G&H were up front in telling me that even if they could find it, that because of specialty parts and tools from Land Rover, they may not be able to actually fix it. The guys were very diligent in their troubleshooting and after some time, found a loose bolt on the lower end of one of the airshocks. No expensive parts, no specialty tools, just tightened up the bolt, tested to make sure that solved the issue and sent me on my way (for less than I spent on lunch on the way home.

To start with, they didn't even take a look at the car that day. We called later in the day and they never returned our call. The next day they told us it needed more items then the original estimate, which is not unusual, but the job still should have only taken a few hours. Once again, they did not call back at the end of the day and they never either picked up our calls or returned our VM. To make matters worse, we found out their hourly labor charge is much, much higher than other local auto repair places. I cannot say for sure, but I have a feeling we were gouged since the car was towed in and there was little we could do. I have already started a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive Repair.

It wasn't a problem for their team - They actually have mechanics that used to work at different dealerships (like BMW) so one of their guys knew exactly what to do for my specific car. They changed the battery, hooked up a computer to the cars computer, and reset all of the info needed so the car knows it has a new battery. It saved me a trip to Modesto knowing there's a mechanic up here competent to deal with all different types of cars with all the necessary gadgets and computers to do the work. Thanks again!
