I got the veggie tahini paste broth with shrimp, enoki mushrooms, Napa cabbage, bean sprouts, bok choy, glass noodles, green onions, and cilantro and it was heavenly. So nice to be able to choose everything I wanted! Wish this place was closer so I could go more often. Maybe 4 tables inside, and one outside, but we still got a spot without a problem. I am not a fan of the code system, but I understand there is a homeless challenge in the area that has caused the restaurant to install these code systems. But the restroom itself was filthy. If one controls who can use the restroom, it should be clean, and not resemble the kind you find at gas stations along I-5. Not sure if I would want to come back to China Delight.

The good part? This place is cheap and has gigantic portions. Most of the food is decent, so if you just want to stuff yourself for $5 or so this is the place for you. The staff is friendly. The egg flower soup is good, but that's kind of hard to screw up. Now the bad. Greasy, very high in salt and I don't think it is MSG free. I'm allergice to MSG, I can't eat there because when I do I feel flushed and short of breath. The fried stuff is very greasy and the vegetables swim in so much sauce it's hard to taste them. And never order the shrimp here. It's probably not fresh, and I only say probably because it is so overcooked that all you end up with is an exploded spongy lump rattling around in a hard deep fried batter shell. It does have a full bar with video poker, and the drinks are not watered down. read more

This place is wonderful. My wife and I have been going here for many years. I usually get a side order of fried shrimp, egg flower soup, a spring roll, Jasmine tea, fried rice and the Happy Family entrée. My wife leans to the same except for the entrée of beef and broccoli. I have tried hers out also, and it is delicious. This place is also laid back and has cozy booths with some decent Chinese décor. Jade Garden is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in town. read more
