I have always loved me some QSL :P I've been to several different of their locations including the original one over the years. If you're looking for a cold draft beer, a gigantic burger, and tasty fries, it's a great spot for that. I've had a number of their burgers over the years including the Beyond Meat one after I stopped eating meat. They have all been delicious. I absolutely love their fries and fried pickles. In fact all of their apps are amazing! There aren't many vegan and vegetarian options like most places, but there are enough. The service can sometimes not be the greatest depending on which location you go to but the vibe is always that of your typical sports bar. I'd recommend any of the QSL locations to anyone looking for cold beers at a good price, a good burger and a delicious app. Cheers! read more

Service wasn't bad. But the pulled pork Mac and cheese was cold and had been sitting. The wings weren't hot or fresh. Saw a table send back wings and new ones came out maybe 2 minutes later. So at best they flashed them or tossed more that were just sitting there. The manager was playing with the basketball game when you first walk in. Maybe he should watch his kitchen. Service was quite slow for a very early Friday evening (5pm). Milkshakes are NOT made with ice cream (as one would think)... but rather a mix and ICE! It was OK. I don't frequent chain restaurants often. But we had a group of 10 people who were just looking for a place to eat after a track meet. We choose this place. I got the grilled chicken breast with 2 sides and garlic bread. I would have gotten the wings but dang... the pandemic made those go way up in price. I found the chicken portion to be small compared to the value. I also got a side of the baked beans... Sweet and Spicy sauce... but the beans were a tad undercooked. Which I thought was odd. I grew up on quaker steak, between bike nights and family dinners, came back on a visit home and as always the front of the house greeted with a smile and were so nice, our server Ryan honestly didn't seem to love his job and really seemed to want to rush us through. I understand my boyfriend and I don't drink alcohol but always get an appetizer and dessert. So I know it drives the ticket price down. Horrible Saturday night experience and 75 bucks. We ordered and the waitress returned to say they are our of chicken. Was immensely rude. Sent manager over who berated my mom verbally who is sick and in cancer treatment. She said absolutely nothing. Headed straight to the bar wasn't crowded because it was a Tuesday and around 7pm. The waitress was quick on my drink order which always a plus for me. She even turn the tv volume up on the wild card game so I can yell at the tv. She gave me plenty of time to look over the menu because I've never been here before. I ordered the new NY Strip Steak wit steamed broccoli and the house Mac and cheese. The steak was on point medium rare but the broccoli was dry with none or very season and the mac and cheese didn't help the side order any better the noodle were over cooked. But being that this place is known for their wings I order two 1lb to go. And they made me forget about everything else the wings gave this place 4stars along with the good customer service. We stopped by here for dinner while in the area to visit YSU. Our waitress was great. She was very friendly, answered questions, and made recommendations. One daughter had a burger that was cooked exactly the way she wanted. The other daughter had a gyro which was pretty good. I had the pub fish sandwich. It was pretty good as well. There was a couple of mishaps. I upgraded to a salad as my side. One of my daughters substituted tater tots for the fries. We all got the fries, but our waitress gave us our correct sides in addition to the fries. Also, I wanted a side of chips. The waitress asked I wanted them as an appetizer. I said sure. I didn't realize there was an appetizer size as well, which I was charged for. We ended up eating them all so it was fine. But it would have been nice if the waitress had stated there were two sizes. Avoid! I went here today for the first time in 5 years. I didn't like it last time and this time was even worse. We went here today as a third choice after other restaurants were busy. It took a long time for our food to come out even though they weren't that busy. The wings here sucked, really. They did have decent beers on tap and it's a nice place inside. The host and wait staff were friendly. Now, understand, we had the AYCE buffet. This is completely against everything I believe in, but sounded like the best way to try their wings. No way. Limited selection, not very hot, people picking over my food. Call me picky, but I want the cook (and maybe the wait staff) to be the only ones who can hock in my food. Not Joe Sixpack too (wink). Anyway, the best part was when we went back for the second round at the buffet........they cleared our table, half a beer, plates, forks, etc. They did comp us a beer. Never been here before. Looked kinda cool from the outside. Only draw for us was that it looked like a biker bar. Since we are unicorns we had some concern. We were promptly greeted by someone at the door and seated asap. Our servers name was Jessica and she was extremely nice and took our drink and app order. The vibe inside is more Nascarish or better yet old school race track. There are a bunch of old corvettes as decoration and older car memorabilia around the room. Our apps came very fast. We ordered guac and chips and mozzarella sticks. Both were very good. The guac may have been pre made or bought but it still had good taste. For dinner we ordered the Mac n cheese burger, the lube burger, some wings and the nachos w/beef. Our food arrived fast!! Everything looked great, was hit and actually tasted good. Stopped here with the kids as we have been here one time in the past and thought it would be a good place to stretch our legs and fill our bellies. Well I am glad we stopped. The kids liked the decor I just wish they listed a little about each decor item. We arrived and after a short wait we seated ourselves. I guess there was suppose to be a host to do that ... our waitress was fantastic.... I so wish I would have remembered her name . She was able to offer suggestions. I don't get why you would be charged a split sauce when you order wings that is over a Lb. who wants to eat all then same flavor wings. The wings were very meaty and full of flavor. Tacos on the the other hand is very small, which only takes 2 bites before it's gone. So if you're hungry, it might not be for you. Quaker Steak And Lube used to be one of my favorite places to eat at. The last couple times I have ate at these places they have gone way way down in quality and in service. In the most recent visit I went in with my sister and aunt and our waitress was very odd and not helpful at all. She said she was doing things to save us money but in the end she did nothing of the sort. The service was poor as she was slow and inattentive to our table. The food has taken the biggest hit. They went to a new way of dishing out their wings. You can buy a pound of wings which is only six at this place. Six seems low for a pound as many other places give a pound and its 8 or 9. They say they are jumbo but these were some of the smallest wings I've ever had. Also, you have to pay .99 cents to split the flavor. If you get larger orders like us, you should get at least one split. This was a horrible wing eating experience from at one point a great wing place. Also we wanted something that we use to get all the time. We wanted the buckets of bolts which was not on the menu. We had to ask about it and the waitress had to go check. They were able to do it but it's sad they got rid of one of the best appetizers. Overall a really poor experience we had. Youngstown and PA used to have great wings. Busy night at Quaker. So we sat at the bar. Service is for the most part better when ya sit at the bar. Happy hour until 7 mom through fri now so that worked out pretty good since we got there before it was over. Tall bud light as usual cold refreshing and goes great with a burger. I ordered the el Camino burger because it's a fan favorite so I am a fan and it is my favorite burger from Quaker. It has a little bit of everything which makes it full of flavor and really filling. Topped with black beans,pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, bacon and tortilla strips. It's a mound of deliciousness. With a pile of fries. I usually take the top bun off because the bun is filling and the best part is the burger. We ordered Greek nachos appetizer and they use the warm pita chips and pile it high with gyro meat,feta cheese, lettuce and sauce. The Mac and cheese skillet looked yummy but I was over full and I didn't have room for one more bite. Dh said it was really good and the skillet was clean so I guess that means it gets a thumbs up. I think it's a hit or miss with Quaker so we had great service for it being as busy as it was and the food was really good. Glad we decided to have dinner here. read more

The host walked me and my company who's pregnant, back and forth across a dead restaurant, because the host didn't know which tables were clean and which were dirty. I paid 4 bucks a piece for small dishes of veggies. They do a good job of hiding prices on their menus ex.(not showing $ on desert menu). WOW not someplace I can recommend going to. Husband and I stopped in for some wings on 8/1. Ordered a appetizer and each ordered wings. I always get Louisiana Licker as one of my sauces. Comes to the table and it's so HOT I can't eat them. Server said you're not allowed to change sauces. But she'll ask the manager. By the time she found her way back I'v literally been in the bathroom vomiting. Talk about a night RUINED. Now we say we want the check and boxes as my husband didn't get to eat either. Then the offer to change sauces is given. Not now I need out of this place. NEVER SAW THE MANAGER. Couldn't make their way to our table. Call corporate and they pass it back to the same location that treats their customers that way. Again slap to the face. Just shy of $60 bill and the manager is going to send a gift card for 12 wings. Really 12 wings cost $14.99 Whatever you served me ruined our complete meal that cost $57.84 Maybe said manager should work for two weeks and get paid for a day. It's all all good. Pretty disappointed tonight with the carry out. We order a bit of carry out from here because I'm a huge fan of the biker chick salad. It's the only thing that I will order. I always ask for extra dressing because that's one of the reasons I love this salad!! It's amazing! Well tonight I ordered my salad and extra dressing and 2 other things and my bf was picking it up. When he got home there was NO dressing for my salad or ranch for the fried pickles :( this is the second time this has happened and it's disappointing. We live to far to go back just for dressing. But if I ask for something and it even says it on the receipt I kinda expect it especially because we ALWAYS tip on carry out. Just make sure you're checking your bags because I will be from now on. So we tried Quaker again the other night and dined inside with some friends. So so disappointed. Apparently there is new owners and you can really tell. Our service was very bad and we waited a very long time for our food (and it was not busy) and also our drinks. Our server was not coming to check on us and in the beginning we needed more silverware and I had to get up to find some. All the staff seemed to be hanging out and eating and on their phones in the corner. It felt like a free for all. There doesn't seem to be any structure there anymore. They also changed the dressing for the biker chick salad which is all I get when I'm there and I was so sad. I know restaurants change things but this is why I go there. I've been to many Lubes and this one is by far the worst one. Wings were lukewarm at best. Appetizer was excellent though. They were pretty dead for 4pm on a Saturday yet our service was slow and lacking in things like a simple bone basket or attention to drinks or giving us our bill in a reasonable amount of time.
