Line was sooo long (it's the airport, there's no getting around this fact of life), but they were moving people along really fast. Once I got to the front and placed my order, I didn't even have time to put my straw in my drink before my food was ready. Employees were pleasant, food was good, service was fast despite the unavoidably disgusting number of people that are present at any given time at any airport at any time of day. This isn't quite the same quality and service you get at most Chic fil As unfortunately. They ran out of biscuits after I ordered so I had to wait even longer for it. Chicken biscuit was cooked well but I couldn't eat my bacon, egg, and cheese because the bacon was suspicious. It was not crunchy and very fatty. This Chick Fil A had the longest line of anywhere I saw at the Charlotte airport. I got in line anyway and eventually made my way to the front. I made the mistake of ordering the new sandwich they were advertising. Tons of people who ordered after me got their food before me. Eventually I noticed another guy who was waiting for a long time had ordered the same thing as me. He had a plane to catch so he told them to switch his order and just give him a regular chicken sandwich. After he waited a bit more, he got his revised order; 30 seconds later I got my order. If he hadn't changed his order he might have gotten his food faster than if he did change it. Overall, it probably would have been fine if I ordered something more common, but it shouldn't make a difference, especially at a location like this where people might not be able to wait. Call me crazy and an outlier, but I'm not a big fan of Chick-fil-A. I don't see what all the fuss is about especially since I recently found out that they're not supportive of DEI and their company culture seems contrary to the friendly people who greet you online. When if Chick-fil-A decides to join the humanity of the global community, I might try them again. Until then, it's a hard pass for me. I had food from the airport it was a chicken sandwich and when I received it the bun was cold and it tasted off the whole time like there wasn't chicken in between the bun more like cardboard. I was half way through eating when I had an AWFUL raw type taste in my mouth and had to spit it out. Shortly after I had the worst stomach ache and I hadn't eaten anything else that day so I knew it was the chick fil a, later that night I had really bad food poisoning and unfortunately threw up. The service wasn't that great and I hope even when they're busy they will atleast cook their food all the way through next time. Today I had to go through three cashiers to come up to the fourth cashier that I was told is the only one that takes cash that after I ordered, she told me she did not take cash. It was ridiculous. Our order of a Chick fil A chicken sandwich and 8 count nuggets/fries came out quickly, correctly, and with a generous amount of sauce. We had to leave the Carolinas sooner because of the hurricane so we didn't get our fried chicken fix. We were looking for food options to our terminal and because we were there early, we decided to check the map and noticed the Chick -Fil-A at the main food court. So, we decided to check it out. The line was short, the seating area was big and invited so we placed our order: the original chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and lemonades. Service was better than other eateries in airports, we got offered sauces, etc. The food was decent, hot, tasty. The lemonade is nice and tart as usual. We enjoyed a nice meal before boarding. Can't order via the mobile app. Lines for days, not thier fault but you have to skip the temptation of wanting chick fila at this airport unless you have a connection of 2+ hours. I've been burned twice now trying to make it happen. Lesson learned. It's just too much volume for one location. Make your plan and head to popeyes instead. Since they opened this CFA in Charlotte's airport, it's never been open when I've been here. I usually leave from Charlotte on Sunday (they're closed on Sunday) and I usually get in late on weekdays (they close at a reasonable hour) so this was the first time I've been here and they've been open! The place was super packed. Like crazy so, with a long line of people to place orders (8 minutes) and a long crowd of people to pick up orders (7 minutes). The line does move as quick as it can, so be patient. If you don't have time, I'd suggest the BK a little further down. I got the usual Number One (hold the pickle) with waffle fries. My chicken sandwich was excellent. Just as good as any stand-alone CFA. Fresh and hot. Waffle fries were still hot and quite good. You need to start opening this location on Sunday. Seriously. When people are at this specific location, its because they have a connecting flight. Meaning they're within the security area, with limited time, and LIMITED FOOD OPTIONS. You make it worse on every single passenger here by hoarding up a spot in the food court and staying closed on one of the busiest travels days of the week. This is a crowded airport! Nobody cares about your religious or political beliefs when they just want something to eat in a place they're stuck in. To have to deal with longer lines at other restaurants because you're closed is appalling. I really hope that the owners of this food court will take note of the perpetual problem being cause by this Chick-Fil-A. This place is extremely busy and they do their best to process your order. I was looking for lunch, however they were still serving breakfast, but they had a special line for lunch orders. They had an employee assigned to that line to make sure everything went okay. It takes a while to get your order because of the number of people in line , so if you are in a hurry, this might be a good option for you.
