Probably the worst food we ever ate. Ordered takeout, when I arrived I still had to wait so I figured the food would be hot, but it was luke warm at best. Crab Rangoons were inedible, full of strange texture and weird taste and cold. Sushi tasted old and crumbled apart. Prices were outrageous. Got our order wrong too. As noted in the other reviews, there's plenty of parking behind the restaurant, interior is clean and the women's restroom is modern and spacious. We were seated promptly for lunch. Plenty of dining space. We were offered drinks then order was taken. They were efficient and friendly. The string beans are delicious. The selection of sauces (red chili oil, sweet sauce, hot mustard) to go with the wonton chips were a tasty snack before lunch arrived. Prices are quite resonance too. The atmosphere was pleasant and we were able to enjoy a conversation at normal speaking volumes. Would definitely come back! read more

I remember ordering from this place when my wife just gave birth to our daughter a few years ago. I was still at the maternity ward and I just remembered how awful an experience it was when the delivery driver dropped off the food and kept checking the credit card slip. I left a decent tip and signed and he kept giving me a dirty look. The nurses said to me it's usually the same guy that does the same thing to everyone. Maybe your driver should look into getting a job that doesn't involve getting tipped out. read more

They are finally open again for eat in dining. I never understood why they went totally take out during covid especially toward the end when other restaurants in the area were serving eat in but now you can be seated inside. Pad Tai was about half of the size of what we got on previous visits. Disappointing since it is mostly noodles which are very cheap to buy but they charge $20.00 for the dish. We also got the tibits app included in it was chicken wings, very good and whole wings, not just wingets, eggroll, small and soggy, pork spare ribs on the bone, large and tasty, best I ever had. All in all, one of the best Asian restaurants in the area for american style chinese food plus the price for alcoholic beverages is very resonable. read more

I order out from here on a semi regular basis. Tonight I ordered sushi, which is usually pretty good. It smelled pretty fishy. I grew up with a fisherman, fish should have very little smell to none of its fresh. The spicy tuna they usually offer was pieces of tuna that have spicy Mayo with them. They've started using more of a raw tuna salad with spicy Mayo. Very mushy and spongy, not very appetizing. Overall anything with the spicy tuna was gross. I'll stick to Cantonese dishes and Sichuan cuisine. Disappointed because they usually do a pretty good job. Their service is almost always very friendly. I would never recommend using them for delivery. Both times when I had the food arrived two hours later. Better off going in person. I'd never go on Christmas Eve either, way too busy. The sit down service is hit or miss. I've had friendly servers and rude servers. They're very generous on the pour with drinks and are fairly good with refills. Overall, I recommend this place for takeout, just not sushi. read more

Ordered through Grubhub last Monday for delivery at 6 on New years Eve. At 5 I saw a message from them that the time for delivery was changed to 7. OK, we could deal with that. Close to 7 I got a call from Grubhub saying the restaurant couldn't fulfill the order for 2 to 3 hours later. Seriously, I was proud of myself for thinking of ordering days ahead so there wouldn't be a problem. Cancelled the order and warmed up leftover American chop suey. How ironic is that?? With its huge layout, you can easily bring 20 of your closest friends, or dine alone or with a date. An excellent choice for everything from casual family gatherings, workplace holiday meals, to weekday lunch with a friend. Ambiance: Most certainly nicer than other Chinese-American restaurants, Quan's is tastefully decorated. There are large tables for group settings, booth, free-standing tables, a sushi bar, and a regular bar. Pick your poison. Parking is a breeze with lots of accessible parking behind the restaurant. Guests are seated from the hostess stand; expect a short wait during busy take-out periods ("usual" lunch and dinner times). Family friendly, for better or worse-- a nearby table had 3 unruly children tossing french fries about. Service: We waited approximately 5 minutes to be seated due to the large volume of take-out orders, which had the phone ringing off the hook, as well as other guests ordering take-out in person. Once we took our places, service was quite exceptional. Complimentary wonton strips with sweet and sour sauce and honey mustard are offered while you browse the ridiculously enormous menu. Our server performed work-day lunch service without a hitch. Food is boxed-up for you at the end of your meal, which adds a nice touch. Food: We both ordered off of the lunch combination menus. I opted for sesame chicken with pork fried rice, and 3 crab rangoons ($7.95), while Jamie got beef teriyaki sticks, fried chicken fingers, pork fried rice, and crab rangoons ($7.85). Lunch specials are available Monday-Saturday from 11AM-3PM (not on Sundays or Holidays). Portions were supple, with enough to last me two meals; Jamie finished his there. All of the food was quite good, better than usual Chinese takeout, though I must admit my food lacked much texture: the sesame chicken batter was soggy, not crisp; the crab rangoon filling was overwhelming with soft cream cheese. The flavor was slightly better than average, but not mind-blowing. Was it worth the price? yes. Definitely looking forward to coming to Quan's again whenever the occasion arises. My date had a gluten allergy and our waitress knew which maki rolls had tempura. This was very helpful because descriptions of the Maki rolls are long. She steered away from several rolls. (It's a big menu) They also have gluten free soy sauce. Ultimately, we ordered spicy tuna, Philly and Alaska rolls. Overall the sushi was very tasty I was impressed. I also had warm pork and noodle soup which I craved a cold winter night. It was OK, not great. When we were done, the waitress brought out the bill, fortune cookies, and disposable warm towels. I came hear after going to a wake nearby. Maybe that was a mistake. It was kind of late, but they were not close to being closed. However the service was so incredibly slow, that we actually looked up their hour just to be sure they weren't closed. It was very slow in the restaurant. Our waiter saw us, saw that we were waiting to order, but made us sit there while he cleaned two tables nearby. Nobody was waiting for them, apparently he just had do things in some specific order. Once you're aggravated by awful service, it is hard to get excited by the food. It seemed pretty pedestrian chinese food to me. Next time I will look elsewhere. read more

I see once again Quan's has ruined many customers Christmas Eve dinner. We didn't bother this year. Every year they seem to get worse not better. I understand busy. I don't understand why a business makes promises the know they can not keep. These people are a complete failure at delivering food at a pre-scheduled time. Quan's is a typical Americanized Oriental food establishment. The staff are attentive and friendly. The food is good but not spectacular. It's across the street from McGee Toyota in Hanover, so it's a nice stop if you're having service done on your car / truck. So all in all it's good and i would recommend it for a nice diner or a large group. They can definitely accommodate either. read more

I made a reservation for 7:05. We arrived at the door at 6:50. My friend gave her request for a table for 2 and they told her there would be a wait.... Until I mentioned I made a reservation online. We were accommodated immediately. No wait! The waiter was ok. The food was good not piping hot but warmer than room temp. The Mai tai was really good and strong and cheap. My friend did not complain. I would recommend and I would go again. The decor was nice and fancy. Tables are covered with linen table cloths and napkins. Over all a good experience. read more

My youngest wanted hibachi but our regular place in Marshvegas is closed on Tuesdays. A mommentary search of yelp brought us to Quan's. This place is not too large, very clean and we were greeted by a friendly staff. My kids love Crab Rangoon which I think usually comes from a frozen box at most places. These were obviously made on site with great care. They seemed to have crab in them as well which is a nice suprize. We then followed up with curried chicken, lo mein and a few makis. The curry was nice with a subtle balance of flavors and fresh vegtables. The lo mein was great and the cut rolls didn't last long with two teenagers. Quality service, ultra clean rest room, well crafted food. We will be back. read more

Came here during the coronavirus pandemic. The place was spotless, employees were wearing masks and gloves. There was signage reminding people to socially distance. There was hand sanitizer and even paper towels available to open the doors with. To sign the credit card statement there were two cups of pens, one "sanitized" and the other "to be sanitized" To top it off, there were individually wrapped rolls of toilet paper with a sign saying each customer could take one free of charge if they need it and that masks and gloves are available upon request. The team really nailed the customer service and made me feel comfortable about going out of the house for take-out. read more

So disappointed in Quans when they first came to the area they seemed to go above and beyond to serve great food but since then it has been slow decline to just bad food. Ordered from there last night to give one last time and was sorely disappointed. The pork fried rice tasted stale as if it had been sitting for days, the pad Thai was bland covered in peanuts and the noodles were clumped together. The crab Rangoon's weren't fully fried and filled with just cream cheese. Ordered takeout on the phone and the phones were ringing off the hook. It appears they are one of the few Chinese restaurants open during this awful pandemic. In any case, I did get hung up on but to my delight, I was called back by the team of two taking phone orders. Picked up our order and it was OUTSTANDING! I ordered the special that was featured on Phantom Gourmet and it did not disappoint. I generally get chicken but the spices and thin slices of beef were delicious. My adult daughter and I go to Quan's pretty much every Sunday for lunch. We get the Po Po platter and lo mein. The food is wonderful. I'm on a low sodium diet and I love that the lo mein is much less salty than any other I've had in the area. The waitstaff has been polite and very attentive while not intruding. We like to eat in a clean quiet environment. Quan's has both. We've not tried much of the menu but based on the quality of the food we've received I have no doubt the entire menu is of equal quality.
