I had a little time before boarding my flight, so my sister and I decided to grab a bite to eat. We waited a few minutes to be seated, but the restaurant was moderately busy, so that was understandable. One thing I noticed right away was that the floor near our table, which was also the area leading to the kitchen, was very slick. A caution cone or warning sign would have been helpful to alert guests and help prevent a potential fall. Our server greeted us promptly and got our drink orders in quickly. When my sister asked about ordering a milkshake, we were told they were out. I suggested adding it to the list of unavailable items posted at the entrance so customers would know before ordering. I ordered the patty melt with sweet potato fries. While the presentation wasn't particularly appetizing, the flavor more than made up for it. The sandwich was delicious, the fries were great, and I cleaned my plate. I also noticed the table next to us had been waiting on their food since before we were seated. Eventually, they asked for their meals and to-go containers instead. I thought that was worth mentioning, as it appeared there may have been some delays coming from the kitchen. Overall, the food was very enjoyable, and with a few improvements regarding communication and safety, the experience could be even better.

Great selection for an airport dine in restaurant. Burgers and fries were very good. Thick burgers on brioche buns and fries were delicious with the side sauce. Order came out in 5 min. Pricey at $20 but a good meal

Busy burger bar in terminal C of the Charlotte airport. Server was busy but pleasant. Food came out quickly but had to wait for a table. Sweet potato fries were delish: impossible burger was meh but I was hungry. Pricey - almost $40 with a cider and tax.

It took about 15-20 minutes just to get seated because there was no host and only two waiters for the entire restaurant. I could tell a lot of people were getting very angry with the wait. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger on steroids and it was tasty! I chose sweet potato fries and they were pretty soggy. I did enjoy my guava seltzer though! There were a lot of TVs around. Our server was nice, but I could tell she was stressed because of all the people.

Breakfast burger no egg. Meh.

Flight delays left me in Charlotte for an extended period of time and since I've been traveling since early in the morning, I needed to eat but didn't want to go far from my gate. Bad Daddy's Burger Bar was one of the closest so that's where I headed. When I checked the hours online, it said it was closed until 11 so when I saw it was open I was surprised. Anyway, I sat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine. Of course it was very expensive but it's a captive audience and I'm sure rent is a premium. Looking at the menu and it was a bunch of egg dishes, which I wasn't in the mood for. To be honest, I'd rather have a salad or chicken but it was too early for lunch so I ordered the breakfast burger with no egg, so essentially a bacon cheeseburger. It was okay. I ate less than half of it. It was kind of dry and I wasn't feeling the breakfast potatoes. Wish I had waited to get something for lunch, which I would've had time for since my flight was delayed again.

Near gate 7 in the C section found this cool spot for burgers. This place looked inviting and was very full. That is always a good sign. The place has TVs with sports on and beers on draft at the bar. My wife and I split the 3 sliders and an order of fries. Both were great and plenty enough for 2 to share. The service was fast but not to fast. Like it all.

Had a quick layover in Concourse C at Charlotte Douglas and grabbed a bite at Bad Daddy Burger. There was a line, but it moved fast. I ended up sitting at the bar by the back window. The seat wasn't the most comfortable--maybe that's their way of keeping people moving. The burger was cooked just right, and the jalapeño bacon was really good.

A cheeseburger with an egg, bacon and avocado. Completely loaded. It was so good.

The place was super busy. But I still got great service. I Had an incredible hamburger and a couple of beers.. it was mouthwatering and hit the spot. Thank you.

Chicken tenders

We had about an hour to grab a bite to eat before flying out of CLT and this spot was near our gate. I tried to order on the QR code at our table, but it wouldn't let me. (We were able to cash out using that QR code, though.) Luckily our food came out quickly and we had enough time. They do have a takeout window as well. This place obviously specializes in burgers, but I was craving some chicken tenders. Nate got the mushroom burger with tots. The chicken tenders came with fries, ranch, and their house sauce which tasted like a tangier Cane's sauce. The chicken tenders were just okay, maybe that's my fault for not ordering a burger at a burger place. The chicken itself was juicy and tender, but the tenders were incredibly greasy like their fryer wasn't hot enough. The fries were also not great - just didn't seem very fresh or fried enough. Luckily the ranch was the good ranch and I was able to take some of the greasy breading off the chicken. I had a few bites of Nate's burger, which was actually quite good. The mushrooms were tasty and the burger was juicy and cooked nicely. The tots were also a victim of the greasy fryer, just not the best. I wouldn't necessarily come back here, but it did the trick in a pinch.

Located in Concorse C. Condensed menu consisted of only 2 Giant salads to choose from and burgers, sandwiches, apps and sides. Everything tasted delicious. Very few seating options so there will be a wait time. Un less you have hours before a flight, I wouldn't recommend this as a quick bite to eat place. Our server was friendly and efficient. As best as you could get located inside the airport.

this was an ASTONISHINGLY good burger like wow I knew what I was getting into when I saw the toppings, and decided to add a fried egg on top of it, but my goodness the one thing that I think could've been better about this burger were the buns - they were a bit too soft, which made them kind of blend in to the rest of the burger rather than stand out. also they might've been a bit too small to contain the rest of the burger. the only other thing I have is I wish there was a bit more mayo on here other than that, the inside of this burger was all-time good starting with the patty - this might be the best beef patty I've ever had in a burger It was so incredibly thick, thick enough that it rivals and maybe even surpasses the thickness of a double burger with two separate beef patties. In addition to that, I had the option to pick how I wanted it cooked - where I picked medium - and this was absolutely an incredible decision because this patty was so perfectly juicy without being too soft A lot of places will automatically cook your burger well-done for food safety reasons, but I'm really glad I was able to customize this to be medium - and this resulted in an unforgettable experience - especially when you think about how incredibly thick this was the bacon was also so good - it was incredibly crispy - and had deep flavor to it. I was quite impressed that the jalapeno bacon actually managed to have some spice to it. In addition, the pieces were large, and there were 6 of them in total, which meant each bite of the burger was given a beautiful-tasting crisp texture The fried egg added as a perfect topper to the patty - it was somewhat leaking, but combined so well with the rest of the burger to add just that additional soft egg-like flavor that I love. Giving props to myself on that fantastic addition even the lettuce and onions were really good in this burger! if all of this wasn't enough - it also came with a side of tater tots - and a lot of them While I wish these were warmer, and slightly more oily, I did absoutely love the crunch of the breading on these, along with the soft interior these tots were a great break from the traditional default fries that typically come with a burger i do wish they had their own dipping sauce rather than the default kraft mayo in a tube This meal was especially impressive because it didn't cost *that* much (about 20 dollars in total) but the portion size was quite massive The burger, and especially the meat, was pretty huge - big enough that I couldn't eat it with just one hand at the start I would have to say the entire meal lands over 2000 calories - which is quite impressive this meal was so good that even though i was in a pretty suboptimal eating environment (an airport lounge seat with no table) it was still incredible

I stopped by here while leaving Charlotte for a work trip. Bad Daddy's is a good choice in the city so I figured it would be good in the airport. I was getting breakfast so I was a little worried. BUT, the food was actually pretty good. I got french toast and bacon. It did the trick and I was happy with my choice. Friendly service and didn't take long at all. I took my order to go and ate at my gate but they provided all the tools and utensils I needed. Great airport bite for sure.

Sweet potato fries
Jessica A.

Quick stop en route to my gate, I ordered a vanilla milkshake, but they were out of all milkshakes. So I opted for the sweet potato fries. Menu said they came with blue cheese crumbled, but all I got was plain sweet potato fries and the dipping sauce. Very overpriced for what it was. Service was fast. Fries were good, but not what I expected.

Big, open and airy. Lots of seating and a few party rooms too. Loved the outdoor seating too. If it had been a little cooler that would have been perfect. They have cornhole and ping pong and just a fun atmosphere out there. Our server was warm and attentive. We did not have to wait for refills and she was quick to answer any questions we had. We started with a few apps - the chips and onion dip and the pigs in a blanket. The chips were well salted and the onion dip was DELISH!!! The pigs were wrapped in homemade party dough and came with a honey mustard crème fraiche. They were so good!! For entrees we tried the fried chicken, prime rib dip, and the meatloaf. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The mashed potatoes were so good too. The only misstep on this dish was the biscuit. Way too dense and not very flavorful. The prime rib dip was tender and came on the most crispy bread. What a great combo! The only thing that wasn't great were the fries, just nothing too special. The meatloaf dish was flavorful and came with those yummy mashed potatoes so great pairing. We didn't have room for dresser on site but we did take the monkey bread to go and enjoyed it later. Good portion size and full of apple and caramel flavor. Did not regret taking that home!! Really looking forward to this spot opening closer to home. Highly recommended

As walk-ins near kitchen closing, we were quoted a 20-30-minute wait, but luckily found seats at the bar. The space is huge, though several seating sections were closed, and the late-night atmosphere leaned more toward a lively bar than a quiet dinner. The three bartenders were busy but friendly, approachable, and accommodating. We especially enjoyed chatting with the bartender from Watertown, NY, since we also have ties to the area. The noise made dining less comfortable, but the energy was contagious. The drinks were very good, and the menu offered more variety than we're used to in Winston-Salem--a cosmopolitan feel that reminded me of NYC. With the kitchen closing soon, we ordered the French onion soup and pretzel bites with provolone fondue. The soup tasted more like a Creole-inspired chicken soup to me, although our server confirmed it was French onion. It was warming and flavorful, but overly salty. I liked the pretzel bites' texture, somewhere between a pretzel and a bun, though I would have preferred them more baked and slightly saltier. The provolone fondue was mild for my taste; I'd prefer a sharper cheese. My girlfriend, however, enjoyed the combination. I loved the spacious, upscale urban setting, with indoor and outdoor seating and space for music and entertainment. I'd return earlier in the evening for a more dining-focused experience and a chance to explore the menu. The service and atmosphere give me plenty of reasons to try it again.

We placed our appetizer orders and upon taking our first bite of the ahi tuna, which is not tiny and you get a mouthful, the server asked us to order entrees. Timing was really awkward, irritating, and just uncomfortable. We were trying to get out our order while our mouths were stuffed from the app. So we didn't enjoy the app and were forced to put in our entree at that moment in time. Worse than that, I was still eating my entrée and they were pushing the desert menus on us. I literally had to say, "I would like to focus on my entree before thinking about a dessert." I'm not sure I've ever had any high-end restaurant do this. It was just so obnoxious and you could feel they were just looking to do super quick turns. I've never been that rushed and this place isn't inexpensive. The Peach Palmer was very good. He brought my father a decaf cappuccino 3/4 of the way through the dessert and then proceeded to bring the bill moments later. Clearly, the chefs are extremely talented and the servers enjoy working here, but feeling so rushed is why I won''t ever come back again. The timing throughout felt extremely off and took away from what otherwise should've been a top notch meal and dining experience. Such a shame, and one that could've easily been avoided by potentially giving us a total of 10-15 extra minutes of time to move through our meal. Instead, it seemed like the goal was to get us in and out and rush everything. Not exactly the memory you want to have on any occasion, let alone an anniversary one at over $100/person.
