Great food and coffee convenient place just to sit down and relax while running through a busy airport because location is so convenient

A coffee shop during the day, and a bar at night. It serves local Counter Culture Coffee in Concourse D.

Great service, and very good coffee! I was so pleased with the vanilla oat milk latte that the gentleman behind the counter made for me. He knew exactly what I wanted. It's funny because all I asked was, "Do you have any specialty coffee drinks?" It's just that the coffee menu seemed very basic. He knew where I was going with that. Then he proceeded to make my latte after asking if I like vanilla. I trusted him completely. I didn't even mention that I like oat milk. It was so intuitive. The latte was perfect! They serve Counter Culture which is a local Durham coffee roaster. I can totally see why there is a long line during the early morning hours. I missed getting that good cup of coffee the first time I passed through the airport on my way to Montgomery. I didn't make that mistake on the way back to Tampa. What is so cool about this place is the sitting and working area. It's so comfortable and hip, with cool music. It's a coffee shop during the day, and a bar at night that serves cocktails. It's a great stop in between flights.

Grossest Mango Margarita I've ever had. Who puts Rum & Sprite in a Margarita & charges $25 for it???

Worst most expensive margaritas ever. Positive the server used Rum instead of the listed Don Pablo Tequila - Sprite??? - and a terribly sweet fruit syrup concoction. FOR $50. Never go there again.

The CommonSpace is conveniently located in a corner spot before E gates and on the way to the D gates. This location used to be a very busy Starbucks but it looks like they've recently changed it to an eatery/bar called the CommonSpace. I stopped here on a Saturday morning in hopes to get a quick bite to eat before my flight out of the D gates. The egg white, mushroom, swiss on a croissant was very appealing to me but unfortunately they didn't have it in stock. I instead chose to go with a cranberry muffin which wasn't great. They did warm it which was nice but in doing so it kind of had an oven taste to it. Hard to describe specifically but it took the flavoring of whatever was cooked in the oven prior. There menu was nice. Breakfast, lunch sandwiches, coffee, cocktails, beer and wine. I didn't try any of the drinks. I'm a tea drinker but didn't see any options for tea (also didn't ask). I'd be interested in coming back and trying their breakfast sandwiches in the future.

Great music!!!! Modern and well light space to chill in between airport chaos. Just sit and charge your device or grab a delicious wrap or sandwich!!! We lucked out getting the last chicken wrap and glad we did.

Coffee bar, Glass case of grab & go, drink prep area

The perfect stop at Charlotte airport! Excellent coffee drinks, paninis/wraps/croissants. Even Expresso Martinis with craft cocktails & draft beer. Super friendly people make your request to order. Grab a small table or sit at long high tables to use your laptop & watch the airport activity.

    Cute space

I discovered this coffee shop on the way from one terminal to another in Charlotte airport. It was about 8a but this shop was such an inviting space with fun music playing somewhat loud (just perfect though if you're in the mood!) and people ordering and drinking coffee. Mine was really good with oat milk as they serve local Culture Coffee. I felt the need to sit down and work from the space since it was so lively! Ended up working there at a small table (free airport wifi) for about an hour and I'm so glad I did. Service was quick and friendly, Apple Pay available and the coffee came out quick. They have food also so I'll be stopping by again during my next airport visit. It's near the mall section of the airport.

Stopped by and had a coffee cocktail. I don't like coffee but this was great! I had the Long Nights Early Mornings. Staff was very friendly and its located between 2 gates and the E food court! Will stop on my next layover.

New Coffee shop that replace Starbucks. It's awful

Terrible service. Rude and uncaring. Food was extremely greasy. Only redeeming thing was the coffee. The tables were dirty too.

Service was good. Coffee was very hot. But not good. We just did Americano, so maybe other coffees better.

First impressions not fabulou... burnt $6 coffee. Makes it difficult to recommend a visit when traveling through or departing via CLT.

Coffee was great and delicious vegan breakfast sandwich. One of the better options for grab and go food at CLT.

I picked this for a few reasons, the price wasn't insane, it can easily be eaten with your hands, and doesn't need to be warm. We got in the line, and soon realized it wasn't moving, somehow the one only person working the cash register was creating a bottle neck, and the 4 other people "working", were in no rush to get the orders through, they didn't jump on the other register or try to assist him, they were just sitting around waiting for the cashier to get the orders in. Once the orders got in, the others were quick to get them made and sent out, but no one seemed to have any sense to help the struggling cashier. I ordered a ham and provolone sub, which once ordered came out relatively quick. But in the end, I realized I had picked the wrong dinner option. The sub was pretty bad, they seemed to really drench the bread with oil, I think? It was very overpowering, and made everything greasy. All of the toppings were slipping out of the sandwich and I could only eat about half of the sub. One because of the flavor, and two because I didn't want that much oil to destroy my stomach on a cross country flight. This definitely has left a bad impression in my mind for any other future visits to Jersey Mikes, and seeing all the other bad reviews on here for this location, I hope someone will take notice and make some changes.

The line here was much longer than any other fast food spot I saw around, and at least one customer left due to this--several others were commenting as I heard them waiting for their orders to come up. I wasn't in a huge rush so it was well worth the 15-20 minutes I spent in line/waiting for the sandwich. But it will take longer than other spots, so I would not go with this if you are in a time crunch (at least based on the time I went)!

Title: If it's not in the shape of a wedge, it's not a wedge salad. WTF…read more Charlotte airport. Middle of the day. The restaurant is less than half full--four-tops and booths sitting empty as far as the eye can see. Meanwhile, every single traveler is wedged (ironically) into these tiny little two-tops that are about one-third shorter than a normal table. The very people most likely to need space are the ones being denied it. That's the whole reason solo travelers walk into places like this: space, a real table, somewhere to eat and knock out a little work between flights. So I ask politely if I could have a larger table. I'm told they're "for larger parties." I ask if I could sit in a booth. Same answer, delivered in that polite-but-pointed, bless-your-heart Southern tone. Darl'n. It gets better. The other half of the restaurant is even emptier. I ask again. Same answer. Different server. Same script. A small parade of hospitality lemmings. On my way out, the hostess suddenly notices the obvious: empty tables everywhere. She "finds" me a four-top. Moments later, she does the same for another single diner. Then another. Apparently the rules loosen once customers start walking. So: lousy hospitality, a faint mist of condescension, a smashed "wedge" salad that had clearly never met a wedge, and a $22 "therapeutic" cocktail to dull the experience. Airports are stressful enough. The least a half-empty restaurant can do is let people sit at an empty table.

It's another great restaurant and retail area to enjoy while you're passing through our airport. There's already a food court in the atrium area but this is beyond the E security checkpoint. Clean, open, airy space with several vendors. In the center, a bar area operated by Asheville's Wicked Weed Brewing. Around the perimeter, Auntie Anne's pretzels, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Shake Shack and the second Bojangles to open in the CLT airport. (Bojangles is based here in Charlotte.)
