I heavily considered not leaving a review because I feared criticism from the trainer, but I felt…read moreso bad after our trial session that I felt the need to say something. Our session was good, but I needed time to deliberate before moving forward - it was a bit commitment and I needed some time to reflect. The trainer got incredibly heated, first going on about how great his services were compared to everyone else and then shaming me for not committing on the spot and wasting his time. I let the trainer know that I am unemployed and rely on my parents for financial support, so I needed to deliberate with them before proceeding further. I felt belittled for communicating my needs, and received harsh criticism from the trainer about being "a waste of time." It should be noted that on the website, the first session is advertised as a "no obligation free workout." But the session took place in a paid gym. He paid for the day pass, which I was very grateful for, but upon completion, I refunded the money back. Still, I continued to receive verbal abuse from the trainer post session (see screenshot below) Final thoughts: don't offer no-commitment complimentary sessions on your website if you're gonna accuse people of wasting your time and shame clients. UPDATE: I've continued to be harassed by the trainer. Completely unprofessional.

I've been training with Jess for 2.5 years, and I can honestly say it's one of the best decisions…read moreI've ever made. When I first started, I was terrified of lifting weights. I had just moved to LA after going through a really difficult personal loss, and I had gained weight due to depression. Before that, I had spent over a year doing Beachbody workouts 6 days a week, walking constantly, and eating as little as possible. I was thin--but had no muscle--and the moment life hit hard, I gained everything back quickly. About 6 months before my wedding, I decided I needed to try something different. That's when I met Jess--and from the very first session, my fear started to disappear. I still worried I wouldn't be "good enough" or strong enough to lift heavy, but Jess is incredibly encouraging, kind, and positive. Because of her, I kept showing up. Within a couple of months, something clicked--I realized lifting was not only more effective than endless cardio, but actually more enjoyable. And surprisingly, I wasn't constantly sore like I expected. Fast forward 2.5 years later: I'm hip thrusting 195 lbs and deadlifting my body weight--and I feel strong, confident, and capable. As someone who is very Type A and disciplined, I tend to push myself hard. Jess is the perfect coach because she knows exactly when I'm holding back versus when I'm truly at my limit. She pushes me in a healthy, supportive way and celebrates every win with so much genuine enthusiasm. I'm very motivated by positive reinforcement, and she just gets that. The results speak for themselves. I originally bought my wedding dress in a larger size, hoping just to "tone up" my back. After 6 months of training with Jess (3x/week) and following her macro guidance, I dropped a size and saw a huge difference in muscle tone and overall confidence. But more than anything, Jess changed my relationship with fitness. I fell in love with lifting--and I truly don't think I would have stuck with it without her. We are so lucky to have her. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in her clients. Jess is the BEST. I can't recommend her enough.

I tried to make my own splits and learn some form on my own, but it really makes a big difference to have a personalized split made for me and to someone there to watch, correct, or confirm form. Even the smallest adjustments to form make the biggest differences! Results have been so much better and quicker than when I was attempting on my own. I love her energy and how she's always there to answer my questions. I feel so much more confident in the gym now too! Highly recommend :)

That all changed when I started training with Rudy at his private spot in Pasadena about two months ago. Rudy is just the best--he's become a total friend and is so easy to talk to. He's incredibly kind and never tries to "oversell" you on anything. What I love most is that he's a total pro who doesn't talk down to you; he just breaks down the science behind the "why" so everything actually makes sense. He doesn't sugarcoat the truth, but he's always there throughout the day with check-ins and encouragement to keep me moving. The results have been such an eye-opener! I was really frustrated that my weight loss had stalled, but Rudy helped me figure out how to drop the weight safely and consistently--without ever feeling like I was starving. In just two months, I'm already down about 9 pounds of fat and successfully recomping at the same time. The biggest surprise, though? Discovering what I'm actually capable of! I had no idea I was this strong, but with his structured program, I just hit a massive milestone: deadlifting 185 lbs for 5 reps! Beyond the lifting, his knowledge of hormonal health and wellness has been a total game-changer for my energy levels. He's so passionate about what he does and truly goes the extra mile to tailor everything to you. If you want a trainer in Pasadena who actually knows his stuff and cares about your progress, Rudy is definitely your guy!

He customized my workouts to exactly what I needed, explained everything clearly, and kept me consistent even on the weeks I wanted to fall off. Sometimes I felt like I wasn't making any progress but had to keep in mind that weight does fluctuate and to not let that get to me. Seeing the changes in the mirror helped me stay on track. The progress I've made with him is greater than when I thought I could do it myself. His weight-loss approach is straightforward and no nonsense. Rudy has been very kind and easy to work with. If you want serious results, I highly recommend him.

One of the things I love about Peter is his commitment and dedication to his clients. He's really pushed me to grow and has been so helpful in giving me techniques to workout safely. Being able to train online definitely helps with my busy schedule. His program for me is simple but definitely effective. Okay where do I even begin…read more A little bit of context about me, I'm a guy in his late 20s that has done light exercising and lifting sporadically throughout my adult life so far. I've never been able to really reach my fitness goals on my own even after countless hours of research of so many different workout regiments to gain mass. I decided this year that I was no longer going to create excuses and wanted to go all in with a trainer that I could trust to have my best interest in mind while still being able to push me past my limits. When I started looking around I went to a few different trainers but ultimately chose to work with Peter after a consultation, his friendly demeanor and seemingly endless knowledge that he's always eager to share gave me the confidence that I was choosing the right trainer. Over the past 3 months or so I've been working with Peter and the results have been substantial. He's given me a solid foundation on powerlifting and in the short time I've worked with him I've almost nearly doubled the weight I can push for each of the big 3 lifts. Beginner gains are definitely real and he has helped me squeeze every little ounce of muscle I could get out of it. I'm now exiting my beginner gains and entering a more weakness targeted regiment to continue pushing further. Anyway this review is getting pretty long. If you're looking for someone with the track record to prove he's the best option out there for your fitness goals, he's literally right here. Seriously thanks Peter, you've provided a "leave your ego at the door" space that has helped me reframe my mindset on lifting in general. I'll be training with him for a long time. For reference, the photos below are about 2 months of progress or so.
