After a number of emails back and forth, they were not able to send me the original mailing receipt which is required to file a claim with USPS, so it seems unlikely I'll get anything from the claim anyways. They even gave me a "tip" that I should look into getting a secure mailbox, as if that would prevent an empty box from being delivered in the first place. In the end, I spent $140 for a box with nothing more than tissue paper and promotional material. Oh, did I mention they generously offered to send me the products again if I pay 60% more than I already paid? Thanks, but definitely not going to throw more money in your direction only to lose it again. Update: Just to clarify, this is not a case of mailbox theft...I was physically delivered an empty box by the carrier. There is always risk involved with shipping, and as the shipper, it's your responsibility to ship in a way that reasonably reduces risk and puts shipping liability on the carrier. Since you put more than $100 of your product in a box that's only covered for up to $100, you put the risk on the customer. I can't possibly be refunded now. You also could have reduced risk within reason by not advertising on the outside of the box that there is jewelry inside.

The store is so aesthetic and thoughtfully curated, it's like the kind of bookshop that makes you want to read every book on the shelves. The LGBTQ+ selection was excellent and very visible, not tucked in a corner, which immediately made the space feel welcoming and intentional. The vibe overall is just really pleasant and warm, you can tell it's a place that actually loves books and the people who love books. The owner Gibran started talking to my daughter about making her a custom T-shirt and she said she wanted a velociraptor on it He said " how about a T Rex?" And she said "no a RAPTOR!" He and my daughter sat down (found a raptor template) and designed her shirt and when it was done she loved it. Then next time I went in, I was shopping for myself. I gravitated towards my normal looks, then Gibran brought me a few items. At first, I was like this is totally not me, I will look terrible in this and I tried it on and boy was I wrong. Everything he brought me looked amazing. There were a few things I was not convinced about, only because I didn't think I could pull them off, but I ended up buying two awesome sweaters and one shirt. Today my seven-year-old and I went in to check out some of their new things and again Gibran helped style me. He knows that I wear tights/leggings all the time, but that I want to expand my look. He showed me pieces that I could wear with leggings and new things that were a little bit different. Not only did he do that, but he explained why certain things looked good on my body type. I bought a few different pieces, including one that I wasn't sure about last time. My 7 year old asked for another custom shirt and she snagged a cool tiger hat. I got a Phinney Ridge hat for my 14 year old son too. This is the place you can go and know that what you are walking out with looks amazing on you and It's not just some sales person saying "oh yeah you look great" when you clearly don't. The larger sizes sell quickly, which is normal in secondhand stores, so visit regularly to find your size. They are well curated, both selling and consigning, so don't get insulted if they reject some of your clothes for resale. They pay fairly based on my experience with other stores. I saw comments about the staff being snobbish - and I would prefer commenters mention distinct behaviors rather than label people. My experience is that they leave you alone to shop but will help if you ask. They don't ooze with chitchat - but are helpful. Yes you have to make an appointment to consign but that doesn't seem like a reason to give a 1-star rating. They have an easy consignee portal where you can check the status of your clothing and sales.
