Since its the only option beyond the checkpoints, this is all the airport has to offer. Its okay and priced like you would expect at an airport. There was one lady who's customer service was exceptional. Really wish I would've gotten her name to acknowledge her on Yelp.

Queen Charlotte's Kitchen is the newest concept at the Charlotte Douglas airport. This spot is located near baggage claim. There is a sit down area, bar area and pick up/to-go area. They specialize in small eats like flatbreads, sandwiches, appetizers, and breakfast. The bar has beer, wine, and cocktails. I have tried the hummus. It is a large portion. The bread was warm and flavorful. The hummus is covered with olives, chickpeas, red onions, cucumbers and olive oil. It is a very healthy and filling option. The prices and service is comparable for the airport. You don't have many options so you take what you can get. I would definitely get the hummus again. The Tomato Three Cheese flatbread is basically a sloppy cheese pizza with chunky acidic pieces of tomatoes. If you are hungry and you happen to walk by it, keep walking.

I like the Charlotte Airport atmosphere. Busy folks from all cultures traveling and stopping to sample the food in the Carolinas. This restaurant has nice staff and really good cooks... my Brisket was delicious! Five Star all the way vibes!

Says open until 10 but the rude bartender shut down at 7:45? Customer service sucks at this place. Eat before you head to baggage claim.

Food and service were outstanding! I haven't broken the news to my wife yet but I fell deeply in love with the brisket sandwich!

The food and coffee were pretty good but the service was bad. Very slow and inconsiderate staff.

It's in a good spot because several places use this building for trainings and there is nothing around within walking distance. Smart idea CPCC. I wish they had extended hours. I had banana bread and of course coffee. The bread was moist yummy. I won't be traveling all the way here for treats, but if my job has a training there again I will be happy so I can get some great treats. Enjoy!

I have been keeping this secret for far too long. Partly because i didnt have time to write a…read morereview but also partly because i was selfishly concerned that too many knowing of the existance of this bakery would hurt my chances of ever eating the best cheesecake of my life again. Alas, the time has come to share my discovery. Aspire bakery is a small bakery and bistro located inside CPCC's Harris Campus. It is currently closed due to it being summer but it is typically open mon-fri during the fall/spring semesters. Basically, it is the culinary department students making delicious soups, sandwiches and baked goods for all to enjoy at a great price. Cookies, cakes, cheesecakes, tarts, scones, biscuits, macaroons the list goes on and on...all were available here over the course of the last year. Now there is no telling exactly what will be in the bakery case at any visit, but i can guarantee whats there will be delicious. In addition to the baked goods they also have a few sandwiches, salads, wraps and pannini's to choose from and always a soup of the day. I ate here almost every week for the duration of their last run and i never once had the same soup. This very quickly became one of my favorite places to eat and that was completely solidified when i had a slice of their blueberry cheesecake. It was light and airy but rich at the same time. So good. Best i have ever had. Ever. Now just to make this even more awesome im gonna talk about the prices of everything. Ive never found a bakery more reasonably priced. Sandwich, soup, cookie and a drink for around $8. The baked goods start at .50. Oh and theres no tax and the funds from everything they sell goes right back into the culinary program! It is a win-win on so many levels. It was a sad day when i realized they were closing for the summer but i know they will be open again before i know it. And when they do i highly recommend that everyone check this bakery out.

I really just wanted a Chai tea latte because it was the cheapest one in the airport but they were unfortunately out of it. My pet peeve is getting to the register and employees are having a conversation and don't break their convo to acknowledge they have a customer. They were talking about a previous customer and had a whole conversation before acknowledging I was there. When I asked for white chocolate mocha the cashier got an attitude because she apparently was tired of making drinks, and she had a line earlier and basically complaining she had to work. The drink was okay for what it was. Expensive it's in an airport and I needed a fix. I chose to get a bagel from elsewhere because the food on display didn't look to appetizering to me.

It was a disappointing visit at 8am on a weekday. I was looking for a bakery item, such as a pastry…read moreor sweet brioche. There weren't any displayed. All they had displayed were premade sandwiches. I asked one of the staff members if they have any chocolate croissants. She went to the back to get the croissant for me. They have cold brew coffee. I don't recommend it. It was like drinking coffee infused water. The chocolate croissant was dry and tasteless. The service was average. It could have been a much better visit had all the bakery items been displayed. Honestly, I didn't know that they had other items in the back. I found out later that the online menu has Viennese specialties and desserts. I didn't see any of them. It just looked like a sandwich shop. I'm just guessing by the higher rated reviews that their sandwiches are delicious. Stick with the sandwiches, and maybe you'll have a better experience. There are better breakfast & coffee options between Concourse D & E.
