oreo brownie, brownie, and pumpkin spiced cupcake

My wife wanted some brownies today. So we looked around and found this place. It a hidden gem in outskirts of gastonia and belmont. We got a couple of brownie bars and a pumpkin spiced cupcake. Everything was great brownie was moist. Definitely will be back to try some of the food. It's a little out the way but definitely worth the trek.

Awesome little spot for lil kids and big kids. Stopped by for a quick coffee and ice cream for the kiddos and I wish I came here sooner. Cant wait to try out their food as their menu looks appealing. Very friendly staff

We stopped in after walking and playing in the park. The ice cream was very good. There was a smaller selection than before. The service was slow and somewhat ambivalent to "customer" or "service". The location gives this shop a great opportunity to be part of the destination but it appears they have overlooked that benefit. Hot day and the A/C was struggling, no paper towels in the ladies room and an uninterested attitude to remedy the paper towel issue. Good ice cream, mediocre experience.

Had brunch with a friend here on Wednesday. Service was a bit slow but friendly. Food was decent, but we just got breakfast foods. It's a cut shop in a cute little area. So I would go back.

Service was wonderful (thanks Mary!) & food was amazing. I had the bulgogi bowl without kimchi and definitely will be coming back to try other things off the menu!! P.s. lemon bar is top tier and I have a feeling that the rest of the dessert in this shop is just as delicious! Very cute inside with couches.

In town for a ball tournament. My granddaughter and I decided to do some exploring and ran across this coffee shop. Nice setup with coffee/ice cream shop in the front and an area in the back for private parties. We ordered a Berry Blast Smoothie and a regular coffee with caramel flavoring and cream. Both were very good. The young girls at the counter were very helpful since this was the first time visiting. There is generous seating inside as well as a deck with seating on the outside. Across the street is Goat Island Park and Causeway. We will definitely be back if in the area again.

Lemon bar and cherry lemon sundrop cake pop

Overall a decent experience! The lemon bar and cake pop were good, but the Oreo cheesecake did not taste like cheesecake. The cheesecake tasted doughy, like a bland cheesecake covered in whip cream. The restaurant was clean with clean restrooms, but the hand soap had water added to it which is nasty considering you need proper antibacterial soap when dealing with food and just regular life. The employee took care of us pretty fast considering the volume of customers she had.

I searched for an ice cream shop while in the area and Floyd and Blackie's came up. It's a cute place near Goat Island in Cramerton. It was a bit busy when we visited with several people in line waiting to order. Besides ice cream, they offered homemade desserts such as huge cake slices, brownies, cookies and dessert bars. They also had coffee drinks and smoothies. It took quite awhile to order even though there were about 5 people in front of us. The ordering process was not organized and they kept getting interrupted when we were ordering so they would forget what we ordered and would ask what we wanted again and again. They also would enter our order wrong or simply ignore our request such as we asked for water and never got it. The ice cream was fine and the pumpkin bar was delicious. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was inviting.

No paper towels and dirty mirror

Terrible service. We waited 5-7 min without acknowledgment while 3 employees were in view. The place is dirty and rundown. No paper towels in the ladies room. I told the female employee when we ordered but she didn't correct it. Trash cans were overflowing. Definitely overpriced considering the atmosphere and experience.

First time having lunch/breakfast here. Food is excellent! Husband had eggs over medium (done perfectly), fired potatoes, sausage, and toast. He loved it! I had the BLT with side salad. Bread was really good, lightly toasted, tomato flavorful, bacon crisp, and house made ranch dressing was perfect. Also recommend their ice cream and desserts! They are locally owned and operated.

Unique playground nearby (across the bridge.)

Great coffee flavors /selections to choose from. Also, so many different pastries. Has an Amelie's vibe with decor and pastry options.

The new lady cashier this time had no basic customer service, no greeting, no "how are you," just staring and pointing instead of communicating. It felt dismissive and uncomfortable from the start. When my order was called, I heard my cold brew but someone else took it. I waited for a while thinking maybe it was still being prepared, but nothing came. When I politely asked, I was met with attitude and told I "already had the ticket," which clearly wasn't true. Instead of handling it professionally or even asking a simple clarifying question, the guy making the drinks reacted abruptly, snatched things around, and remade BOTH drinks without any acknowledgment or apology. On top of that, the cold brew itself tasted extremely watered down like no care was put into it at all. The whole interaction felt rushed, impersonal, and honestly disrespectful, especially after paying for the service. I understand everyone has off days, but basic courtesy and communication go a long way. This experience didn't reflect the standard I've come to expect from this place, and I hope it's addressed.

She suggested it as a good half-way spot and said its low key casual and really good food and she had been there several times always with a good experience. I will echo those same feelings as we had a great lunch on a busy Monday. There was certainly an eclectic group of people there. Young people, couples, seniors, families and business people. Some were there just to snag a coffee or tee for the road. Most were ordering and scrambling for a seat. My sister told me it was a coffee shop before and never really got real traction to stay in business. You stand in line and order and pay then they hand you a buzzer and when it flashes you go and get your food. I had the Spicy turkey with cheese and avocado and it was delicious. My Sis had the veggie quiche. We shared and both agreed we made the right choice. It's a small place and feels even smaller when there is a crowd. The tables are all jammed in together and not much room in between. There are two dining rooms and outside seating on a covered patio. The aisle way where the coffee and tea is served gets jammed up as well. People order and then just stand around talking waiting for their beverage. It create a problem because it blocks access to the bathrooms. The Staff is great, very nice and they hustle to keep things moving. It was a little loud and somewhat hard to have a conversation. I think it would be much more enjoyable in the spring and after when it warms up enough to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the fresh air. The menu looked really good and the brisket caught my eye, maybe that will be on my menu for my next visit. Parking is a real challenge. No designed parking, street parking only and walk a couple of blocks for public parking area. That's great when the weather is good but a consideration when the weather is not so good.
