Ping and Kong the owners and are hard working, kind people. We've been so many times we have become friends. They surprised me with a FRIED ICE CREAM. Well I want to tell you all it was so unbelievably delicious. Never had it before. I'm not really a dessert gal so I just had a few bites to celebrate my birthday and I was so glad I did. Memorable to say the least! I did not even know they had it! A big thank you to the whole staff that makes some of the best Chinese food around. Don't let the building fool you. We always dine in and it's always nice and clean.

Terrible Service, Incorrect Order, and No Accountability" I had a very disappointing experience with China Wok and will not be returning. I placed an order for fried rice, chicken fingers, and requested to substitute chicken teriyaki for beef teriyaki. This simple substitution took nearly ten minutes on the phone to be approved, which was already frustrating. After spending that much time ensuring my order was correct, I was shocked to find that upon arriving home, my order was incorrect. Instead of the chicken fingers I ordered, I was given crab rangoon--an item I am allergic to. When I called to address the mistake, I was not offered an apology or a proper resolution. Instead, I was told to come back to the restaurant to fix their error, despite the inconvenience this caused. When I requested a full refund due to their mistake, they refused and insisted on replacing the food, completely disregarding my frustration. To make matters worse, they left me on hold after I clearly stated I did not want a replacement. I was on hold so long that I was able to write this entire review while waiting. This level of service is unacceptable. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and including images of the incorrect order. I would not recommend China Wok to anyone who values their time, money, or basic courtesy. read more

Don't be fooled by the innocuous looking building and lack of flash. This little place is full on authentic, hot, fresh and cooked to order! Unlike a few of it's contemporaries in the area. CHINA WOK Will not disappoint!! One of THE best Chinese Restaurants in NEW ENGLAND. It looks to me like any bad reviews are shill competitors. I would go way out of my way to come to CHINA WOK! The spare ribs were tender, the marinade on the chicken wings was so nice and the crab Rangoon were little fatties and fully stuffed with the perfect blend of crab and cream. We had the crazy chow fun (foon) with beef but without the spiciness so it was regular beef chow fun. Again the meat was tender and the wide noodles had the right amount of sauce. I had a scorpion bowl, it hit. I've seen some ugly reviews on here and honestly think two of the people whose last names start with S worked together on bashing this place, not cool Brian and Jen. Take out food will always be compromised by packing it, steam and travel. Don't judge food like that. This is the place for a fun first date, get a scorpion bowl for two. Pulled out the chicken bits and those two shrimp and trashed the rice noodles because I didn't even have a store-bought packet of Pad Thai sauce on hand to zhush it up! On the cold side, the go-to order of sushi Chirashi was good, fortunately because we were down two dishes out of three!
