Service and ambiance were great, restaurant is clean and well lit. Food came out timely. menu is large with lots of Chinese and Japanese meals along with sushi. Prices are reasonable. We had a basic meal we tend to get at Chinese restaurants. Open with Hot and sour soup with Chicken wings. Both very good. White rice with an order of Kung Poa Beef and vegetable Lo-Mien. Lo-mien was OK Kung Poa Beef was strange, it had Zucchini and summer squash in it, pnuts just added on top, No scallons, No Hot peppers. Not ordering that again, if we go back. read more

After moving to Weymouth four years ago - I've tried every restaurant in about a 10 mile radius. If you're looking good old-fashioned, classic Chinese food.- this is your place. All the usual nostalgic dishes from your youth. But every dish I've had here is consistently good and much better than 90% of the takeout places on the South Shore. I've never actually have stepped inside the building. I've used DoorDash consistently over the last four years. Even being delivered, this food is always better than what you would get anywhere else. read more

Quan's is nice restaurant with a multi-page menu! Not great for my 89 yr old father. We went for lunch, big dinning area. Extremely echoing from other tables and conversations. Our server was not patient with our order and didn't clarify ingredients in order. I have an extreme shell fish allergy. Food came out hot and mushy! Ordered spicy General Gau chicken, not the worst but was heavily breaded and soggy. Nothing tasted fresh. Great location but food for lunch without the pressure of multiple orders, subpar! read more

They didn't come around to offer food.The lady's bathroom before the show had no toilet paper.And the end of the showThe ley's room was backed up on all toilets. It was disgusting. We made reservations for a party of 4, we got there on time but had to wait about 20 minutes for our table. The place wasn't busy when we were there so it was frustrating having to wait so long, after having a reservation. The food was good, your typical american- Chinese food. Portions were small and prices were high. Not sure I would go out of my way to come back in. read more

Was hoping to like this place because the decor and ambiance are great. Service was great too however to food quality was seriously lacking. General gao chicken was not spicy at all and tasted like sweet and sour chicken. Not much flavor to pork fried rice. The only thing in it was onion and pork. The pu pu appetizer platter was way overpriced for the size and quality The crab Rangoon was odd and possibly not freshly made, not much inside mostly crab and seemingly pre frozen. The chicken fingers were ok. The fried shrimp had a lot of batter. But the boneless spareribs, egg roll and beef teriyaki were very good. Didn't care for mai tai, flavor was different, could have been mango flavored, just not to my liking. Meal was just over 100 including a tip. Total rip off considering how much of the meal was good. The food, drinks, and service at Quan's has made it our go-to for Chinese food for quite some time now, but after Friday night we were really blown away! Any Friday night is busy, but they also had a comedy show that had just let out about 15 minutes before we left, so it was even more so. We left the restaurant, only to discover my bf's car wouldn't start. We came back inside to call AAA (it was COLD out!) and when Julie, one of the owners who was there as the hostess, heard she offered to come out and jump start us! She got cables from one of the staff, brought them out (the man parked next to us was the one who actually tried to jump it, if you're reading this sir thank you very much!) and when it still wouldn't start she offered to drive us home!!! This place is usually pretty good. I got the ginger scallion chicken with hoisin and I didn't taste the ginger or hoisin. The chicken was so soft that I didn't really need a knife. The service was great as usual and they have plenty of seating for everyone. Good Asian spot read more

Stopped in for a very quick supper. I ordered the mixed vegetables with tofu, and white rice. Hmm.... It tasted fine no complaints with the taste and also they cooked the vegetables perfect still had a nice crunch and very fresh. The downside is portion. It would have been exceedingly better if their were more vegetables. And for the price. They really should up the portion. Menu says 13.95 and with the white rice my bill total came to $19.69. This is like a majority of Chinese restaurants.... It's geared towards the meat eating crowd and also this place seems popular for alcoholic drinks. So if your a vegan like me.... This would not be my first choice for Chinese food. But if your with family and friends or are Invited here. Their are a few choices for vegans. But not too many. So I guess as vegans we should be happy that Quans at least has a few vegan options.. Service was ok. But how do you say... Hmm although the waiter was cordial. Sushi here is delicious! So is the Mongolian Beef and Hung Kong steak! Prices for sushi combos and the combos themselves aren't the best, would be better to have more options, like build your own combo choosing from 6-10 different basic rolls! Service can be a little slow at times, but I think that's because they need to hire more servers. Would highly recommend you check it out! Nice atmosphere as well, with a bar! read more

My go-to Chinese restaurant. I try others but I keep coming back to this Quan's. I usually get takeout and my order is perfect every time. My favorites are chicken fingers, bone in ribs, boneless ribs, chicken wings, pork fried or veggies rice, beef with pea pods or broccoli, chicken with cashews. Must try! read more

Food wasn't good, from the crab rangoon to the rice. We didn't think anything was great. The fries are pretty tasty. We got a assortment of sushi. Everything was meh. Lacked flavor and didn't come with any sauces on them. When we pointed this out, missing ingredients the waiter said oh and walked away. He never came back to ask if we wanted refills. He rarely came to the table at all. When we asked for the bill I mentioned the tuna was bad on two rolls we got. Didn't eat them still on the plate he nodded but still charged us. The food was almost $80 bucks for 3 people and the fried rice was the palest rice I ever saw from a Chinese place. the egg foo young tasted like it was old and sitting around for a long period of time . the chicken fingers were very white and oozing oil out of them. Not cooked all the way. Teriyaki chicken had no taste and the Teriaki beef was even worse. The boneless ribs were pretty good actually.But we would have been better off getting frozen Chinese dinners from PF Changs at out grocery store for at fraction of the cost and would have been able at least eat it . Ordered a combo with the pork fried rice, jumbo shrimp, chicken wings and boneless ribs. The rice had no taste or flavor. Also got their crab rangoons, solid 4/10. The customer service was decent considering that I was the only person in there. read more
