Dr Ryan was experienced in treating these issues and over a short period of time under his care, I was pain free and back to normal. On my first session, he asked many questions about my sciatica. The most impressive thing he asked was what type of activities that I'd like to get back to doing if I didn't have sciatica. For me I wanted my short term goals to being able to do yard work, to be able to carry my dog into the car so I could drive her to a park for our daily walks and to be able in 3 months to dance with my grandkids at a annual community festival. With my short term goals understood, Dr Ryan made sure his exercises were geared to allow me to achieve my short term goals! At each session, he gave me massages that helped relieve my stiffness and his stretching and strength exercises during my hour session helped me feel better each day. Then I progressed to my more strenuous exercises. At the beginning of each session, Dr Ryan greeted me with a smile and asked questions about my current condition. When I did have pain on days prior, Dr Ryan immediately came up with a game plan for my session but also explained to me why I was having my symptoms. Vincent PT was the only place that would squeeze me in on short notice. I am very thankful they took me in as a new walk-in patient and the short story is that the treatment worked - the results were immediate and lasting. 2. Teresa at the front desk was super nice when I called and when I arrived in person. She was very patient, knew what treatment I needed based on my condition, was the one who squeezed me in to the busy schedule, and was very pleasant getting my information (as a new patient) and then the next day when I called back to update my status. Great customer service! 3. Michael is a great physical therapist. Extremely knowledgeable and I felt like he understood my condition and how to treat it. He was also very patient in explaining everything to me and doing the treatment - making sure I was comfortable and not in pain the entire time. I didn't feel rushed (as I do at other places), and he does everything himself (vs other places where you start with the experienced person but then they pass you to a new person who doesn't seem to know anything). Even though I was a brand new patient, he took very good care of me and I felt like a VIP. Parking and access are easy. It's faster to enter on Foothill into the surface parking lot, and then enter from the outside (not through the main lobby). This isn't my first time here. A while back, I came in for hip discomfort and IT band pain, and knew exactly who to turn to when this new issue came up. As a Marine Corps veteran, most of my medical care is handled through the VA, but in this case, the podiatrist I saw could only offer custom orthotic inserts. They helped a little, but I knew I needed something more--specifically, a plan to strengthen my foot rather than just mask the symptoms with medication. Fortunately, the VA's Community Care program allows veterans to receive care outside the VA, and Dr. Gomez has been a provider in that program for years--which I'm extremely grateful for. Her clinic is nearby and convenient, and there's something genuinely comforting about the fact that it's a family-run business. Dr. Gomez's husband runs the front office, and her daughter-in-law is one of the assistant PTs. Over the years, I've seen multiple PTAs come through and be mentored by Dr. Gomez--it's clear she cares deeply about her patients and the people she brings onto her team. What I especially appreciate is that Dr. Gomez takes time to explain everything--what's going on, why we're doing a certain stretch or exercise, and what the expected outcome is. "Well, try not to gain anymore weight."…read more THAT is what the doctor told on me on my first visit. This after the shocked look when she wondered why my GP didn't have me on Ozempic. No, I am not kidding. The place is crammed with equipment and people practically trip over each other to get to their sessions. I watched a massage happen behind a drawn curtain and the poor girl had inches of space to work. Oh, and you'd better love dogs. (which I do) but they rule the space and will take over your session wanting pets and love. Honestly, I did not mind that part but if you are not a dog person, you won't have a choice. Unprofessional as hell. However... After a few sessions to warm up around the holidays, I returned and was told to get on the stationary bike. I said no. I have arthritis in my ankle, knee and a muscle on the side of my leg that keeps me up at night. I was there to strengthen my legs, if possible. But, I was forced onto the thing anyway and encouraged to do five minutes. The pain was A LOT and my knee clicked with every rotation. I was told "But see, you can do it!" Translation: "You're not in pain, you're just fat. If you do the bike, you will lose weight." I was reinjured and didn't sleep for the following week as the pain in my legs kept me up all hours. I have not returned. Clearly, I am too fat for this practice.

TLDR: He has been able to help each of us after we all were separately convinced that we had seen "all of the best" PTs/therapists/healers in California, Minnesota and Vancouver. I found him while I was training for an Ironman a couple of years ago. I had experienced a number of injuries while training that were starting to slow me down. Not only did those injuries resolve, but in later appointments with him I was able to fix my chronic shoulder/neck and low back pain that I had been living with for the last 15 years after injuries/surgeries from playing high school football and baseball. I can't put a price on what this has done for my quality of life as someone who values taking care of my health and fitness. Since then I have sent my parents, girlfriend and one of my friends to him and we have all had the same experience. Parents: Dad (ankle) Mom (meniscus) - - both of them are now pain free after they had been living in pain for the past two decades after each of their injuries. One of my best friends experienced a near-death skydiving accident. Broke 4 cervical vertebrae and tore his acetabular labrum (hip labrum) and had seen 12+ specialists to try to get out of pain and regain his mobility he had lost after being in a neck brace for 4 months. He was told that all of those specialists were the best in their fields/techniques but he only saw either marginal improvement (if any) or temporary improvement/relieve with them. After one appointment with Dr. Loc he regained most of the functionality of his left hip and is excited to go back and address his neck pain with Dr. Loc. For the first time in half a decade he is feeling confident that there is actually a path out of pain for him. My girlfriend had low back pain throughout her life as long as she can remember. After a single appointment with Dr. Loc she has not experienced anywhere near the intensity/frequency of pain that she was experiencing prior. Even a day of sitting too long at her desk chair would have her at 6/10 pain and now the worst she experiences is a 1.5-2/10 after heavy lifting/long hikes. (follow him on Instagram and you'll see dozens of case studies and other examples of this happening for other people as well) Put simply: We all call him a wizard and he is the now the first person we are all recommending other people go and see when they're dealing with any sort of pain. Suffering Spinal Stenosis I had an Orthopedic Surgeon and a Neurosurgeon tell me that spine surgery would most likely be required. At 78 years old I obviously would prefer not. After Frank released me, I've continued his therapy protocol religiously. My condition is greatly improved & while not being 100% certain that I've dodged surgery I believe there's a greater chance of dodging that bullet than not. I highly recommend Frank and his team. Overall, I hesitantly rate them at 10-only because 11 isn't a recognizable choice !
