Yes under new management 2025. Changes were rough 1st go around. I decided to give a 2nd chance. Spoke to them about the lack of flavor and egg roll situation. Was listened to kindly, my meals were spiced up and great egg roll. She reminded me to just talk to her, will make right. Much better but still different. China Wok is always consistent. Their Pu Pu Platters always offer a generous amount of selections that are cooked just right and taste delicious without being too greasy. Their fried tid bids are consistently fried to perfection and fillings are always fresh whether it be their eggrolls, crab rangoon, peking ravioli, fried shrimp or fried chicken fingers. The beef fried rice w/lobster sauce is our go to and never disappoints. The establishment itself is always clean and service is never disappointing. They also provide a GREAT delivery service which always arrives in a timely fashion, hot and with a smile. I would recommend China Wok to all who are in the area or are seeking chinese food delivery. They are back open and they have the best set up for take out that I've seen during this pandemic. They built a plastic vestibule that you walk into and they have a slide door that they open to put your order on a table. It was very busy so you know people are happy its back open. It was the best Chinese food we've had in the past 2 months! As I recommended to others who got out of their cars and weren't sure what to do, I said call them to see if your order is ready. Then if it is you can go into the vestibule and pick it up. So happy to see places starting to open back up!! read more

We are new to Pembroke and when we asked the realtors about Chinese food recommendations they had only mentioned Royal Garden, which we tried and were very disappointed. We got the craving for Chinese food again and decide to try this restaurant China Wok and hands down this will be my go to as long as they are open. Amazing food! China Wok is our favorite place for take out Asian cuisine. The staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate substitutions and special requests. The food is always delicious and plentiful. My son's favorite is the chicken lo Mein, which they make special for him without any vegetables. We've tried pretty much the entire menu and never been disappointed. The chicken teriyaki appetizer is our favorite. Since Covid they have taken great measures to insure the safety of their customers. The China Wok is located where Mr. Pine was on RT53 in Pembroke next to Alumni Cafe. The decor is minimal to say the least. There were two car tires inside next to the door for some reason. The staff could care less if you did business there or not, but the food is OK. It's difficult to say I'd recommend them or not as I have only gotten appetizers here which are good. read more

This is a brand-spankin'-new location of China Wok. (They have one in Marshfield, and I believe one in Peabody, among others?) I've eaten from the one in Marshfield a bunch of times, usually when I'm just feeling too lazy to cook, and we want some quick, greasy Chinese "comfort" food *nothing like a little mid-week take-out, right?*. And that's what I expect from China Wok. A little greasy, but tasty American-ized apps, standard rice/noodles, etc. It's cheap, quick and yummy. Sometimes you're just craving a big bowl of veggie lo mein and chicken teriyaki. Yum. This location is new, so I'll definitely give them another chance, but we got some take-out from here last weekend, and it was greeeee-say. Super greasy. I'm feeling a bit generous with the 2 stars, actually, but since it's a new location, maybe they have to just iron out the kinks. *AKA- Use less oil!* Located on Rt. 139, next to Alumni Cafe. Hands down the best Chinese food restaurant I've ever been to. For many reasons. The food is GREAT - not greasy AT ALL - and no greasy aftertaste. Very flavorful; I've tried just about everything except the spicy dishes. I highly recommend the chicken chow mein. This is loaded with tender pounded out chicken breast pieces - delicious and not overlooked. The poo poo platter for 2 can actually feed 4 people. In fact no matter what you buy you will be pleased with portion sizes - and when I say they cram the to-go containers full, I mean THEY REALLY CRAM them full. After ladling some out on 4 plates when I brought it home it looked like I hardly took anything out, that's how well crammed-full it was. So not only is the food of high quality, tasty, not greasy, and portions enormous, the PRICE is unbelievably reasonable! I received twice the amount of food than I received from the restaurant down the street for less than half the price. The staff is very friendly - they deliver too. The place is very clean. The sad thing is, looking at the building from the outside I almost did not go in - it is a tiny little building. I initially thought it would be a grimy place that serves greasy food. One of my favorite restaurants in the area for a quick and cheap Chinese meal. This place doesn't hide that it is "Chinese Fast Food" (says it right on their menu) so do not expect a gourmet meal. With that said, everything I have had has been very good and is also affordable. Americanized choices done well. Lo-mein is greasy but delicious for me. I would recommend giving it a try for take out- there is not much of a dining room. read more
