The name kind of throws you off but I like the concept. You can shop while you check your mail and send packages. I found somethings to be a little overpriced. Got to pick up some small trinkets & a card to mail out to a friend. While I still find floor customer service on the awkward side (I feel like they don't want to interrupt me when I'm browsing but keep walking by looking at me), the customer service at the counter was top notch. They boxed up my goodies for a small fee & sent it out with zero hassle. While I'm not sure I will buy bigger ticket clothing items there, they do have some pretty rockin' sales right now. I'm not comfortable enough yet to try on items but maybe I'll get there one day. read more

The queen anne dispatch is great. They offer a great mail service and your lady will love it too. It is like a mini-Nordstrom up on Queen Anne. Sometimes the clothing prices are a little steep, but they often have sales that make my female friends go nuts. Over all, i give this place 5 stars. they have a great operation. And from the large number of employees they have, they must be doing well. read more

Cute clothes, but the customer service was horrible. I tried on a pair of shoes but the gal "helping" me seemed to be more concerned with a regular customer that came in. I wanted to buy them so I sat on the bench for a minute waiting for somebody to box them up for me to purchase. I looked over at the counter and there was another girl just glaring at me like I was going to steal them or something. I ended up buying the shoes only because I really like them. I won't ever shop there again. No help and mean employees. An over all bad experience. read more

This store has very cute clothes, however they are overpriced so I have never purchased anything and cannot comment on their quality or overall value. My review however is for their awful postal service! I received a package from Nordstrom that did not fit correctly and took it to their store to ship it back the same day it arrived as I wanted to get my refund quickly to use the money to purchase something else from the anniversary sale before it ended. I dropped off my package on Aug 1st, service was fine at the counter however I was a little put off when the girl behind the counter informed me there was a $1 charge for "processing". It wasn't particularly the amount that bothered me, it was the fact that this was a prepaid package which normally I would just drop off at USPS for no charge. Not really sure what "processing" was involved other than someone handing it to the mailman the next morning when he came by to drop off their mail. Anywho paid the $1 whatever no big. What really ticked me off and prompted this review is by Aug 10th I had not received any word from Nordstrom that they received my return which is highly unusual. I checked the tracking number the girl gave me and sure enough it showed they had not even given my package to the USPS man until AUGUST 9TH! Since when does it take over a week to give a prepaid package to the post man who I'm sure stops by their store every day??? The unprofessionalism of a so-called postal dispatch literally blew my mind. Long story short, I would rather drive my package down to USPS in lower Queen Anne from now on rather than walk the short distance to Queen Anne Dispatch because of their poor service and silly $1 charge for said poor service. Avoid at all costs! read more

I have not been into this store since I wrote my review about them, but I drive by everyday and saw a cute sweater in the window. I mentioned to my husband and him being sweet popped in there to try and find it. They had changed out their windows the day prior and he wasn't exactly sure which sweater it was. The staff was HELPFUL and FRIENDLY and tried to assist him but were not sure what sweaters were in the window. They asked a lady in the back and she was rude and curt simply stating that they have many sweaters in the store. Come on now it's a tiny store and although they carry a lot of stuff you can't tell me which 4 sweaters you had in the window and you need to be rude about it. Luckily the staff kept trying to help my husband and eventually came to the sweater that it was, but they did not have my size. Which is best because the sweater was $118 and I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a sweater where someone was rude to me in asking for it. It's unbelievable and he told me he will not be going back in there and I laughed, um yeah I DON'T anymore for a reason! read more

I love Johnny Was clothes! I had been shopping around looking for JW tops. A shop in University Village has them (this shop also has a store in Bellevue Square). They didn't have my size on this specific top. I had given up hope on the top. I went into QAD today and there was the top in my size and for a much better price (about $40-50 cheaper)!! The prices in QAD are excellent. I also saw some shoes there that I saw at another shop for at least $30 more. Now I only wish the crystalyn kae purses had one in a backpack style. Not a QAD problem though. Good job, QAD!! read more

One of my favorite places in Seatlle. I love the entire Queen Anne neighborhood and this store is one of the best. I find something different each time I go. I love the cards, the jewelry, the shoes, things for the house, bath products and candles. A great place to find just the right gift. The fact that you can ship from here is just icing on the cake. I am surprised by the unfavorable reviews about the people being unfriendly or snotty; that has never been my experience. The stools at the counter are nice; this is almost like shopping at a friend's house. Do yourself a favor and check it out. read more

I have gone to QAD for years mainly to pick up and send mail. But I have also bought gift items, clothing and lots of cards. It is always a pleasant spot to pop into because everything is attractively presented in nice zones: there is a clothing area, jewelry area, little gifts, cards and the shipping area. And they change up the displays, so there is always something new to look at. There is some turnover in the staff but everyone I have come across has been polite and friendly without being grating or artificial. If you are in Queen Anne it is definitely the place to stop by. Clothing can be on the pricey side but the quality is good, and they also have sales. read more

This store is one reason I'm grateful to live in Queen anne. I love mailing things here. It's the exact opposite experience from going to a stressful, rude post office. I almost never have to wait, they are willing to help with packing, they save any addresses you've mailed to before, and they help you feel calm and organized.
