    Sub in a tub
    Chelsea R.

There was a long line but truly the wait wasn't that bad. The menu is a little more limited but they have the basics that I feel like would satisfy most people. My husband got the chicken Philly and they only have one size. I got the sub in a tub.

    Came unwrapped like that.

Takes forever to get your food. Not the typical mikes experience. Sandwich came unwrapped weird and wasn't appetizing.

5 employees working and it took 30 min to get a std sandwich? Good thing we weren't in a hurry. Older cashier was friendly, but the rest of the crew needs to step up their game. Sandwich was fair. Couldn't order what I wanted because they were out of several of the ingredients. This location needs some help.

Chips $3.29. Service is too slow if you have a connection.

Overpriced but par for the course with airport. Food price gouging. Jersey Mike quality doesn't fail here. Less selections for bread and no meatball. $11 sub. Only 1 size. Kinda slow but they deliver on quality and taste that you expect from the chain.

    Italian sub no onions

This is my first time trying this place, but it won't be my last! I got the Italian sub no onions and although the line is ALWAYS crowded, I had time to wait today. I'm so glad I did! I'm not a bread person, but I tried the sub anyway. The bread tasted freshly made, and it was simply delicious! Next time I'll try the sub in a bowl (without bread). I see why there's always a line! Stop by any location and let me know what you think. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Located inside the food court area at the Charlotte Airport. They provide fast and Friendly customer service and good quality ingredients on their subs. I was very content and satisfied with my sandwich, price point was reasonable. My sandwich was delicious and packed nicely. I really like the freshness of the bread and as well the other ingredients.

    Jersey Mike's Subs at CLT

This Jersey Mike's has a limited menu with just a dozen or so sandwiches and only one size option. For me, the "Sub in a tub" works well on keto and since I was expecting a longer line for security, I had some extra time to get something to eat. Into a plastic container, a lettuce base with tomatoes and onions and peppers and then topped with sliced ham and cappicola and provolone cheese. On top, "Mike's way" is a generous splattering of oil and vinegar and salt and pepper. It's definitely tasty but a bit messy. Here's the problem. They put huge pieces of meat and cheese and tomato in there. That's going to make it really tough to eat even with knife and fork. Is it that hard to chop it even a little bit, or is that just an airport operation thing? I have no doubt that the subs are delicious but the salad presentation made it hard to enjoy. It's all a bit spendy even for an airport but it was worth a try. I think next time, a Wendy's baconator hold the bun from deep in Concourse A. For some inexplicable reason, they don't allow you to get wheat bread on the hot sandwiches. Like WTF?

This may be the slowest Jersey Mike's on earth, but the staff is nice and the food is good.

You order at one window, grab an extra items, pay, then they'll call your name/number. Super easy. I ordered the Rhino Club described on the menu as: Boar's Head Branded Deluxe Ham, Lower Sodium Turkey, Applewood Smoked Bacon, provolone, bibb lettuce, tomato, dijon vin on choice of bread. The ordering and payment process was easy. I was solo so I took a seat at the bar area to eat. Sandwich looked good when I unwrapped it, large slices of toasted bread with fresh lettuce and tomato. The strangest thing was, on the left side of the sandwich were several slices of deli turkey rolled up. On the right side of the sandwich were several slices of deli ham rolled up. I hadn't seen a sandwich made like that before. It felt like half of a turkey sandwich and half of a ham sandwich as opposed to a ham and turkey sandwich. Was it bad? Definitely not. I waffled between a 3 and a 4 star for this one but felt generous because, overall, I liked the vibe of the place.

Title: If it's not in the shape of a wedge, it's not a wedge salad. WTF…read more Charlotte airport. Middle of the day. The restaurant is less than half full--four-tops and booths sitting empty as far as the eye can see. Meanwhile, every single traveler is wedged (ironically) into these tiny little two-tops that are about one-third shorter than a normal table. The very people most likely to need space are the ones being denied it. That's the whole reason solo travelers walk into places like this: space, a real table, somewhere to eat and knock out a little work between flights. So I ask politely if I could have a larger table. I'm told they're "for larger parties." I ask if I could sit in a booth. Same answer, delivered in that polite-but-pointed, bless-your-heart Southern tone. Darl'n. It gets better. The other half of the restaurant is even emptier. I ask again. Same answer. Different server. Same script. A small parade of hospitality lemmings. On my way out, the hostess suddenly notices the obvious: empty tables everywhere. She "finds" me a four-top. Moments later, she does the same for another single diner. Then another. Apparently the rules loosen once customers start walking. So: lousy hospitality, a faint mist of condescension, a smashed "wedge" salad that had clearly never met a wedge, and a $22 "therapeutic" cocktail to dull the experience. Airports are stressful enough. The least a half-empty restaurant can do is let people sit at an empty table.

"An airport fit for a Queen" because Charlotte is of course, the Queen City. One of those improvements is this food court that opened in 2019. It's another great restaurant and retail area to enjoy while you're passing through our airport. There's already a food court in the atrium area but this is beyond the E security checkpoint. Clean, open, airy space with several vendors. In the center, a bar area operated by Asheville's Wicked Weed Brewing. Around the perimeter, Auntie Anne's pretzels, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Shake Shack and the second Bojangles to open in the CLT airport. (Bojangles is based here in Charlotte.) Definitely a great space for your layover! [Review 16563 overall - 3180 in North Carolina - 73 of 2022.]
