I was gonna turn around and leave but decided to give it a try. Had wedding soup and a small spaghetti the wedding soup was average no meatballs just small teeny chunks of meat. And the spaghetti was just again average meatball was small spaghetti portion very small all in all I'd say pass on this place. It looks like they're going out of business to me.

The chicken was a little on the oily side but crispy and still good. The chicken did come with a small arugula salad which was very tasty. The superstar from our order were the meatballs. They come in an order of 3. They were very soft and tasty. The sauce on them was superb. If you are looking to find out what to order, I definitely would not pass up on the meatballs. Yum!

I had the salad of tomatoes and peppers, which is exactly what it was with a little oil and vinegar. Nothing fancy, but good. I had the chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta. Very good. I finished with a blueberry cheesecake, which was excellent. I also enjoyed a professionally made old fashioned. It all worked for me!

I did not order ahead, I placed my order in store to get the hottest possible pizza, and I ended up ordering 3 small pies to try some different slices. I ordered two small cheese pizzas, one with mozzarella cheese and the other with Romano cheese, and the third pizza was a deluxe. To begin, I really enjoyed the Romano cheese pizza. The Romano cheese has a sharp flavor, but it doesn't over power the sauce in anyway. The sauce was sweet, tangy, and really shined with the Romano. Most important, it wasn't greasy. The mozzarella cheese pizza was good, but the thicker cheese reduced the sauce flavor a bit, still good, and with all of the pies, the crust is a very light and airy crust which is pleasant to eat. Lastly, for the deluxe, I could have done without that. It was greasy, heavy, but my biggest issue, you can tell some of the toppings came right from a can. Overall, 3.5/5 for me at this pizzeria. I'd come back again, however, I'd stick with the cheese Romano pizza.

I have to give a shoutout to their staff for their handling & caring of a older lady who came into Uptown Pizza lost & upset. She could have been anyone's Grandma. It was dark out & I felt so bad for her & wanted to help her but I don't know the area well enough to give her any type of direction. The staff at Uptown Pizza sprung into action to help her. Since it was so late & dark they opted to call the Boardman Police to escort her to her destination. That is what you do to foster a good community by being the reason the community is good.
