I had such a fun time with my friends at Blue Sky!!!! The service was so amazing and the food was so good. The owner was so generous and gave us the TV remote to play whatever we wanted for the vibe. I picked up an order of orange chicken that came with white rice and also chow mein. I paid $23 for this. I was extremely disappointed with what I got. The chicken was extremely bland, soggy, and couldn't really hold a shape. The chow mein was also very bland. I'm sad to see another restaurant in Corvallis have poor food. I had lunch here the other day for the first time. Someone from the kitchen brought our plates of food out and the plates were ICE COLD!!!! Then he brought 2 more plates out and they were also ICE COLD!!!. The Chicken chow mein was good but cold. The sweet and sour chicken was over cooked and very tough. The rice had no flavor. The server never checked on our meal and when I asked for ice water she returned 15 minutes later with a glass of water with 2 very tiny melted pieces of ice in the water. I had to get up and get the box to take the chicken chow mein home to heat. We paid $32 to take the food home and heat it up. Only 1 of athe 3 items was worth eating. read more

The new waiters and chef are AMAZING. as a Chinese international student I was real impressed by the food, the chef is very skillful and maintains high standards for the quality of the ingredients. Anything I tasted tonight was fresh and so flavorful. Tonight the chef's off-menu special was the roasted leg of lamb, which had amazing control over the heat, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside while being rich in flavor. This was the best meal I had in a restaurant in my 6 months in the US. The waiter was also very friendly, he always filled my cup of tea or water promptly and he is so patient and kindly to answer any questions I had and he would also ask for my thoughts and suggestions on the food. This is our go to restaurant our family has been coming here since 2006. I'm gluten free and it's nice to get full flavor food, vegetables are always crispy and they are very friendly. They made it special but all is was thickened broth, a few floating vegetables, a little tofu, and I had to ask them to add the egg which is normally in it. It was tasteless and more than that, full of MSG. My cheeks turned bright red immediately, and I was sick for two days it was so strong. I only had a small amount and still reacted violently. I almost always order the string beans with tofu so yummy the vegetables are always cooked perfect the sauces are amazing!! They will even let us play with the menu to accommodate everyone's faves. For instance my bf always loved the flavor of my string bean tofu but loves broccoli. They made him the exact dish but with broccoli. They also whipped up a sweet sour tofu for my daughter at her request. (Not the best sweet sour tofu I'd ever had but she loved it) They also deliver FAST and not an expensive delivery fee. They make their egg food young different than on the east coast, I actually like it better. The egg and gravy is separate from the veggies and protein.
