Sheri is tough but when you're done you understand why, your body thanks you. Jenna makes it fun and Alana is very focused on your form. I have scoliosis and as my back and core become stronger i feel a big improvement in my posture. All the "tuck your ribs, arms and shoulders" commands are helping my mind and body connect with my posture. Everyone needs this! Core strength is essential to good health.

There are a total of seven reformers, signing up for class is super easy and straight forward on their website. There are several different class packs you can buy if you don't want to commit to a membership. I parked at the Schoolhouse parking garage on Green St. $1 for up to two hours and it was only about a three minute walk to the studio. Quick, safe and convenient. I had Sheri as my instructor. Even though it was an intro class, we had a mixture of people with all different levels. Sheri was awesome to give different options to those who are more advanced or simply those who would like a challenge. If you're thinking of taking your first reformers class, don't be intimated because your instructor will go over each functionality/part of the machine. One of the things I look out for when determining how much I'll enjoy the class is whether or not an instructor will be hands-on in correcting your form. Like yes, please correct me so I will know what's the correct way moving forward. So thank you Sheri for being hands-on. I was back home for the holiday season and I'm glad Yelp helped me discover this studio.

Let me start this review by saying I've been a huge morph fan for 2 years, literally declining…read moreevery invite from my friends to try different studios. I've been to Los Feliz when I lived in LA and moved to Pasadena when I moved out of LA. My sister and I collectively referred over 10 people to morph whom purchased beginners class, then beginners 10 pack, and some even 15 class packs. We wondered about referrals and no one got back to us. I don't even want a free class but maybe a pair of socks to show their appreciation for all the business we brought to them. We got nothing, not even a verbal appreciation. I've gotten my friends to mostly fill an entire class a few times too. To me, seems like morph doesn't care about their "morphletes" as much as they portray and they only care about the money. Parking: THE PARKING SUCKS. There's only a few spots and the rest is paid parking. I'm already paying $20 per class, I don't want to pay for parking. You have to go at least 15 minutes early to wait in the parking lot for the previous class to come in for lot parking. Classes: the classes are a breeze, they're so easy compared to other studios. I started going to a different studio while having morph credits still and I'd go to morph when I want an easy workout. The flow of the class is different than other lagree studios, exercises have different names too. Some instructors don't even have holds/pauses in the routine. The classes are just not challenging enough. WHY IS THERE NO APP TO BOOK CLASSES? I feel like at this point, an app is bare minimum. Their latest class is 6pm which is hard to make for a corporate employee to attend. The studio I currently attend has 7pm and 8pm classes. Community: As much as they portray a community, there is no sense of community at morph. I've only been going to this new studio for a year and I feel so welcomed and appreciated. At my other studio, I've gotten acknowledgment for my birthday, 50 classes, 100 classes, invitation to join a free class for content, and owners are much more personable. You can tell who is in it for the money and who is actually passionate about lagree. Also, morph trainers spray down the machine as soon as class is over, giving you NO time to stretch because they be waiting by your machine with a towel as soon as class is over. Just feels like they're trying to rush people out asap. Other studios use wipes, giving people time to chill out and stretch after a challenging workout. Overall, There are A LOT of better lagree studios out there, in all the ways. A lot of studios have holiday discounts/founders deals much better than what morph offers. Take it from me who was a huge morph fan who ended up finding a sense of belonging at another studio. Forgot to mention that I been weight lifting for 3 years and the only 2 times I got severely injured to the point of bed rest was at this studio.

She's the best instructor!! She's always watching and correcting form so I know I'm in the right postures / positions. I love that attention to detail because it makes me feel like I'm really getting the most out of every session. Now that I'm pregnant she's really great at giving me modifications. The studio itself is spotless and thoughtfully set up. The bathrooms and showers are super clean, which makes those early 6 AM classes so nice because I can shower and head straight to work (complementary towels, shower mats, razors, q tips, deodorant, hair dryers, etc). There's plenty of street parking around the block and designated spots in their lot. Highly recommend :)

Over the years, I've tried everything--physical therapy, chiropractic care, neuro therapy--you name it. Nothing ever really worked... until I found Geri. I started attending her Pilates classes in May 2023, and I genuinely haven't felt this good in my body in years. She has something special. Through classical Pilates, she's helped realign my spine and hips and completely transformed the way I move and feel. My pain is gone, and I feel stronger and more connected to my body and mind than ever before. Geri is hands down the most knowledgeable instructor I've ever met--and that's saying a lot because I've been to over 30 well-known studios across LA. She has an incredible eye and can instantly spot where your form is off or what needs adjusting. She doesn't just lead a class--she teaches you how to move better, listen to your body, and grow stronger. She guides us with her strong spirit through every movement--and through life. Even after moving to the Westside, I still drive across the city just to train with her. I haven't found anyone else who comes close. Her energy, passion, and professionalism are unmatched. I'm endlessly grateful to have found her.

If you like Lagree, this place is it!…read more My whole body was shaking and the exercises are not easy. But after the workout, I really liked it. Bring: water, towel, grip socks Downside: they don't have a real person you can speak to if you're calling. There is only automated person who can't help you if you have anything besides what's the address and where to park. Also, no one is at the front door if it's before you class and you have questions and concerns about parking, class, etc. I couldn't even open the door with the code to go in. I think the key you open it 15 min before class and that's when you can ask a real person questions. I really like lagree because of the low impact, strength training that builds muscle. Usually I do circuit training but this is so different and I love the workout. When we do glutes, I really feel it in my glutes. Usually I don't when I do squats or lunges. My glutes have been sore for 1 week after the class. Highly suggest doing Starter50 or Foundation50 if you haven't or don't know how to do the moves on the lagree machine. Do like 5 classes, even the instructor suggested it because in the regular class, the instructor doesn't come down on the machine and correct your posture at all and it is very fast pace. I did the Starter50 class and it was the pace where I didn't know my form and she was correcting it and lets you know each exercise and corrects everyone. The class still makes you work out and I was sweating and shaking. Lagree machines are clean because at the end of the class, they give disinfectant wipes to wipe down the machine. There isn't a good place to put your stuff besides inside the machine on the floor that has space to put your shoes/sandals, water bottle, and purse. It's not big so don't bring too much stuff. The ambiance is very nice and dark with blue lighting. Very cool. Go early to get the best lagree machine. So you can see the instructor. Parking: there is underground parking on Fair Oaks Ave that is they validate for free for 90 min. If the FRONT parking is blocked, drive around to the back of the building that has a weird curvy small road (right cross street of Leonard J Pieroni St) and there is another entrance to the underground garage. If there is an event, and to the parking person said you'll have to pay, you don't. The studio gives you a validation to park at the curvy road at the back ground parking. HOWEVER, be sure to park at the front or behind the building. DON'T PARK AT THE PARKING LOT ACROSS THE STREET. THEY DON'T VALIDATE PARKING AT THE ACROSS THE STEEET PARKING LOT.
