My car looks like a brand new car! In the past, I took my car to Caliber Collision for any body shop work. Unfortunately, I decided to switch my car insurance company, and when I called them, they laughed because "Fred Loya" doesn't pay their rates. However, I saw a Calliber's review that recommended Qualiteck Auto Body. I asked them for an estimate, and I told Eddie that my insurance underestimated the cost of the damage in my car. Eddie told me they would deal with the insurance, and they did. Qualitek took so much stress off my shoulders! They fixed my car promptly, and the quality of their service was excellent, and their prices were reasonable. I even ended up switching insurance based on Eddie's suggestion. Overall, I'm thrilled with the results. My car looks brand new, like the accident never happened.

My car was towed here after an accident based on the recommendation of the tow company. My car needed the two drivers side tires replaced and one rim replaced, along with an alignment. After 3 weeks of not having my car, I decided to go check on it in person. To my surprise they had not even touched it this was on 12/8/21. I spoke with Eddie who told me that my tires and rim were on back order. I asked where my old tires were. He told me he didn't know, they were probably at discount tire. Eddie became visibly irritated that I was asking questions. He told me that every shop in Austin was book until mid January and that they were doing me a favor by taking my car in. I told him that I appreciated that but I wasn't aware that it would take that long. Seeing that I had already paid, I asked what it would look like if I had the car towed away and did this on my own. He got quite flustered and told me that I would have to put a restocking fee. To which I asked how much would that be and why would I have to pay that if they don't have the part and neither does the supplier. Eddie continued to tell me that if they knew this was a rush job they wouldn't have taken it and how again they were doing me a favor. I was uncomfortable with him saying this because all I was trying to do is have my car fixed, he made it sound like they moved oceans for me. It was then that I decided I needed to get my car out of here because it just didn't feel right. After calling their supplier aka Discount tires I found out that my tire size was indeed in stock and that my rim was actually a showcase rim and they had plenty. I called two shops less that 5 miles from qualitek who said they could help me that day if it was just tire and rim replacements. I returned to Qualitek just two hours after leaving to find that my car had the new tires and rim installed (crazy coincident right?). I walk up to Eddie and ask if the alignment would done today to which he says "no, I'm not doing that. Just take the car. I'll refund you the difference." So, grand total for all this now is $861.22 I have the car towed to another shop because I don't know if anything else is wrong with the car. That is when the shop tells me that the wrong size tires were put on the vehicle and there was no way to align the car properly and it was unsafe to have different size tires on one side. So, I call Eddie and tell him that the wrong tires are on the car. He tells me " yeah I told you that your tires are on back order" and I tell him that discount tire has my tire size that I had already confirmed that the day I came in. This is when Eddie tells me that he will no longer be speaking and that they are done with my car. That he would only speak to the man who is paying for the repairs". Long story short they REFUSED to put the CORRECT tires on. I had no choice but to go to discount tire myself and change them. Essentially paying them for nothing since THEY DID THE JOB WRONG. It was then I found out that not only had they never put in an order for my tires prior to Dec 8th when I came in but the reason they were wrong is because they ordered them under the wrong car. IF THAT wasn't enough when they refunded me they called discount tire and had them remove the insurance from the tires AFTER the car had already left their shop. BUT WAIT there's more when the tires were replaced with the correct tires two lug nuts were stripped and the tire key that my rims require was NEVER returned to me. SO NOT ONLY DID I PAY over 800 dollars and not have the correct work done but they also pocketed my tire key!! This shop has no remorse and didn't once try to make it right. Here are the copies from discount tire as proof. DO NOT GO HERE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A WOMEN.

Two words: UNPROFESSIONAL and DECEITFUL…read more I truly don't know where to begin. I despise writing a poor review for a locally-owned business, but after months of being led-on and ignored, I am writing this in hopes of saving someone else's precious time. My husband was in a car wreck in October 2025. The person who rear-ended him has terrible insurance, so we decided to file a claim through our insurance, Allstate. Capital City Collision provided us a quote that our insurance did not agree with. An Allstate negotiator went back and forth with the shop. Part of the issue was my husband's truck had after-market parts that were damaged. Our Allstate negotiator, Elizabeth, called us to confirm that she was able to get funds approved by her manager and they reached an agreement on pricing with the shop. A check for $2,207.66 was sent to the shop to start ordering parts. According to Allstate, the shop cashed the check on January 20th. It is now March 19th and the shop still has yet to reach out. I have tried calling the shop multiple times in the last two months. Each time I call, they answer and hang-up immediately. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe they are busy. I tried calling the shop today, and again, same situation: answer, then hang up. I thought to myself, "hmm... maybe they really are ignoring our calls?" So I waited 15 minutes and called back with a blocked number. What do you know... Catherine decided to pick up and answer this time! She kept me on hold for 9 minutes before taking me off hold and hanging up on me immediately. I called back, and a man answered. He transferred me up to Catherine, who kept me on hold for 4 minutes this time and hung up immediately. While I was on hold the second time, I received a text message saying they wouldn't do business with us. They ignored my text, asking when they planned on returning the check they cashed for $2,207.66. My husband and I have been trying to get his truck fixed since October 2025. It is now March 2026. I understand that our insurance was being difficult to work with... we were annoyed by Allstate, too! That being said, Capital City Collision could have rejected our business months ago, instead of stringing us along. Rather than sending this text message 5 months ago when this all started, they chose to dodge our calls and waste our time. Unprofessional does not even begin to describe their behavior. They were avoidant, deceptive, thieving, and rude.
