, etc. However, it was chicken broth, a few leaves of lettuce (iceberg I think) and like 5 slices of mushroom. I was sick and hadn't eaten all day so it was still welcomed food, but something as simple as wonton soup should not be an unknown concept in a Chinese restaurant. Coming from a diverse place, it was surprising to walk into a Chinese restaurant and see only white folks working there, and only white folks eating there. An old tip I got from a chinese friend of mine: if you want good Chinese food, look for Chinese people eating there. If there are lots of Chinese it's probably good. No Chinese, probably pretty fake. In short, I might give it another try for simple stuff like fried rice. But I don't expect any culinary masterpieces to be coming out of a kitchen where wor wonton has never been mentioned. I give 3 stars because I don't want to judge a whole place off of it's soup alone. read more

Easily the best Chinese restaurant in Corvallis, far better than standard Chinese American restaurant fare.

It was great while it lasted We are vegetarians and were delighted to learn that most all of the lunch menu items could be made vegetarian by substituting deep fried tofu for meat. We enjoyed many lunches there until about 2 weeks ago. We placed our order as usual and the server brought soup. Halfway through enjoying our soup the server told us that they are unable to substitute tofu for meat. The first reason given was that it was too busy, we had to point out to the server that there were only 2 other couples in the restaurant. Then she said that the chef said that "breading the tofu was too much work"! They have NEVER breaded tofu before, I don't even know if you can actually bread tofu! Then the final blow, the server said that we could order dinner portions of the entrees, with tofu, but we would have to pay extra for the soup we had already consumed. That was the nail in the coffin! We paid for our soup and left, sadly never to return. Good luck with that guys! read more
