Edwin, Carlos and Cabdidd were my moving team and they were great with communication, prompt on arrival, fast and careful during the move and easy to work with. They did what would have taken me days in a few short hours. All of my items arrived in perfect condition and they even put together our furniture. I hired Quantum Moving company on February 12, 2024, to move my stuff from a storage unit in Concord to my new house in Fairfield, CA. The 3 employees were there 10 minutes before the scheduled time of 8 am and got right to work. They had my stuff unloaded at my house by 11:30. They were accommodating with moving the heavy furniture into the house and putting it where I wanted it to go. All 3 employees were very efficient and professional. We interviewed several other companies initially gathering information etc. However, after speaking with Dan, the owner of Quantum and having him come onsite we were totally at ease that we had the best company to use. tldr: I had a very easy, personable, and organized experience with Quantum Moving! They protected and wrapped everything well and moved with a swift speed. Clean truck and the team kept the boxes and furniture clean. Great positive attitude too from the team the day of, they are respectful and have good humor. We moved on Oct 4, but leading up to the move, Dan (the owner) and Sammy was very good at following up, answering any questions, and making sure that we're getting the right quote we needed. After the initial estimate, Dan came out to do an assessment of how much stuff we needed. He's a personable guy with many years of experience in the business. All his folks on his moving team are employees, so I liked that because in my experience, people usually take ownership of their work if they are valued as employees. On the day of the move, the team texted me to confirm arrival. Don, Nunu, Reme, and Issac were the moving team and they introduced themselves, and I gave them a tour of the rooms and what needed to be moved. They paid attention to our instructions on what to move. The team also put down runners that were like long yoga mats to protect the floor and carpet at the old and new place. They were also very swift at disassembling and assembling furniture. The only they they don't assemble are baby cribs, for obvious reasons. Dan from Quantum Moving is one of the most easy person to work with. I had to change the free estimate time a few times and he was so flexible. He came completely prepared with his notepad documenting every single thing that needed to be moved. Also, his email correspondences were quick. While I've moved over 2 dozen times in my life it is not an experience I've ever once enjoyed. I was especially dreading my last move as I was not only moving further than I ever had before, I was also doing the majority of the packing myself. I decided to get a moving company for all the actual heavy lifting and was immediately put off by what felt like scams from a number of movers on Yelp. I ended up finding Quantum Moving on Angie's List, Dan reached out and offered a quote based on the size of my home and the items I had. While the cost was more than the other movers I'd gotten quotes from I was impressed by the experience they had in the business and appreciated the fact that they offered a flat rate. Come moving day a four man crew showed up promptly at 8 AM and loaded everything I'd spent a week packing in about an hour and a half. They were polite, efficient, and took great care with our fragile and sentimental items. I could not have asked for a smoother experience. Despite the new location being 100 miles away and encountering some traffic they had everything unloaded in the new place a little after 1 PM. Moving sucks, but these guys make it easy. Dan and his team made the move very easy for us. We had the majority of our items packed in boxes prior to the move, so getting things out the door was pretty easy. They took apart, wrapped up all of our furniture that could be damaged in the truck, and reassembled it at our new place. When moving out of our SF apartment, they were very mindful of the staircase when moving the larger items downstairs. We hired Quantum moving for our move from San Francisco to South Lake Tahoe. It was an incredibly painless and easy experience from the moment we spoke with Dan on the phone who gave us a very straight forward and honest quote from our move, consolidating from two apartments in the city to a home 3.5 hours out in Tahoe. Important to note that I called over half a dozen other movers while planning this move and no one else had as quick of a response or as honest of a pricing structure, nor could anyone guarantee our items delivered as quickly as Quantum could. When it came to our move date, our movers, Cortes and Elias were consummate professionals. They showed up on time, communicated days in advance via text and phone, and were just amazing to see how they turned this monster move for us into a seemingly easy one day trip. Cortes checked in with us throughout the move to see if we were happy with the placement of items and was extremely thorough. They wrapped all of our hard to pack items with care. They even got to our house in Tahoe early and shoveled our driveway for us as we had gotten a little snow earlier in the week, all to clear a path to the front door. Unreal. I cannot speak highly enough of Dan and his team at Quantam Moving. Dan came to my home in San Jose to do an in person estimate. He was far more thorough than the other companies who gave estimates. He took his time explaining their services and learned about the specifics of our situation. I made an unusual request and, rather than saying no up front, he thought about it, spoke with his team, and was willing to help us out. On moving day, we had a team of 6 people who had to pack our kitchen and load all our stuff. They worked in record time and finished before the estimated time. They worked very carefully, and although we are still unpacking, there has only been one box that had some breakage. (Of course, that was one of the boxes I had packed.)
